爸爸曾经给我讲过“年”的故事，年是一种怪兽，每到大年初一，年就出来吃人。据说，年有三怕：怕光、怕声、怕红颜色。刚刚听完这个故事，我就吵吵嚷嚷地说：“爸爸，咱们赶快去买春联、爆竹吧！要不然我会一整晚睡不好的，因为我怕有十几头年在我们家转悠！”爸爸不慌不忙地说：“好！我们现在就去！”爸爸刚说完，我就兴奋得一蹦三尺高。我们骑着三轮车行驶在黑蒙蒙的大街上。这让我感到好像有几个年已经靠近我了。

在这之前，人们早就准备好了迎接这一天，家家户户放爆竹、贴画鸡、贴门神、贴春联、贴福字、贴窗花、贴年画等等，春节的习俗可多啦！新年的初一，男人们都早早起来，穿上最漂亮的衣服，打扮得整整齐齐，出门去走亲访友，相互拜年，恭祝来年大吉大利。。拜年的方式多种多样，有的是同族长带领若干人挨家挨户地拜年；有的是同事相邀几个人去拜年；也有大家聚在一起相互祝贺，称为“团拜”。由于登门拜年费时费力，后来一些上层人物和士大夫便使用名贴相互投贺，由此发展出后来的“贺年片”，春节拜年时，晚辈要先给长辈拜年，祝长辈人长寿安康，长辈可将事先准备好的压岁钱分给晚辈，据说压岁钱可以压住邪祟，因为“岁”与“祟”谐音，晚辈得到压岁钱就可以平平安安度过一岁。压岁钱有两种，一种是以彩绳穿线编作龙形，置于床脚，此记载见于《燕京岁时记》；另一种是最常见的，即由家长用红纸包裹分给孩子的钱。压岁钱可在晚辈拜年后当众赏给，亦可在除夕夜孩子睡着时，由家长偷偷地放在孩子的枕头底下。现在长辈为晚辈分送压岁钱的习俗仍然盛行。

但为什么要过年呢?以前我是不知道，看了《十万个为什么》才知道，原来过年是我国最隆重、历史最悠久传统节日。没逢过年，人们都要举行辞旧岁、迎新春活动。为了节日快乐和热闹，还要放鞭炮、玩狮子、舞龙灯等等。

为了祝贺新一年里品感和健康，人们采用了拜年形式向长辈和老人拜年。我在过年时就去过农科院、宝塔山、北大桥等地方，向亲戚和老人拜年。总之，我在过年时，玩得特别开心。

A little monkey picks up a pumpkin and wants to take it home.But the pumpkin is toobig.The monkey cant take it home.

Suddenly he sees a panda riding a bike towards him. He watches the bike. "l have a good idea. I can roll the pumpkin. It likes a wheel."

So he rolls the pumpkin to his home. When his mother sees the big pumpkin, she is surprised and says, "How can you carry it home?" The little monkey answers proudly, "l cant lift it, but l can roll it." His mother smiles and says, " What a clever boy!"

春节里，一定发生过许多趣事，而最让我难忘的就是炖鸡蛋！

一天，我决定做炖鸡蛋。我拿着鸡蛋一敲，里面那美味可口的鸡蛋飞快地流出来，我决定先用筷子搅一搅。这时，妈妈见我“可怜”，便来帮我，说：“来，放点水在鸡蛋里面。”我除了知道搅一搅，还知道什么呢？便只好依照她说的做了，“再放点油和盐。”我便放了点油和盐。“好了，放到微波炉里加热。”“呜，呜，呜…”微波炉转动起来，我在微波炉前焦急地等待着，一分钟，二分钟，三分钟…“叮，叮，叮…”呀！我的炖鸡蛋好了！我连忙打开微波炉，把手伸进去，呀，烫死我了！嘻嘻，我差点忘了，很烫的，我连忙拿起布，把炖鸡蛋拿了出来。我尝了一口，味道不错，但是比爸爸做的还是差了一点。

今天，我终于吃到我亲手做的炖鸡蛋了，真是太有趣也太有意义了！

I went to Beijing on vacation with my parents last month and we stayed there for a week.

To my surprise, Beijing is such a modern city that my parents and I all admire the development of it these years. We visited many wonderful places there, such as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. What impressed me most was that people there were all very friendly and some of them could even speak Enlish. But still I think that there are some problems of this city, which I dislike. Those are too many people there and the heavy traffic. If there were fewer people and less traffic, it would be better.

我最喜欢过春节了，因为平时爸爸妈妈和姑姑都上班，所以只有到过年的时候我们家里才是人最齐，也是最热闹的时候了。

记得春节，我们一家人忙着蒸馒头、炸丸子、贴春联、挂灯笼，可开心了!最难忘的就是全家人过年一起包饺子了。奶奶说：“开始包饺子了!”我和妹妹就赶紧洗干净手，开开心心的跑到厨房去抢擀面杖。因为我们两个人最喜欢擀饺子皮了，最后我决定自己用大擀面杖，妹妹用小擀面杖。我们俩擀的可快了，还能一次擀两个饺子皮呢，奶奶、妈妈和姑姑包都包不完，直夸我们俩真能干。

接着就是包钱饺子的时候了。奶奶把一个硬币洗的干干净净的准备包到饺子里，对我们说：“谁吃到钱饺子就是有福气，来年的好运都会到来。”我连忙说：“既然是好福气，那我们为什么不多包一些钱饺子，每人都能吃到那该多好呀!”最后我和妹妹都提议要多包几个钱饺子，奶奶拗不过我们，最终还是答应了。饺子包好了，锅也开了，爷爷负责煮饺子，爸爸赶快拿出大大的鞭炮摆放在院子里，一边煮饺子一边听着噼里啪啦的鞭炮声，我和妹妹高兴的手舞足蹈。饺子煮好了，我们一边看着春节晚会一边吃年夜饭，最后我们每个人都吃到了钱饺子，真是开心极了!

快乐的春节真是让我难忘，我的福气会让我在新的一年里好好学习，天天向上!
