虽然她要求的严了一些，但是那段时间我的英语成绩确实很好，只要跟住老师，英语成绩就不会差，后来老师因为教的好，被别的学校挖走了。

It is far, so we are going by bus. In the evening, we are going to watch TV together.

在这个寒假里，令我最快乐的事是正月十五闹元宵。这天，我们全家人早早吃完晚饭，准备送年。六点刚过，哥哥、姐姐就点燃早已准备好的火把，在每个屋子里转了一圈送下了楼，一家人紧跟在后面来到院子里。左邻右舍也都陆陆续续把火把送了出来，大家一起在院子里欢快地跳起了火堆。四面渐渐传来此起彼伏的爆竹声，天空中不时闪烁着五彩缤纷的礼花。

跳完火堆，我们随着人流走向大街，一路看花炮，一路放花炮。来到一处比较空旷的地方，我迫不及待地拿出许愿灯，小心翼翼地打开，先把它吹鼓，然后让爸爸、妈妈帮着提住上面，我动作麻利地系好固体燃料，拿着打火机点了起来，不一会儿燃料慢慢地燃着了。妈妈说：“先别急，等一会儿再放。”我们轻轻地扶着许愿灯等了一会儿，许愿灯开始慢慢上升，我们不约而同地丢开许愿灯，合起双手许下了自己的心愿。

望着慢慢上升的许愿灯，渐渐地离我们远去，闪闪烁烁的光芒好像天空中的小星星，对着我们眨眼睛，好像在说：我一定会实现你们的愿望!

我盼望已久的夏令营终于开始了，怀着紧张而又激动的心情走进中山大学珠海校区。眼前的一切一切都感到陌生。陌生的环境;陌生的营友;陌生的老师;好不容易拿到了一切证件和书本，接下来是找宿舍。随着拥挤的人群，终于来到了榕园。望着眼前这座高大雄伟的建筑物，想着我将在这里住半个月，我不亦乐乎。经过咨询，才知道我的宿舍在301。我们三步并作两步走了进去。哇，眼前的一切让我感到吃惊。宿舍又小又闷，而且没风扇又没空调，这半个月我要受苦了，真惨啊!但一想：来这里就是要学会独立自理的，又不是来享福，所以我要学会吃苦耐劳!

我们宿舍里每个晚上都有蟑螂、飞虫之类小虫子飞进来，我们都又怕又不知怎么办，只好呆呆地坐着。幸好宿舍里有两个高二的姐姐保护我们，否则我们不知该如何是好。晚上虽然有点热，但是感觉很新鲜，很快便入睡。

我们在这里天天都要上课。从宿舍走到教学楼需要一个钟头。而我们每天要走3个来回，所以想减肥的人来参加这个夏令营一定能减肥成功!我们上课是外教和一个助教上的。上课的形式很灵活，一会儿玩游戏，一会儿单词接龙，一会儿听老师讲故事。我们上课也很随便，外教不会要你坐得整整齐齐，我们喜欢干嘛就干嘛，可以到处乱走，可以下位同其他同学进行英语交流。因为外教喜欢自由，所以也让我们自由。

在这里，我认识了许许多多的朋友，同她们在生活上互帮互助，一起学习，一起聊天。每当我无聊时，她们便会讲笑话给我听;每当我作业不会做时，她们便会一题一题地讲解给我听，直到我会为止;每当我生活上遇到困难时，她们会尽自己最大的力量帮助我;每当我伤心时，她们会安慰我;同她们在一起，我觉得时间过得飞快，觉得十分开心!

