放眼望去，有的只是凹凸的地皮，大片大片的树林遭人砍伐，变成人们生活上的木制品。人们只为一己私利，使成群的动物流离失所，奔向它方。这并不是虚假的幻想，这是血淋淋的事实。

曾几何时，世界上大批的动植物遭到灭绝，还有许许多多的动植物濒临灭绝，这都是为什么?这都是因为人类乱伐树木，破坏了生态环境，这才是根本原因。

土地资源是三大地质资源(矿产资源、水资源、土地资源)之一，是人类生产活动最基本的资源和劳动对象。人类对土地的利用程度反映了人类文明的发展，但同时也造成对土地资源的直接破坏，这主要表现为不合理垦植引起的水土流失、土地沙漠化、土地次生盐碱化及土壤污染等，而其中水土流失尤为严重，乃当今世界面临的又一个严重危机。据估计，世界耕地的表土流失量约为230亿吨/年。

有人认为酸雨是一场无声无息的危机，而且是有史以来冲击我们最严重的环境威胁，是一个看不见的敌人。这并非危言耸听。随着工业化和能源消费增多，酸性排放物也日益增多，它们进入空气中，经过一系列作用就形成了酸雨。

赤潮虽然自古就有，但随着工农业生产的迅速发展，水体污染日益加重，赤潮也日趋严重。我国自1933年首次报道以来，至1994年共有194次较大规模的赤潮，其中60年代以前只有4次，1990年后则有157起。石油类污染对水质和水生生物有相当大的危害。漂浮在水面上的油类可迅速扩散，形成油膜，阻碍水面与空气接触，使水中溶解氧减少。油类含有多环芳烃致癌物质，可经水生生物富集后危害人体健康。二氧化硫主要由燃煤及燃料油等含硫物质燃烧产生，其次是来自自然界，如火山爆发、森林起火等产生。二氧化硫对人体的结膜和上呼吸道粘膜有强烈刺激性，可损伤呼吸器管可致支气管炎、肺炎，甚至肺水肿呼吸麻痹。短期接触二氧化硫浓度为0。5毫克/立方米空气的老年或慢性病人死亡率增高，浓度高于0。25毫克/立方米，可使呼吸道疾病患者病情恶化。长期接触浓度为0。1毫克/立方米空气的人群呼吸系统病症增加。另外，二氧化硫对金属材料、房屋建筑、棉纺化纤织品、皮革纸张等制品容易引起腐蚀，剥落、褪色而损坏。还可使植物叶片变黄甚至枯死。

Our modern city is too crowded， and to solve the problem， three proposals are put forward. means of transport in Chinese cities. Compared with the bike and the car, the

motorcycle has its own advantages. First, it is quite flexible. When there is a

traffic jam, it can go through the cars that are held up in the street. Besides,

person at the back. But every coin has two sides. The negative aspects are also

In conclusion, it has both favorable and unfavorable aspects. However, if

当你过着快乐祥和的生活时，你可曾想到我们的学习环境正在一步步地恶化？当你打扫校园时，你可曾看到我们周围那随处可见的白色垃圾？当你充分享受春日里和煦的阳光时，你可曾想到南极上空已经失去了臭氧层的庇护？如今，我们本应美丽的校园却失去了昔日的光辉，为什么呢？这就是因为同学们随地丢垃圾的恶习愈来愈严重了。

你看，走廊上，操场中，几乎每一个角落都有垃圾。尽管值日生每天打扫，可是仍然还有很多垃圾。原因是什么呢？想必大家都很清楚，就是因为许多同学随地扔垃圾。如果每人扔一次，全校同学都这样子的话，那么，校园就成了一个垃圾场。

我每次走出教室，来到走廊，几乎每一次都会看到许多同学把一些垃圾随手扔掉。这，这不仅仅破坏了学校的环境，更是心理的打击、创伤。虽然有许多人都不在乎，都不想就扔了，但这受害的不是他人，而是自己。学校是我们的第二个家，如果我们连家都保洁不了的话，那我们凭什么在这里？根本没资格在这里。许多人都会这样想：“这没什么大不了的呀！扔了就扔了，根本不用去想的。”虽然，一时半会不会有太大的影响，但，如果不从小事做起，不从身边的一点一滴做起，怎么会有所成就呢？所以，“清洁校园，保护环境”就从现在开始吧！从身边的一点一滴开始吧！正所谓：“改变世界一点点，你也可以。”现在，我校正在积极开展“清洁校园，保护环境”的活动，严抓随手扔垃圾的同学，改善校园环境，让我们积极参与进去，提倡“杜绝随手扔垃圾”。我相信，不久之后，我们的校园一定会越变越美，一定！

改善环境，保洁校园，是我们每一个学生的义务，让我们行动起来，一起来好好爱护，保洁我们这个美丽的校园！

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to

improve his way of life。 With the tools of technology he has altered many

physical features of the earth。 He has transformed woodlands and prairies into

farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or

hydroelectric power。 Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining

marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways。

However， mans changes to the physical environment have not always had

beneficial results。 Today， pollution of the air and water is an increasing

danger to the health of the planet。 Each day thousands of tons of gases e out of

the exhausts of motor vehicles。 Smoke from factories pollutes the air of

industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside。 The pollution

of water is equally harmful。 The whole ecological balance of the sea is being

changed and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless。

Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before。 As we know，

massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even

poses a great threat to mans existence。 Indifference to these problems will

mean mitting suicide。 Therefore， effective measures should be taken and laws

passed to conserve environment。 Otherwise，man is certain to suffer from the

serious consequences caused by this lack of care for his living

surroundings。

湛蓝的天空上，不时有鸟儿飞过。四周是漫山遍野的绿色，青翠欲滴，仿佛一片绿色的海洋，即将要流入你的心中。森林里，各种各样的动物在互相嬉戏，享受着这美好且和谐的大自然……这，是曾经的地球。

可是如今的地球却与曾经相差如此遥远。绿色在迅速消失，天空也不再蔚蓝，动物们更是我家可归，一切都源于我们人类，而现在，作为罪魁祸首的我们也该为地球做点什么了……那一天，辅导班组织“绿色家园”植树活动，每一个人都积极参加，乘着大巴车，来到了一片开阔的平原上，这里没有一棵树木，有的只是遍地的杂草。每个人都从车上拿下了自己的树苗，我也不例外，植树，说起来简单，做起来却困难得很。首先，我们要除去这里的杂草，以便影响树苗的生长。每个人都拿起了从没摸过的锄头，便热火朝天的干起来。因为是第一次干活，当笨拙的我们将在草出完的时候，已经是烈日当空了。这仅仅是第一步，大家就累得上气不接下气，我也不例外，坐在地上再也不想站起来了。但是，我们没有放弃，每当想到曾经的地球是那样的美丽，我们就感到浑身充满了力量。在老师的带领下，我们齐声嘹亮地唱着歌曲为自己助威，挖坑，植树，浇水，大家热火朝天地干着，终于，在夕阳西下之前，完成了工作。这次活动之后几天之内，我的身体都酸痛的没有力气，但是我的心里却乐开了花，能够为保护环境出一份力，是每个人的荣幸。

各种事实证明，只要人们肯去努力，都能够团结起来保护地球的环境，其实，曾经的地球离我们并不遥远。以后的生活中，我还会去积极参加这样的活动，也希望能够有更多的人加入进来，一起为我们的地球母亲恢复原来的容貌。
