A Summer Camp

This summer, I had some special days. I joined Dongzhou International Educational Exchange Summer Camp.

Every afternoon, we played exciting games: Chinese Whispers, Tongue Twisters, Wheelbarrow, egg and spoon, three legs…

On the last day, we had a good time. We made black tea. We put tea bags, some milk and lots of water in to a big bowl, and then we stirred the tea until it became red and dark. Oh, it tasted good! Later, we used eggs, flour and milk to make many pancakes. To cook them is very interesting. When we finished it, the pancakes looked round and nice. We put some jam on it. How delicious! I won’t ever forget it.

The summer Camp is a really good chance for me. I know the local things in England. I learned a lot and like English more. I also know better ways to learn English well.

渴望在大自然的怀抱里，在慢下来的时光里悠闲生活。看雪白的宣纸上慢慢晕散开来的丹青色，听岁月的流水洗涤心灵，感受轻柔的泉水从指间轻轻流远。在慢下来的时光里，尽情享受生活的美好、心灵的静谧。

慢下来的时光，真美!

人的一生中有许许多多的快乐，但也有许多的不如意，那些挫折令人头疼，但我们就生活在挫折之中。挫折陪伴我们成长，我们在挫折中长大。

在我刚刚步入初二这个新的年级时，国庆也即将来临，我与我的同学们被幸运的选为国庆阅兵式背景表演人员，我们将经历长时间的训练，当然，其中就包含着许许多多的挫折。

刚刚开始训练的时候还是炎热的夏天，我们顶着烈日站立在操场上，汗水在每一位同学的脸颊上密布着，大家的衣服都湿透了，有些人被晒得晕倒，但没有人退缩。我们一张张白嫩的脸都被晒黑了，头发被烤得烫手，但我们还是坚持了下来，因为这是祖国交给我们的任务。国庆训练中的挫折还不止这些。训练时间很短，所以我们必须加强训练的强度，这很累，但我们必须坚持。

天气总与我们为敌。我们训练时总是有雨来相伴，最严重的就要数机场合练了。我们刚到机场时，雨已经在下了，当我们开始训练时，雨更加的大了，我们的雨衣都快扛不住那些多而密的雨点了，雨衣外，雨衣里都是水，我们的脸上也早已布满了那一个个冰冷的水珠，但我们要坚持，为了祖国，我们必须坚持，不怕挫折，努力坚持。我听到有人喊：兄弟们，挺住啊，胜利就在前方!许多听到这句话的人都笑了，我也笑了，不过，这句话也坚定了我战胜挫折的决心。

终于，我们迎来了国庆阅兵式，解放军战士托着国旗，拿着枪从我们身边经过，坦克和装甲车从我们眼前驶过，直升机和战斗机在我们头顶上呼啸而过，而我们依然认真地翻着手中的道具花。终于，最后一幅图翻完了，在大家齐声高喊：祖国万岁后，国庆阅兵式结束了。我们战胜了挫折，取得了胜利，我们在挫折中成长了。

记得以前练习骑自行车时，也经历了许多挫折，无数次的摔倒，我又无数次的爬起，我学会了骑车，只因为我有一颗敢于面对挫折，并努力战胜挫折的心。

挫折围绕在我们身边，我们在挫折中成长，只要你敢于面对挫折，有信心战胜挫折，你就将不会因挫折而烦恼，挫折会在你面前低下头。
