我的家乡是陕西省彬县，我爱人我的家乡。这几年，我的家乡再次发生了翻天覆地的变化。

回想小时候，许多孩子因为贫困，到了上学的年龄，却迟迟无法入学；当时，能住进瓦砖房的人就不会让许多人讨厌还被称作“有钱人”；家乡的道路剩是泥泞，凹凸不平，下雨天人们都无法外出，好多特产都无法及时运出去，卖没法好价钱。

现在的家乡，再次发生了相当大的变化，人们的生活很富足，柏油马路通向四方，许多人都有了私家车，农民伯伯的农作物也不俗，我们家乡的彬州梨、红富士苹果、大晋枣惹来四方朋友的注目，家家户户都住进了高楼大厦，电视机、电脑、电冰箱、空调也已经沦为人们生活中的必需品。

去年，家乡相继竣工了两个大广场。一个是城中的开元广场，一个是城西的中达广场。城中的开元广场以人们休闲娱乐娱乐居多，最中心还辟了一个音乐喷泉，这个音乐喷泉和西安大雁塔的音乐喷泉可以相提并论。城西的中达广场主要是园林建设居多，可供人们闲余时分游玩。还有彬州大厦就辟在中达广场的旁边，一共有18层，是我们彬县的标志性建筑，大楼呈圆形“六”边形，从下面望见，就像一座美丽的云梯，直插云霄。

道路宽广了，城市可爱了，现在人们的素质提升了许多。过去人们出口常常是脏话，甚至斗嘴打人。而现在，人人都讲文明、恣意谈人与自然，珍惜公共财物，在广场经常可以看见许多志愿者在做好事……，变化可真大呀！

如今，我的家乡是腾飞的家乡，正横跨着大步，向着更幸福明天迈向！

It was the second day of our summer holiday. I felt good. I felt I am free.

I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Zhongshan. So I live

alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at

Many years ago, when scientists tried to make a robot to do some human

work, they could never thought about how far the robot could go. Today, some

scientists even predict that the wisdom of robot will surpass human being and

take place of us. In the science fiction movies, the directors have explored the

consciousness of intelligent machines, who showed how these machines controlled

people at last. The directors warned people that they may lose the dominant

position in the future. Recently, a robot was given the citizenship and it

became the first robot to be treated as human being. The public was shocked, but

when they saw the robot could communicate with human beings and question about

matters, they felt scared. Maybe in the future, the robot will replace us in

many aspects.

二十年后，一列开往包头东的火车拉响了汽笛，徐徐驶出了火车站。车上坐满了旅客，也包括我，而我已经成为作家，但从未忘记生我养我的家乡。

随着火车的汽笛响起，我的脑海中浮现出许多家乡可爱精致的小物件。不久火车便到站了，我眼前的家乡已经焕然一新，从前的平房已经变成了高楼大厦。我连忙赶回了家，发现从前的4G手机已经变成了无需网络和一点也不卡顿的5G手机。接着，我来到了从前的小商店，发现这里已经变成一体化超市，里面的商品琳琅满目，有新鲜的蔬菜、漂亮的衣服、各式各样的玩具而此时的百货商场也已焕然一新，不像以前那么简陋，新时代的百货商城、购物广场、影城等在街边林立，往来的人络绎不绝。

家乡的面貌变化是我用语言形容不了的，它的变化已经远远超出了我的想象。今后，我要把我从国外学到的知识全部奉献给生我养我、爱我的家乡，让它变得越来越好、越来越美。我相信在不久的将来，它会变得更加美丽、更加繁荣昌盛。

过年了，过年了，终于过年了！我高兴地喊着：“我又长了一岁，我十一岁了。”

一大早，全家就开始忙上了，姥爷在一旁监督，我和爸爸贴对联，这对子写得真好“财源滚滚来，年年发大财”。如今的日子过得红红火火，姥爷也年轻了好几岁呢！

过年了，妈妈要包好多的饺子，有酸菜猪肉馅的，有韭菜鸡蛋馅的，有牛肉萝卜馅的……新年晚上，全家人围坐在一起吃着好吃的，看着中央电视台的春节联欢晚会，盼望着零点钟声的敲响。10点左右，家家户户燃起了烟花炮竹，火熊熊的燃烧起来了，饺子下锅了，我们要围着火堆绕几圈，听姥爷说这样就不会生病，可以去去晦气。

热乎乎的饺子上桌了，刚刚热好的菜端上来了，全家人一起吃团圆饭了，姥爷、姥姥乐得合不拢嘴，我们把祝福送给他们。

和妈妈收拾完以后，我进入了甜甜的梦乡，我希望下一年马上来到，因为我想再长一岁。

Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in Britain. I did my five years basic training in medicine at Shanghai University. After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in Ophthalmology at the Peoples General Hospital, where I am at present serving a two-year probation in the Eye Clinic.

As a result of the publication in 2003 of my article in New Scientist entitled "Soft and Rigid Contact Lenses ", which was based on a survey of 37 patients over 6 months, I made contact with Dr. Li Ming of the Capital Hospital and Dr. Ma Li of the University College Hospital. I have received their help and advice with my current research project, which is a two-year survey of the acceptance of various types of contact lenses in 200 patients.

