I was bored. So I wanted to travel to Hong Kang. I told my father my

decision. To my surprise, my father agreed. My father thought I always at home

was bad. He thought I should go out to see our country clearly. How beautiful

现在放暑假，同学们在自家上网，QQ还可以跟世界各地的人聊天。出去旅游如果无聊也可以随身带着PSP。现在高科技的快速发展是显而易见的。

Summertime is the best time of the year. There is no school for months and

I get to do what I want. With no tests and no homework, Im as free as a

bird.

I do many things during the summer vacation. I relax by reading books and

watching TV. I also hang out with my friends or travel with my family. However,

or English. Summer vacation flies by fast, so its important to do as much as

you can.

Friendship is essential for the existence of society. People live in

communities and work in co-operation so that they could protect themselves from

nature. The successful accomplishment of any task calls for support from many

people. It’s the friends who are willing to help us. Friendship is a guarantee

of harmonious efforts.

In the widest sense, all people are friends. People live in a common

society, co-operating and helping each other directly or indirectly all the

time. From this respective, anyone could be a friend of others to a certain

degree. And it’s this kind of friendship that makes society harmonious though

competition is universal.

A friend in need is a friend indeed. Unfortunately, people are so complex

in the modern society due to various reasons. Sometimes, we don’t really know

who are our real friends. Adversity is the touchstone of friendship. That is to

say, in hard times, it is easy for us to test whether the friendship is ture or

not. No matter what happens, a true friend will never leave you alone and will

always be with you.

People are enjoying the comfortable life of the modern civilization,

meanwhile, they are also experiencing more and more competitions and suffering

much more stress than before.With the tremendous rhythm of living imposed by

todays world, it isnt unusual for people to feel tired and to try to evade from

the daily problems and stress. I think that there is no magic way that is

appliable to every one of us, and proves itself the most efficient method of

escaping stress. Each man has his specific activities that help him regain the

joy of life. For me the best activities to reduce stress and to forget about

problems are sleeping,playing football, going on a short vacation to the

countryside, attending live performances and spending time with my friends and

with my family.

First and foremost, sufficient sleep, needless to say, is indispensable for

each person, especially those encountering difficulties and suffering enormous

stress. There is no denying that sleep could bring the body sufficient rest,

modulate the function of each organ and release the body from stressful status.

Whats more, sufficient sleep would enable the brain operate more swiftly and

efficiently, thus making us more energetic to handle difficulties. Therefore,

not only could sleep loose the fatigue of the physical body, but also release

the mental stress.

What is more, I think that family is the most important thing in a mans

life. They are always there when you need them. Family provides support when you

need it most, helps you go through the difficult moments of your life.The most

important of all, their love for you gives you confidence in yourself, and makes

your life easier and a lot more beautiful. Friends also have an important role,

because you can evade from concerns by going out with them, talking about things

that are not related to your work, and sharing with them your problems and your

acheivements.

Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not very healthy and I

decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will feel happy and

Today, as the development of the medical, people can slow down their aging. As for the celebrities, they use the developed technology to keep young, seeing their unchangeable faces in the screen for so many years, the audience also want to imitate the celebrity, they believe that by using the developed technology, they can keep young all the time. While in my opinion, the way to keep young is to hold a young heart, some people look young outside, but in their hearts, they are old enough and refuse to keep pace with the time. I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. i wake up 11 oclock am everyday, after a washing, i have a good lunch with my parents. next i play computer games till the time to have supper. after have dinner. i go on playing till 2 oclock am, and then go to sleep with tired. this is one dull day of my winter vacation.

But i havent bored all the time. sometimes i read the books, sometime i listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. and i also meat some of my good friends during the vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether. and i watched the spring festival party of the cctv in the last seconds of the 2004 year! i think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.
