I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. With the development of society, the competition of the entire society is

more and more intense, causing increasing pressure to people. Stress of study,

work and life are ubiquitous, but how can we deal with it? Here are some tips

that I hope can be useful.

Firstly, keep good health. A healthy body is the premise to face presure.

It’s the least capacity to cope with stress when a person is sick. Secondly, to

accept the pressure. The reason why many people can not cope with stress is that

they resist and escape it. Actually, there always is trouble and problems once

we chose a path to go, because almost everything worth doing is not so easy.

Thirdly, solve the problem, rather than complain about it. Many people complain

about the surroundings and don’t think about the solutions when faced with

problems. We all know that complaint can do nothing but only let you down. As

long as the problem not solved, the pressure is always there. Fourthly, tell

others your pressure and get help from them. Lots of pressure can’t be solved by

our own and the rational way is talking the pressure to workmates or friends to

get help from them. But the premise to do so is that we don’t intend to put

pressure to others but to seek help and support to solve problems.

Of course, there also are some other ways to cope with stress, such as

readjusting goal and expectation, playing games to relax, even shopping or

eating. But no matter how, solving the problem that causes stress is the best

way.

Today, I went out with my best friend. When we arrived at the park, it

rained. We had to run in the rain because we couldnt find a place to hide. But

we still feel happy because we could comfort each other. The rain stopped later

and I accompanied her go home. We played in her home for a while and she invited

me for dinner. I refused because I feel it will bring trouble to his family. I

am happy today because the new term is coming. I really want to see my

classmates again

I caught a cold today

In this morning，I felt very uncomfortable when i wake up,after i got up，i

sneezed continuously,so i realized that i had caught a cold.Then i went to the

clinic nearby my home to see the doctor, the doctor prescribed some cold

medicine for me and told me to drink lots of hot water. After taking the pills i

had a good sleep,now i feel better,I hope i will be better soon.

我的家乡里有许多挺拔的小松树，树子中间又一条大河，河水多多的，河岸边有许多碧绿的小草，河水一年四季都流着，河水里有许多小鱼，河面上有一些鸭子，鸭子嘎嘎叫着！好像在说：“这个地方真好啊！”来到这里的人都说：“这儿真的是人间天堂啊。”有一些孩子经常来这里钓鱼。

刚回到家乡，我就碰上了老同学，老同学向我介绍着大街上的情况，现在的马路是智能路，有太阳时会吸收太阳能转为电给行走的汽车充电，现在的汽车里面都有一只大手好应对突发情况：接着我们来到了郊外，这里有农田和果园，里面没有农民的身影，只有几个机器人在井然有序的干活，原来只要给机器人下指令，机器人就会按主人的意思去做。

最后我们来了同学家，这里的家具都变成了超高智能老同学，拿出手机一边操控，让手机投影，一边让沙发开启按摩，顺便让机器人管家端上两杯果汁。结果我不小心弄撒了果实，老同学对我笑眯眯的说没事，然后让智能机器人管家便立马跑到脏了的地面清理干净，又给我端了杯果汁。然我的肚子咕咕叫起来，然后老同学下了一道命令面前马上出现了餐桌，我便点了几道菜，不一会儿机器人管家便把菜端了上来。酒足饭饱之后，我出去散步，之前散发恶臭的小溪。变得十分清澈，生气蓬勃突然有一个冰冷的机械音，本次时间之旅已完毕，正在传送体验者，听完我脑袋一晕就回到了原来的世界。

Computer has considered to be one of the most important inventions in 20

century. It has brought many changes in this world. With the rapid development

of science and technology, more and more people have their own personal

computer. It’s not only can do the calculations at a very high speed, but also

can access to the Internet to get information from the outside world.

Computers play an very vital role in our daily life. They can do a lot of

things. Access to the Internet, you can find the answers to your questions, you

can do on line shopping without going outside. Computer has provided us lots of

convenience. There is no doubt that people can have a better life with

Some people worry about that someday computers may replace human beings.

Then most people will have no jobs. However, in my opinion, computers are not

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I

listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside

and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the

vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year

and play table tennis tegether. And I watched the spring festival party of the

据说，汉初时，有一次汉高祖刘邦被匈奴的单于冒顿包围在平城，城外四面重兵驻扎，其中一面是冒顿的妻子阏氏，她的兵力又比其他三面强大。当时城中断粮，情况危急，刘邦手下大将陈平得知阏氏妒忌她丈夫纳妾，顿生一计，令人造了一些形似歌女的木偶，装上机关，在女墙间跳舞。阏氏远远望见一些女子舞姿婆娑，楚楚动人，担忧破城后冒顿会宠幸这些歌女，就先撤了兵，于是高祖转危为安。后来，这门艺术就开始发扬光大了。

你瞧，那入木三分，活灵活现的木偶，通过丝丝缕缕的细线，摆出那活泼滑稽的姿势，如此惟妙惟肖，妙趣横生。肯定让你看了入了迷，仿佛身临其境。记得我第一次看时，仿佛自己就是里面的人物，结束了还沉浸在里面，直到别人捅了我一下，才惊醒。