Despite their help, I feel that I cannot make real progress in this field unless I can actually have day-to-day contact with these specialists. I would therefore like to continue my research at either the Capital Hospital or the UCH as soon as my probationary period here is completed, and I would like to study in Britain for two years.

I enclose a detailed curriculum vitae and an offprint of my article, together with two letters of recommendation from Dr. Li Ming and Dr. Ma Li.

Children’s education has been concerned by the public all the time. As they

are the future and will decide a country’s destiny, so the environment matters

so much to them. Most parents expect the school can provide the children a good

learning environment and ignore the importance of home education.

School provides the children a direct stage to receive education. In the

school, the teachers pass knowledge and educate them the right value. The

children know their task and as everybody around them focus the attention on

study, so they are affected by each other and have the strong desire to

learn.

Home education is easy to be ignored by most parents, they think it is the

teachers’ duty to educate children. Actually, most criminal teenagers have

family issues. Parents haven’t set good example for the kids. Sometimes they are

even the trouble makers. Without love, teenagers won’t grow up as the strong

people.

Both school and family environment are important for the children, and they

need to be nurtured with the good examples and learn knowledge.

It is important to know our good and bad points because this knowledge will

help us to improve ourself. We should examine ourselves and learn who we

are.

Above all, we should recognize our strengths and weaknesses. For example, I

whole day just watching TV and eating junk food. Im not ashamed to admit these

爸爸的话让我忍俊不禁。是啊，牛粪肥沃了家乡的田野，家乡的田野又养育了家乡的人民。不管我走到哪里，总会想起那股牛粪的味道，还有那花草香，还有那醇醇的泥土味。

穿戴整齐，去到街上秧歌队便已开始了。走在最前面是踩高跷的人，他们一个个虽然有四五十岁了，但是他们一穿上那靓丽的衣服，踩上高跷，走到人群中，就像是二三十岁的小伙子一样，浑身洋溢着青春的色彩。

紧接着便是扭秧歌的了，村里的一些大妈，小老。全部加入到队伍里了，他们身着粉绿色的衣裳，脸上化着妆，迈着十字步，扭着秧歌走着。村里的秧歌讲究的是跑扭结合，他们在奔跑中扭动，女的扭腰抖肩，手里的布缎一甩一甩的，看上去既活泼又大方;男的上部抖肩，在女性的队伍中又以增添了一份阳刚之气，英俊又帅气。秧歌队是由村里的大爷大妈组成的，个个都五十多岁，可在这儿，没有人这样认为，反而看他们脸上洋溢着幸福的笑容，就像是年轻人一样。她们扭腰抖肩，看得我们也不禁想参与进去。

这是我妈一下子把我和弟弟推到队伍里，只见弟弟随着音乐摇头晃脑的，把旁边的人逗得笑个不停，我在队伍里也怪不好意思的，这是我姥姥在队伍后边说：“快扭啊!”我转头一看，哦，原来我姥也在这里边我带着我表弟溜到我姥后边，学着姥姥的动作，踏着音乐的节奏，在队伍后边儿扭起了秧歌来。扭着抖着，感觉自己的烦心事儿也抖没了，心情也开朗了许多。

秧歌队后面接着舞狮舞龙的，只见那龙绕着人们走了一圈又一圈，时不时还走到人群里跟我们一起嬉戏。那狮子可十分活跃，一会儿从那蹿过去，一会儿又从那蹦出来。在大年初一，人们卖力的表演着，只为了人们的欢笑和将着“大年初一扭秧歌!”的习俗传承下去。

年过完了，也许今年与明年又不一样，但这家乡的习俗是不会更改的，它会陪伴着人们度过一个又一个的年!

春天，山上的树木抽出了新的枝芽，长出了嫩绿的叶子;小草长得绿油油的，远远看去，漫山遍野像盖上了一条绿色的毯子。当人们上山挖春笋的时候，累了，就躺在绿毯子上舒舒服服地睡大觉呢。

夏天，山上的树长得郁郁葱葱，上山干活的人们常常会在树底下乘凉。山坡上的野花开得漫山遍野，有红的、黄的、粉红的、蓝的、紫的，绚丽多彩，万紫千红，点缀着我家乡的土地，就像给山坡披上了一件花毯子。

秋天，山上的树林里就会长出许多蘑菇，每当这时，我常常会看到有人上山采蘑菇，蘑菇还是我家乡的特产呢!山上还有许多熟透的野果。看，红红的山楂，黄黄的柿子，像蓝宝石一样的蓝莓，发出阵阵香味，常常勾住人们的脚，让人留连忘返。

冬天，别的地方都看不到绿色了，而山上的松树、柏树却照样生机勃勃。每当下大雪的时候，山上盖满了雪，好像披上了一件银装。

山脚下有一条小河，小河的水真静啊，静得让你感觉不到它在流动;小河的水真清啊，清得可以看到河底沙石。一阵风吹过，河水荡起水波，像一条条细纹，一圈一圈荡漾开去。小河的水像甘露一样滋润着龙南人们。

啊，我要赞美你——美丽的家乡，我爱你的山水，将来我一定把你建设得更加美丽。
