crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that

kids should be given more freedom by parents’ effort. At the same time, parents

should take many factors into consideration such as the time restriction for

children and the evaluation to kids’ maturity and capability. Only then can they

enjoy a safe and meaningful childhood.

我国古代有一位爱国诗人叫屈原，他遭谗言被放逐后，无力拯救危亡的国家，悲愤过度，于是投江自尽，以生殉国。人们为了不使鱼虾吃掉他的尸体，纷纷将捏成的各种各样的饼子投入江中，用来喂饱水中的动物，有的划着船在水上敲锣打鼓驱赶水兽。这便成为现在端午节，吃粽子、炸糕点、赛龙舟的由来。

说到这里，我又想起了我家过端午节的情景。奶奶捏了种类不同的饼子，有小花，小人，小海星，真是形态各异。妈妈急着去买菜角，爸爸不慌不忙地拉着我去买粽子。排着长长的队，好似一条长龙，我们好不容易才买到了粽子。可以看出，家家户户都很重视这个节日，人们用这种方式来表达对屈原的思念和崇敬。

夜里，我梦见20年后的我回到了家乡。家乡的变化可大了!

我的家乡在一个小村庄。以前，小村庄的道路两旁堆满了许多生活垃圾，每家每户的院子前后四处都可以看见垃圾。村西边的小池塘边垃圾成堆，池水臭气冲天，从旁边走过的人们都会连忙捂住鼻子勿勿离去。山上的森林出现了裸露的土地，树木也快被砍光了!

眼前的一切让我大吃一惊。道路两旁绿树成荫、鲜花朵朵、绿草如茵，人们的院子里载种了许多果树，果树虽然没结果子，但是，开出的花儿香气扑鼻、芬芳迷人。山上的森林不但没裸露着地土，而且又多长了许多树木，这里的树木长得郁郁葱葱。树下长着许多不知名的花儿，招引来了许多蜜蜂、蝴蝶，可热闹了。小池塘的水也清澈见底，还游着一群可爱的小鱼。

我真希望这个梦境能早日成为实现。

过去的成都，砖瓦平房。冷清的小巷里，不时有一辆小三轮，拉着喇叭慢慢驶去……

常听妈妈讲起她小时的往事。一个大大的四合院里，生活着许多家庭。每到过年，家家户户都做起自己最拿手的菜肴。远远的就能闻到;红烧肉，冰糖提花，豆瓣鱼……飘香四溢。这时她们就会端着小碗到每户家里“讨”吃的。

放假的时候，妈妈就会组织着同学一起到乡间的小溪旁，脱下穿在小脚上的鞋，站到水里嬉戏起来。最初只是用脚不停的蹬着水，也不知什么时候，同学们打成一片。打闹声，水声顿时混到一起，连树上的鸟儿们也被骇的飞走了。

现在的成都，高楼大厦。繁华的大街上，穿梭着一辆又一辆的汽车。

街边早已不见了平平的四合院。一幢幢高楼耸立着。白天，刺眼的阳光洒向大地楼房，他们金光闪闪。晚上，成都的夜景更是让人赞不绝口。各个饭店闪烁着霓虹灯，天府广场的夜灯照亮了黑暗的大地，徘徊在春熙路的人们看着商场放射的五彩灯，心中更是油然而生一种自豪感。

现在放暑假，同学们在自家上网，QQ还可以跟世界各地的人聊天。出去旅游如果无聊也可以随身带着PSP。现在高科技的快速发展是显而易见的。

以前的成都砖瓦平房，现在的成都高楼大厦，我相信未来的成都会创造出更多的奇迹!

每个人都会来自一个发源地，名叫家乡。我的家乡在缙云，是一个山清水秀的小城镇。缙云是一个十分美丽的地方，这里的河水清澈的能看得见底，这里的鱼儿在水中幸福的生活着，游来游去，活泼急极了。·最厉害的就数好溪了，它是我们缙云人的母亲河，多少人的生活起居靠的是它。

缙云不仅水美，山也美。缙云是一个被众山包围的地方。有了这些大山，台风也刮不进来，都有我们的大山爸爸为我们挡着，疲劳时向远处望去，对面的山若隐若现，让人有一种置身于仙境中的感觉。顿时，疲劳烟消云散。

缙云人也十分爱护环境，从来不乱扔垃圾，因为我们觉得乱扔垃圾是很不文明的行为，丢了反而会不好意思得嘞。人们也十分重视绿化，抬头向远远的青山望去，大山仿佛穿上了一件鲜艳的衣裳。随着季节的变化衣裳的颜色也发生了变化，春天是嫩绿的，夏天是深绿的，秋天是黄里带着点红，冬天是棕黄的。真是美丽极了。

