Halloween

Halloween is an autumn holiday that Americans celebrate every year. It means "holy evening," and it comes every October 31, the evening before All Saints Day. However, it is not really a church holiday, it is a holiday for children mainly.

Every autumn, when the vegetables are ready to eat, children pick large orange pumpkins. Then they cut faces in the pumpkins and put a burning candle inside. It looks as if there were a person looking out of the pumpkin! These lights are called jack-o-lanterns, which means "Jack of the lantern".

The children also put on strange masks and frightening costumes every Halloween. Some children paint their faces to look like monsters. Then they carry boxes or bags from house to house. plain sailing. However, diffhrent people hold diffhrent attitudes towards

failure. Some people think it a heavy blow to fail in achieving something and

they can not endure failure. When they meet failure, they will be seriously

来到村子里，首先映入眼帘是一个金黄色的大梯田，放眼望去，就像一张金色的地毯，其实是我们家乡最好吃的是油菜花，梯田不仅很好看还很香。走近一闻，啊!一股浓浓的油菜花香扑鼻而来。一阵风吹过，油菜花们随风起舞，就像一群亭亭玉立仙女在跳着优美的舞姿。

村子的前面是一座座拔地而起的房子，屋顶有的是长方形，有的是正方形，有的是三角形，家乡的房子有大有小，有高有低，一座座房子就像新生的竹笋。小镇的街道上常常人山人海，有的人在街上买东西，有的人在街上卖艺，还有的人在促销产品。

村子的后面是家乡最美的地方人造湖。湖里有许多鱼，它们有的在追逐打闹;有的在静静地睡觉;还有的是在觅食。湖边还有几棵高大挺拔的杨柳。一阵轻风吹过，杨柳的树枝被吹动，仿佛在梳理着它的长发。周围还有许多小动物，有蜻蜓、青蛙、蝴蝶、蜜蜂等小动物。

蜻蜓在水面上轻轻地点水，青蛙坐在荷叶上静静等待着猎物上门，蝴蝶则在花丛中自由自在地采着花粉，蜜蜂也在花丛中勤奋地采着花蜜。湖上面有人在那里悠闲地划着小木船，还有的在湖里快乐的游泳，不时会听到人们赞美家乡景色的声音。

当你靠近花丛中，你就会听到蜜蜂翅膀扇动的声音，就像这样“嗡嗡嗡”。湖的右边还有一座轻盈的小木船，上面有许多人地观赏我的家乡的美景，不时会发出叫好声。

我的家乡很美吧!希望我的家乡会变得越来越美丽。

This afternoon, we play a game called ‘Family Tree’. This game is very

interesting. I’m very interested in it. Our teacher’s family is very large. She

has many brothers and sisters. But I am unlucky, I has only a sister and I

without brothers. But I think I have the best parents in the world. They are

very friendly to me. I live in a good family. My grand parents loves me, too.

When they buy meat, they will give the best parts of the meat to me.

When I was a child, I can’t undertand them. I want to have bread. My grand

father took a bike to Qu Tang. Because in our village there is no ‘bread house’.

Qu Tang is far from our village. Now I grow up. I understand them when I think

of this things. I will cry I can’t use words to say I love them.

I love my family!

今天下午，我们玩了一个游戏叫做“家谱”，这个游戏很有趣。我觉得非常有趣。我们老师的家是非常庞大的，她有兄弟组妹。但我是不幸的，我仅有一个妹妹并没有弟弟。但我觉得我有全世界最好的父母。他们对我非常好，我有一个好的的家庭，我的父母也很爱我，当他们买肉，他们会把最好的给我吃。

当我还很小的时候，我不理解他们。我想要吃面包，我的伟大的父亲骑车去Qu Tang.因为在我们乡村这里没有面包房。qu
