Most Chinese students have difficulties in learning English. The difficulties vary so much from person to person that it is difficult to cite here in a few words. Some may have problems in reading. Others may have trouble in writing. I also had problems in English learning, but my difficulty seemed to lie in listening. 每个人都有受挫的时候，我也不例外，从小到大，我遇到国许许多多的困难。比如说考试，当我考砸的时候，我不会像别人一样，伤心，难过，我只会把他当作我的警钟，去努力学习，在下次考试中，取得好成绩。

记得我十一岁的时候，我的哥哥给我买了双旱冰鞋，我兴奋的每天早上都出去练习。开始，我只能扶着墙慢慢的移动，一点一点，一步一挪;

从走到墙的尽头，再从墙的尽头走过来，这样，来来回回。每天都会这样练习，一段时间过后，我已经能不扶墙滑动了。我沾沾自喜，便出去溜达溜达，发现了一个斜坡，喜到：正好我想找个地方练练。于是，我二话不说冲了下去，耳边的风呼啸而过，但是，最后，我却摔倒了。

但我毫不为刚刚自己的冒失而气馁，又回到开始的水泥墙，又开始练习。这样，又是几天。

一天，我又信心满满的来到上次的滑坡，准备再试一试。我做好准备，却没有像上次一样二话不说冲下去。而是，一点一点地慢慢移动，然后愈来愈快，最后冲了下去，我却神奇的没有跌倒。我知道，我又战胜了困难。

如果战胜挫折是容易的话，那么，克服对某些事物的恐惧就不是什么易事了。

我一直很怕高，平时站在桌子上腿就抖的不行了。可是那一次，我却出奇的战胜了这种恐惧。

那天，爸爸妈妈带我去爬山，到了一条河的时候，需要过去，可是面前却只有一条细长的链桥可走。我便有些胆怯了，这时，爸爸却问我：“怕么?”。我逞能说：“当然不怕!”“那上去啊。”“真是死要面子，活受罪啊。”我小声嘀咕。

但是该上还是要上，我慢慢的走上了桥。顿时，桥身开始左右晃动，我连忙抓住身旁的铁链，慢慢的稳住重心，继续向前慢慢的移动。可是，越往桥中心走，我越害怕，腿早已抖的不行了，感觉这桥，好像要断掉似的。

这时，爸爸也上来了，本来就摇晃的桥身再加爸爸的重量，人已经不能站稳了。现在，我告诉自己：“我一定要过去，不能让别人见笑啊。”我定神，调整呼吸、调整脚步，掌握好节奏，并努力不看使我胆怯、害怕的汹涌的河水。我向前走，循着规律，随着桥身的晃动一步一步的向前。

突然，我一脚踩空了，我本能往下看，发现河水愈发汹涌，好像快要把我卷走似的。我定神，把脚抽上来，再一次随着规律，慢慢前进。因为，我相信，我一定能过去的。

后来，我也不知我是怎么过去的，但是，我知道：我是靠自己的勇气战胜困难的。

挫折，其实并不可怕，只要你勇敢去面对，不向困难低头，你就一定能战胜它。也就是因为这些困难，我们才学会勇敢，学会不向困难低头的。

A Present for Teachers Day
