就这样摔倒爬起了无数次，我终于学会了骑自行车。我也可以和别的小朋友快乐地一起骑自行车了。

“嘿嘿嘿嘿，哈哈哈哈......”这恐怖的笑声出自小马同学之口，难道是她又有了什么阴谋？错！其实是她们班要举行一次有史以来最伟大的活动--口语竞赛！

为了能在这此口语竞赛中能大展风采，小马同学，也就是我，作了充足的准备......

首先是稿子，平时自认为作文不错的我一气儿写了15篇（其实只需要一篇），然后镜挑细选，选出最“神圣”的稿子。再加以润色修改，一篇“惊天动地”的稿子就出世了！！！

但，一个很重要的问题飘进了我的脑中：

尽管稿子很好，但如果从我那不伦不类的嗓子中出来，那岂不是一朵鲜花插在了牛粪上？于是我苦练嗓子，直到哑了为止（后来真得哑了，好后悔）。

现在只能做一件事——等！在我等的花都谢了的时候，总算是盼到了口语竞赛那天。

正当我要大展身手的时候，老师病了。于是，我做出了我这辈子最大的决定——祈祷：玉帝，王母娘娘，耶稣，主啊，保佑老师块好吧......不过还好由班长主持大局。

我是第六个出场的，快轮到我的时候，我的心由走到跑，由跑到奔，由奔到以美洲豹的速度狂奔，最后居然停了！

轮到我了，我本想脸上带着微笑，迈着自信的脚步，闪亮登场。可是，腿却有一点抖，脸上也不知道是什么表情。到了台上后，大脑一片空白，完全把那篇精彩的稿子给忘了。只好东拉西扯，生编硬造，草草结尾。嗓音也很有特点：哑了还带有哭腔还有点颤音。

回到座位后，我那颗一直在高空飞翔的心总算回到了地面。可想而知，我没拿到名次。

不过，我，即使输得在惨，也证明了自己！

My mom used to say that I was born to swim. But the truth is that I didn t know how to swim until the last year of my primary school!

Mom always said that I could swim in the basin when I was only two months old. I was surprised at the amazing fact. If this was true, then why was I afraid of water? I went to swim every summer, but I didn t make a little progress. I was worried and blamed myself several times. When I watched people swimming freely, how I wished I had learnt to swim!

The story of how I learnt to swim is dramatic. One hot summer afternoon, my father and I went to the swimming pool to swim. 一件最令我难忘的事是我在一次考试中不幸失败。那次失败在我幼小的心灵上刻下了一条深深的痕迹。

那一天很热，我们正在进行语文单元测试，一道填写反义词的题挡住了我正要往下写的笔。我在反复回忆老师讲过的词，但是，怎么也想不出我要填写的词。时间一分一秒过去了，我不能老停笔想这道题，只好往下做其他的题目。好不容易我把全部题都做了，又回转过来再想反义词，后来总算填写了几个词。随后，我还来不及把试卷检查一遍，铃响了。我只好按时停笔，把试卷交了上去。我们把试卷交上去后，我后面的一位同学问我：“罗春妮，那题缩写你怎么做的？我不知做得对不对。”我听了觉得很奇怪，哪里有缩写？一问同学们，都说：“有啊，难道你没做吗？”我听了大吃一惊。我少做了一道题，怎么办呢？我坐立不安，心想：完了，这下完了，这次肯定考分很少了，叫我怎么面对父母、老师和同学啊！

第二天，试卷发下来了，老师在报分数了。他的声音像一块块石头敲在我的心上。同学们都考得好，我却考得不好啊！泪水不由自主地在我的眼眶里打起转儿来。更倒霉的是老师要我们把试卷拿回家给家长签字。我几乎没有勇气往下想了。

回到家里，不敢把试卷给父母看。晚上，我含泪向爸爸妈妈说出了我这次测试的分数。他们看了我的试卷后，并没有责怪我。爸爸指着我没做的那道题，问我是不是不会做，为什么一个字也没有写。我说是因为时间紧，没有看到那道题，爸爸和妈妈安慰了我，叫我以后过细看题。“这次没考好，下次努力，就行了。”妈妈擦着我脸上的眼泪，语重心长地要求我。“你知道吗？失败是成功之母呢！”爸爸也赶着补了一句。我听了爸爸、妈妈的这些话，我心里明亮多了。
