Do you want to know what I did during the winter vacation? Well, on the first week, I did my homework,surfed the Internet,played computer games and watched TV.

On the second week, I helped my parents with housework, so I did the dishes, washed lots of my parents` clothes and helped them take out the trash.

On the third week, I chatted with my girl friend on cell phone(手机) and we both had a good time.I had a happy winter holiday! So how about you?

Late one afternoon, I was on my way home from school. I walked slowly along the street with my head drooped. The scenes on both sides of the street were beautiful, but I had no interest in them at all. I walked and walked, thinking of what had happened that day.

Just a few minutes before the second class began that afternoon, I was asked to go to the teachers office. I heard my teacher talking to my mother with anger.

How could you dare to go to see a film this morning without permission? Mother said at the top of her voice, slapping me in the face heavily. I look at Mother, dumbfounded…

I walked more slowly, for I had seen my house ahead, where Mother was always standing at the door, smiling at me, at this time every day. But now, she wasnt there. My heard was beating faster. I even didnt dare to open the door for fear that Mother should beat again.

Not knowing what to do, I sat on the ground near the door, blaming myself for what I had done. I was lost in deep agony.

Suddenly a soft hand patted me on the head. I looked up, seeing Mother standing beside me. I couldnt help crying, Mum! tears rolling down my cheeks.

My name is Tom Lee. I am fourteen. I study at No. 4 ICT School, not a very big school. There are about six hundred students in my school. There is only one building in our school, but we have a very big playground. There are ten computer labs and one library in the building, and there are many computer books in the library. We often go there in the afternoon.

我的名字是汤姆李。我十四岁。我在第二通信学校学习，不是非常大的一个学校。在我学校大约有六百名学生。我们学校只有一栋楼，但是我们有一个非常大的操场。在楼里面有十间电脑室和一个图书馆，图书馆里也有很多计算机的书籍。我们经常在下午去那里。

We are busy every day. We have four classes in the morning, and two in the afternoon.

ICT is my favorite subject and our ICT teachers are very patient and helpful. I am good at ICT, but bad in history.

The Way to Keep Healthy

Its important for us to be healthy all our life.We cant study or work well without healthy body.

Therere many ways to keep healthy. First of all, we should keep taking exercises every day. We can walk to school instead of taking a bus. After school, we can spend an hour playing ball games.

If we live in a high-rise,we can walk upstairs or downstairs. Second, we should have a balanced diet. Finally, we must remember: "Early to bed, early to rise is the way to keep healthy, wealthy and wise."

Every studentis excited about the freshmen year, they are looking forward to seeing theirclassmates and will open the new chapter of their lives. While when the senioryear comes, it means saying goodbye to their classmates and is it time to leaveschool. Freshmen year brings happiness and senior year brings sorrow, students don’twant to say goodbye to their classmates, after the long time’s acquaintance,classmates have built strong friendship, it is hard to say goodbye. In China,there is an old saying that all good things must come to an end, for everystudent, they will leave school and fight for each other’s future. Thoughsenior year is a little sad, it is another turning point for the students, theysome will find a job, some will study abroad, all of them are fighting for theirfuture. Senior year in not the end, it is the beginning.

每个学生都会对入学季感到兴奋，他们期待看到新同学，即将展开新的生活篇章。然而当毕业季到来的时候，这意味着和同学说再见，是时候离开学校了。入学季带来了快乐，而毕业季带来了悲伤。学生不想要和同学说再见，经过长时间的认识，学生间已经建立了深厚的友谊，很难说再见。在中国，有一句方言“天下无不散之筵席”，对于每个学生来说，他们将要离开学校，为彼此的未来奋斗。虽然毕业季有点悲伤，但是确实另一个转折点，有些同学找工作，有些同学出国深造，他们都要为将来奋斗。毕业季不是终点，而是开始。
