从前，有一个十分漂亮的地方，犹如人间仙境。后来，人们渐渐得发现了，砍柴也是一种赚钱的办法，后来，人人都去砍柴。结果，一场大雨就把整个小村子给淹没了。

这个小故事告诉我们，不可以破坏环境，不然的话，大自然是不会饶过我们的。

也有一个故事：有一位名人，他发现了一处地方，这里的空气好，水十分得清，人们过着世外桃源的生活。他就去找这里的村长，说把这个地方为旅游景点，村长立马就答应了。后来，这件事被登了报纸，很多人都来这里。结果，这里一个月后，就变成了到处是易拉罐、塑料袋，原本的“人间仙境”的美称，自然而然的就没有了。

这件事也告诉我们，破坏大自然的是人类，不是其他。

大自然，有时候，就像一个天使，会为我们提供美好的环境，过着幸福的生活;大自然，有时候，就像一个恶魔，使我们过着人人不安、惨不忍睹的生活。而那天使变成魔鬼的过程是，人类破坏环境的结果——报应。我认为，只要人类不破坏环境，史上就不会多那么多的惨事。

如果这样继续下去，人类未来的子子孙孙又将何去何从呢?人，不要只为了现在生存而活着，还要为未来想一想。因为，我们只有一个地球，没有了这个就不会再有第二个了。现在，我们每天呼吸这烟和灰尘，难道你会好过吗?为了现在和未来，我们不应该努力保护环境吗?

有时候，一个人会这样想：我一个人破坏环境，地球也不会因我而转变什么。可是，如果地球二十二亿人，每个人都这样想的话，那么地球就到处是垃圾，就变得百孔千疮，那还有幸福的日子吗?

我觉得，有时候，自然就像一座天平，我们破坏环境，就是天平的左端，而自然就报复我们，这为天平的右端。这样，我们对着大自然也只能无语了。谁叫我们先惹他的呢?

我认为，应该从小朋友开始就灌输保护环境这种意识了。

最后，保护环境人人有责。

Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is shown in the chart, we can

see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will

continue. From 1980 to 2010, at least 1 million animal species have disappeared.

Worse still, more and more wild animals are in great danger. It is not a piece

of sensational news; it is a fact, a harsh reality. Unfortunately, we may not

see these animals in the near future.

From the second picture, we can find some reasons. Why is the number of

animal species declining year by year? Apparently animals have become victims of

fashion industry. Animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes and

these clothes sell at a high price. So some greedy people begin to kill animals

in a large quantity. This irresponsible behavior not only breaks the balance of

nature but also endangers the living environment of human beings.

As far as I am concerned, something must be done to stop this illegal

action. We believe "no buying, no killing". First, we must make concerning laws

to protect these animals in danger. Second, we must take some measures to

protect animals effectively. Animals are our friends and part of our

environment. Third, we should raise peoples awareness to protect animals and

our environment. In this way, we can build a harmonious society and ensure a

sustainable development.

大家都知道！地球妈妈的生命正在慢慢衰老，就是因为我们不好好地保护地球，珍惜地球资源，导致地球妈妈生命衰老。我们应该携手保护地球，让地球妈妈恢复光彩！

我们在破坏地球妈妈，然而被我们破坏的地方很多，比如：将垃圾随地乱扔；随地扔果皮纸屑，随地吐痰；排放工业污水到河流里，（就比如我们的母亲河：“温瑞塘河”如今已臭得熏天了）；我们小孩把只用过一面的纸，还没用完就扔了；洗碗时，碗虽洗好了，但水龙头仍在那一直放着，没有关紧，这是在浪费水，珍惜一滴水，就可以让一位难民喝到一口水……

对于保护地球，我提出以下几个建议节约用水。为珍惜水资源，不让水龙头空流，缩短淋浴时间；安装节水龙头；用节水型抽水马桶。

2.节约用电。尽量少使用电器，随手关灯。随时关紧电冰箱的门；使用节能灯具；购买高效低能耗电器。

3.节约用纸。纸浆需求量的猛增是木材消费增长原因之一。全国年造纸消耗木材1000万立方米，进口木浆130万吨，进口纸张的大量消费不仅造成森林毁坏，而且因生产纸浆排放污水江河湖泊受到严重污染（造纸行业所造成的污染占整个水域的百分之三十以上），用过一面的纸可以翻过来做草稿纸，便条纸，或自制成笔记本使用；过期的挂历可以包书皮。

4.废物利用。如：糖纸可折成灯饰或门帘；旧衣服可做成拖把等等，支持和参与废纸、废玻璃、废塑料和废金属的回收利用。

5.减少生活垃圾，自觉将垃圾分类。

6.少用化学制剂，购买使用无磷、生物可降的洗剂用品。

7.尽量不使用个人轿车，为减少空气的污染。节约能源尽量使用公共交通，自行车或步行；使用无铅汽车油，购买小排气量的轿车、

达到以上要求，应该能让地球妈妈活得更长久！