在这里十分辛苦，要自己洗衣服、晾衣服，还有许许多多的事情需要自己做主。晚上，洗完澡后，便要自己将衣服洗干净。洗衣服非常辛苦，有时怎么搓都搓不干净，直到搓得双手红通通的，才搓干净一小部分。好不容易搓干净了，接下来是扭干衣服。衣服很重，我费了很大的劲才扭干，此时我已经累得气喘吁吁了。但是还要将衣服晾上去，晾衣服的那根竹竿太高了，我又太矮了。所以我只好请宿舍里的两个高二的姐姐帮忙。

我们每天上午就上课，下午就搞活动。下午的活动丰富多彩，有时候看外教跳舞;有时候爬山;有时候到图书馆看书;有时候上网;女外教们跳舞都很厉害，有时候还玩杂技，非常精彩!晚上，我们不是上课就是看电影——小鬼当家。小鬼当家这部电影很好看，是一部教育片。在场的同学常常看的哈哈大笑，现场也常常发出热烈的掌声。

时间过得飞快，转眼间12天已经过去了。舍不得同老师分离;舍不得同朋友分离;舍不得离开美丽的中山大学;但是，舍不得也要舍得。每当想到快乐的夏令营时，我会觉得很开心，那里是我和朋友们第一次认识的地方，在那里，藏着我们多少欢声笑语……

忘不了这次欢乐的英语夏令营，这个夏令营的确很快乐!

Once， when I was a teenager， my father and I were standing in line to buy tickets for the circus. Finally， there was only one family between us and the ticket counter.

This family made a big impression on me. There were eight children， all probably under the age of 12. You could tell they didnt have a lot of money.

Their clothes were not expensive， but they were clean. The children were well-behaved， all of them standing in line， two-by-two behind their parents， holding hands. They were excitedly jabbering about the clowns， elephants， and other acts they would see that night.

One could sense they had never been to the circus before. It promised to be a highlight of their young lives. The father and mother were at the head of the pack， standing proud as could be.

The mother was holding her husbands hand， looking up at him as if to say， "Youre my knight in shining armor."

He was smiling and basking in pride， looking back at her as if to reply， "You got that right."

The ticket lady asked the father how many tickets he wanted. He proudly responded， "Please let me buy eight childrens tickets and two adult tickets so I can take my family to the circus."

The ticket lady quoted the price. The mans wife let go of his hand， her head dropped， and his lip began to quiver. The father leaned a little closer and asked， "How much did you say?"

The ticket lady again quoted the price. The man didnt have enough money.

How was he supposed to turn and tell his eight kids that he didn‘t have enough money to take them to the circus? Seeing what was going on， my dad put his hand in his pocket， pulled out a $20 bill and dropped it on the ground. (We were not wealthy in any sense of the word!)

Many people like traveling. They just feel happy when traveling. But not many people will think the meaning of travel. What is the meaning of travel? Actually, one of the meanings is to find happiness. Putting aside all the trouble to enjoy themselves usually makes people happy. There is another important meaning. It is to learn things. To go out for a visit can enlarge people’s vision. People can learn a lot from it. Therefore, sometimes we will find that some people will be different after they return home from travel. It is because they learn the true meaning of travel.

In everybody’s eyes, I am a good girl, because I make the good marks in the exams and help my parents to do things. Unlike other students, who will go against their parents, I follow my parents’ words. I don’t think that to do something goes against the adults is the wise choice, but I do want to do something new. Recently, I want to cut my hair and make the short style. My mother doesnt agree with me, because she thinks a girl should have the long hair. This time, I insist on my idea. The farmers got richer by planting vegetables and raising silkworms. In their houses there were colour TV sets, fridges,washing machines, new furniture and even motorbikes. All these showed the farmers life was getting better and better.

The great changes had attracted foreigners. Today some of them would come to visit it. We were happy for the farmers. We hope the farmers will be richer and happier.

I value friendship In complex life, there are two points to keep in mind: to eat for survival, and soul need friendship. Friendship is like colorful candy, always is permeated with in the heart. Friend can encourage you to overcome difficulties, and can bring light to your life. Sometimes, you have to be with your friends, say thank you, thank you for they have been in the accompany you. There are some people who abandoned his friend for money and power. So completely wrong! You should know: money and power to a temporary, and the true friendship is a lifetime. I hope this sentence, become everyones creed! For me, no friends, no everything to me! Once upon a time, I have a very injury is rare. 木子说他喜欢光良的《约定》，然后我就努力地去学，我一遍一遍地唱，觉得光良唱的似乎就是我和木子。