缙云的农村也十分整洁，章村就是一个模范。那里十分的干净卫生，不像其他的农村那样杂乱无章。街道上总是干干净净的，一尘不染。村里面的人也十分的有礼貌，他们还实施了捡垃圾换物品的活动。家家户户门口都种满了植物，有红的像烈焰的鸡冠花，有红的像火，粉的像霞的山茶花，还有一棵棵挂满金桔的金桔树。

缙云不仅环境美，文化也美。传说，在很久以前，缙云因为地方好被黄帝选为了修仙上天的地方，所以缙云的历史也十分的悠久。缙云烧饼更是有名，咱们缙云的烧饼外酥里嫩，十分的可口。土爽面也是我们缙云的一大特色。

这就算是我的最美家乡缙云。

我的家乡玉环风景优美，物产丰富。是个可爱的地方。

玉环有座大鹿岛，每年吸引了上百万游客。特别是到了夏天很多人到岛上避暑。岛上很凉爽，因为岛上种满了树木。到退潮的时候人们会纷纷跑到沙滩上捡贝壳、看风景、堆沙子。

玉环的美食躲在每一个角落，它可能在人们篮子里，可能在吆喝声中。但是往往是海鲜最吸引人们特别是鱼岛上的海鲜，人们不但是吃海鲜，而且还去体验捕鱼的乐趣。

“小香港”是人们送给玉环的另一个名字。因为玉环经济发展水平很高，是中国的百强县之一，也是因为玉环人们的消费水平很高。玉环也被称为“阀门之都”因为玉环人民生产的阀门闻名世界。

我爱我那美丽而富饶的家乡，欢迎小朋友到我的家乡做客。

Last week, my parents told me the good news that my family would go camping

with my uncle’s family. I felt so excited about it, because I could spend the

whole night outside, which never happened before. When the day came, we brought

the equipment and bought some food. In the afternoon, the two families settled

down, then we started to walked around. My cousins and I rushed to the forest

and went to the highest point, where we can appreciate the whole sight. Standing

on the highest place, I felt so great. The world was in front of my eyes and I

thought of the old poets’ description. At night, we set the the fire and talked

happily. The parents were talking about the family chores and the kids were

playing games. It was such a happy moment for me.

我爷爷住在凤凰山上，凤凰山上长满了茂密的树木。 My grandfather lives on the Phoenix Mountain, and the Phoenix Mountain is covered with dense trees.

每天早晨起来，听见小鸟的叫声，好像在唱着动听的歌。凤凰山下有一条宽阔的河流——桃江。桃江河里有大大小小的船只从这儿经过，运送着各种货物和旅游的人们。靠近河边的山上有一座高大雄伟的宝塔，下面有一个的钓鱼台，据说古代的爱国诗人屈原曾经在这里钓过鱼，成为千古流传的佳话。

每当春天到来，凤凰山绿草如茵，鲜花开放，这里多么美啊!在桃江的上游还有一个的旅游胜地，叫修山。这里也有一个美丽的传说，修山又叫美女峰，美丽的景色倒映在桃江河里，成为海外游子魂牵梦绕的地方。有一首诗这样写道“倩影江中映，芳名海外隆。”可见修山是多么的美丽啊!

桃江还有一座山叫做浮邱山，更是人们春、秋两季旅游的胜地。每年古历三月初三，男女老幼登山踏青。九九重阳节，人们扶老携幼登山远眺。当人们爬上山顶的时候，就看到一座高耸入云的电视塔，它把全国各地的优秀节目传播到千家万户，让人们享受生活中的乐趣。浮邱山的顶上建了一座气宇轩昂的寺庙。庙里面供奉着许多的神位，那里经常烟雾缭绕，成为那些信男善女顶礼膜拜的地方。

桃江是的“楠竹之乡”。我们桃江有一片绿色的竹林，叫做“洪山竹海”。有一次，幼儿园的老师带着我们去旅游，小朋友都兴高采烈地爬上山去。当我们登上“观竹楼”的时候，看到满山遍野苍翠的竹林，真令人心旷神怡啊!许多中外游客慕名前来，一饱眼福。近几年来，这里成为桃江最的旅游胜地。

桃江还有马迹塘电站、子良岩水库，那里更是山清水秀，鸟语花香，风景秀丽。

有一个作曲家写了一首歌——“桃花江是美人窝”。我们的家乡山美、水美、人更美。我长大以后，一定要把家乡装扮得更加美丽。

However after reading the book on January 10th, 2005, I found that it is a pirated one so that I write to you for complaint.

The book has brought me some negative effects. To begin with, much of my valuable time and energy have been wasted in reading the book since it is quite hard to identify many words in the book.
