河边的栏杆也没有了，取而代之的是一棵棵吸臭树。环卫工人告诉我：“是吸臭树把河里的脏东西吸出来，转化为自己生存的能量。”接下来，我又上车继续向家乡驶去。过了一会儿，我的肚子有些饿了，于是我便去了一家餐馆。我坐在座位上，点好了菜，便继续等候。餐馆已经没有服务员上菜了，而是通过传送带传送到桌子上的一个小口中。

吃完了饭，我便又继续上路了。我来到了我家的小区，小区院中有亭。金顶红栏，翘角飞瞻，小巧玲珑，煞是奇绝。亭下有泉，汨汨流出，水声潺潺，宛如玉带轻飘，明珠四溅。鱼儿漫游，好不自在！旁边，草坪如茵，新竹吐翠，各种鲜花争芳斗艳……老爷爷、老奶奶或在林荫道里休闲漫步、听歌唱曲，或投身于广场上跳舞耍拳，或在亭子里下棋聊天……孩子们欢快地奔跑在草地上，那银铃般的笑声在空中回荡。一群小鸟站在枝头兴奋地叫着，好像在欢迎我这个游子归来。

回到家，我见到了爸爸妈妈，虽然他们的鬓角已有些发白，但仍然十分有精神。他们看到我回来，都十分高兴。过后，妈妈把我摁在椅子上，我正在奇怪，忽然感觉像有一只温柔的手在抚摸我，我的疲劳顿时消失的无影无踪。啊！原来妈妈是想让我解除疲劳啊。

家乡的变化好大呀，我真爱我的故乡！

To mark the Nationa I Day, celebrations will be held in the nearby Peoples Park on the morning of Oct. 1st. On the evening of the same day, there will be a colourful display of fireworks to be viewed in the Tianfu Square.

All are warmly invited to both the events and are advised to come to the office to get tickets.

Important：Fete goers are requested to gather in front of the No.3 Teaching Building at 7:50 a. m. to be taken to the celebrations and at 7:00 p.m.to the fireworks show.

Summertime is the best time of the year. There is no school for months and

I get to do what I want. With no tests and no homework, Im as free as a

I do many things during the summer vacation. I relax by reading books and

watching TV. I also hang out with my friends or travel with my family. However,

I dont only play in summer. I take advantage of the free time to learn more.

For example, last summer I learned to swim. This summer I might study computers

or English. Summer vacation flies by fast, so its important to do as much as

you can.
