Winter is a season makes people feel sad and cold, but a warm, toasty house

The annual Lantern Festival arrived, and I came to my grandmas house with a

happy mood.

My grandmother had already prepared the lantern for me and my sister, and I

我们按照家乡的老规矩，过春节差不多从腊月就开始了。

农历腊八这天，人们要喝腊八粥。腊八粥可好喝了，它里面有桂圆、苡米、麦片、糯米、绿豆、红豆、芸豆、花生。

我们到了除夕可真热闹。家家赶做年菜，酒肉的香味在天空中久久地回荡着，大人们在门外贴对联，家中贴漂亮的年画，哪一家都通宵灯火，鞭炮声彻夜不绝。在外上班或打工的人，一定得赶回来，吃团圆饭。这一夜人们还得守岁。

就在大年初一的景象可不一样。人们都会出去拜年，一般是年少的给长辈拜年，孩子们会得到特别多的压岁钱，有的孩子会买玩具，也有的会把钱存起来，将来再买学习用品。

也是到了元宵节，超市就特别热闹，人们买元宵回家煮着吃，为的是一家人团团圆圆、甜甜蜜蜜。

我家住在隆德县城，县城段的渝河道可是一道靓丽的风景线，由东向西，足足有5公里长。河道两侧栽满了各种花草树木，五颜六色，犹如两条彩带，随风飘荡。

__年的一天，我回到了阔别已久的故乡——贵阳。

一下到了机场，天空下起了大雨，我正准备撑开雨伞，却发现自己并没有被淋到一丁点儿雨水。原来在飞机场上空，有好几台强力吸水机，下雨时，能把机场上空的雨水吸得干干净净。听说，吸收的雨水用来过滤以后，就把雨水排放在了日常生活用水的蓄水池里，用来洗菜、洗衣，甚而可以作为饮用水。

快到家时，发现我们家住的小区已经变成了一座座的现代化的造型新颖别致的小楼房。四周都是绿化地带。当我走进家门时，爸爸妈妈高兴极了。帮我接过行李时，妈妈告诉我：“家里现在都是智能机器人打扫房屋、洗碗做家务，给我的生活减轻了负担。”

我的家乡是一个著名的旅游胜地，有天目山、大明山、太湖源等等，还有着森林中的城市的美誉，吸引了许许多多的中外游客。

在我的眼里，青山湖是最美的地方，沿着湖边小道前行，薄薄的雾气在湖面上缭绕，使青山湖又增添了一份神秘的面纱，当太阳发出万丈金光时，天水之间已经没有丝毫的雾了，阳光把湖水给照亮了，整个湖面像一面清亮无比的大镜子，把蓝天、白云、青山、小船都清清楚楚倒映在了水中，这简直像人间仙境一般。

I had a very happy day yesterday. In the morning I played computer games ， that was great! And in the afternoon I went jogging alone and I listened to music. I ate a great dinner at night and went to bed early.

在暑假的时候，出于对电脑的喜爱，我就乘车去乡下我哥哥家。透过车窗，此时我看见满山遍野的花草。心里觉得奇怪：那里以前不是荒山吗？问旁人才明白此刻在搞绿化。这时我才明白家乡有了变化。

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.
