Walking on the campus, youll find luxuries are not far away for students. Some wear CK clothes and some carry LV bags. According to an online survey conducted by Tencent in May this year, there are 37 percent students claiming to have a certain luxury.

贫困大学生的职业选择呈现此特点,主要有三方面的原因: 首先,市场经济社会的世俗化倾向。随着市场经济的不断发展,现代人希望名利双收,即在物质和精神两方面都想获得更多的东西。其次,来自家庭不合理的期望值。许多贫困家庭把培养一名大学生作为改变家庭现状的重要投资,导致贫困大学生把薪酬待遇作为就业考虑的首要因素。再次,个人虚荣心作祟。部分贫困大学生认为自己是“草窝里飞出的金凤凰”,从欠发达地区考出来就是为了就业时找个“体面”的好去处。

(二)缺乏一定的社会资源

北京大学高等教育规模扩展与毕业生就业课题组的调查显示,家庭背景决定子女就业。家庭背景愈好,毕业生工作落实率与起薪点就愈高。据2003 年度全国高校毕业生就业状况显示,父母社会地位越高,权力越大,社会关系越多,其子女求学和就业的机遇就越多。北大的调查还显示,父亲为公务员的毕业生工作落实率要比农民子弟高出14个百分点。当前,国内就业压力居高不下,高校毕业生增长率远高于城镇新增就业岗位增长率,使大学生特别是贫困生面临着求学、就业的双重压力,亟须高校创新人才培养模式,破解贫困生求学就业“两难”问题。

(三)经济资源匮乏

近年来,因为高校的收费制度变革,学生多是交费上学,因此家庭经济负担更重,这也是高校贫困生情况加剧的重要原因。虽然在国家政策的关心下,通过完备的“奖、贷、补、助、免、减”体系帮扶,家长和学生已经不必为入学难、读书难担心。但是,即便如此,很多贫困生家庭的经济承受能力已经达到极限,不能再承受任何风险。害怕经济上受挫,在择业心态上就表现为求地位、保稳定,在择业范围、择业方向上就必然受到这个束缚。求职成本的高昂,也加大了他们的就业难度,有些贫困生为考虑费用的支出只能坐失良机,望职兴叹。

(四)综合素质偏低,难以适应新的就业形势

大多数贫困生来自老少边区的农村或经济收入偏低的城镇家庭,进入大学以后,由于生活环境、学习方式和人际交往模式发生了许多变化,贫困生在饱受经济压力的同时,还要承受重新适应环境的任务,诸多心理的不适应逐渐凸显。有的贫困生在高中出类拔萃,但到了大学渐渐失去优势,学习成绩一般者较多。他们的动手能力、语言表达能力、组织能力、特长欠缺,实践创新能力较差。尤其像计算机这样需要较强动手能力的专业,贫困生往往因为经济条件的限制,实际操作的时间少,又不擅长利用各种机会进行锻炼,出现重理论,轻实践的情况。而用人单位招聘员工时,在学习成绩与动手能力之间往往更注重后者。贫困大学生的综合素质距离用人单位的要求还有一定的差距,这也是造成贫困大学生就业难的一个原因。

(五)弱者心理常见,挫折体验明显

不少贫困生存在自卑心理,性格孤僻内向,缺乏与教师和同学们的交流和沟通,直接影响其全面发展。相当一部分贫困生对家庭的困境没有正确的认识,始终把自己当成一个等待救助的弱者,没有勇气去参加社会的筛选和与其他人的竞争,常常因为在求职过程中遇到一点挫折,就怨天尤人,抱怨社会的不公。另外,贫困大学生求职时想一步到位、一次成功,容易因为遇到一点挫折便产生悲观情绪;贫困大学生容易满足,偶有所获就裹足不前,不再去尝试和追求。因此,许多就业机会与贫困学生擦肩而过。 "

二、解决贫困大学生就业困难的对策

分析当前贫困大学生的就业难的原因,可以看到,经济困难依然是造成贫困大学生就业困难的重要因素,对他们的择业心态、职业取向、求职消费和还贷信用等方面有较深的影响,缓解与解决经济困难是解决贫困大学生就业难问题的基础。同时,贫困大学生的就业问题不仅是经济方面的问题,还涉及自身心理问题、求职方法与技能等方面的问题,还有社会、学校、家庭等各方面的原因。因此,只有建立起政府、社会、家庭和学校的合力机制,并加强相互间的沟通和合作,才能从根本上解决贫困大学生就业问题。作为高校本身,应充分认识到贫困大学生就业问题的重要性和紧迫性,在不断扩招的情况下要始终坚持科学发展观,贯彻“以学生为本”的育人理念,积极为贫困大学生的就业创造各种有利条件。

(一)做好就业指导,树立正确的就业观念

学校及有关部门应切实加强对学生的人生观、价值观和择业观教育,帮助学生解决择业思想矛盾,引导他们改变以往不正确的“三大”“三个一点”的择业观念,树立正确的择业观念。贫困大学生应该着眼于能够发挥自身才华,能对社会有益的工作,国家早已开始实施西部大开发战略,各省市自治区近几年开始的大学生村官计划,均给大学生就业带来新的机遇。各类专业人才的匮乏为祖国西部、各基层地区的开发和发展造成了极大的阻碍,那里正需要我们的大学毕业生去发挥自己的聪明才智。同时,还应当明确大学生成长的价值必须符合社会发展的需要。贫困大学生要树立远大理想,树立国家利益和人民利益高于一切的思想,把个人需要与社会需求紧密地结合起来,自觉地服从社会的需要,到国家最需要的地方去建功立业;要学会正确地看待社会主流和阴暗面,全面认识和理解就业政策、就业形势,明确自身定位,积极参与到社会竞争中,从而实现真正的人生价值。

Should Class Attendance be Required?

Nowadays required class attendance is very common at colleges and universities. Most people accept ti as a necessary policy t ensure the normal teaching order and create a good study atmosphere. Besieds, they think it is a good urge for those students who lack self-discipline.

However, still some others do not agree this argument. In their opinion, rigid attendance policies do not benefit students studies. A student may have to give up a lecture which he finds bital to his studies simply because he dare not run the risk of being penalized for his absence of his course. Besides, they say there is no proven correlation between attendance and performance.

As for me, I am in favor of the latter opinion. Required class attendance may secure one hundred percent attendance for a course, but it does not make much sense. A student may never be absent in a course, but who knows whether or not he is just sistting there daydreaming all the time. Therefore, a student should allowed to decide for himself whether an in-class wxperience is worthwhile.
