走了好一阵子，终于看到了一座高大雄伟的开平碉楼——迎龙楼。它建于明嘉靖年间，坐西北向东南。也许是因为随着时代的变迁的缘故，迎龙楼外面原本光鲜亮丽的油漆差不多都掉光了，只剩下了土黄色的砖头，但是迎龙楼的构造还依稀可见。我抚摸着迎龙楼上的炮口、枪口。好像看见了当年血肉横飞的战争场面：一大群武装到牙齿的侵略军手持机关枪，戴着防弹头盔，拉着一辆辆大炮，来到迎龙楼前，准备占领这里。坚强不屈的战士们手持小米加步枪，藏在迎龙楼里，异常勇猛地向敌人进攻。这场战争持续了大约十多个小时，侵略军最终不敌战士们，败下阵来，落荒而逃。迎龙楼被打的全身是洞，遍体鳞伤，但它却大大减少战士们的伤亡。可以说，是迎龙楼保护了他们，帮助了他们，不，是帮助了这个村子里的所有人。我们要感谢迎龙楼的存在，更要感谢建设迎龙楼的先辈们，如果没有他们，也许就没有我们今天幸福安逸的生活了。

“哎，真热呀！”我望着天空中火红火红的太阳，不禁想起了为我做的绿豆汤。

那天，我像往常一样回到家中，便看到母亲正在淘洗绿豆，母亲先将绿豆放入水中洗了一遍又一遍，好像怕没洗干净似的，洗好了以后又在光下照了照，我看着光下妈妈的脸，依旧白皙，却不似往前那般细腻光滑，脸上也俨然有了几条皱纹。想到妈妈为细心的照顾我都有些衰老了，心里一阵感动。妈妈确定洗干净了，才放到一个专门煮汤的电磁炉中。我看她那么认真，便坐在一旁静静地看着她。

再谈谈洗碗的过程。把碗拿到水池上去，用一块布，布上挤些洗洁精，然后一只碗一只碗地洗，最好是将碗一边转去一边洗，这样会洗得干净些，还记得有一次，我一边洗碗一边哼着歌，前几只碗都洗好清好了。最后一只时，我因为太高兴了想玩个空中接盘游戏，刚把盘子扔出去，眼看盘子就要接住了，可是因为我手上还有洗洁精，滑滑的，盘子到手边后却滑落到了地上，只听“哐当”一声，盘子碎了，我见状赶紧收拾起来，最后还是被妈妈批评了一顿，妈妈指责我做事不能粗心大意。通过这件事我明白了，做任何事不能吊儿郎当。从那以后我洗碗就没有摔破过。

最后一件事就是烧饭。去年暑假我在刘老师那儿学书法，中饭也在刘老师那儿吃的，自然而然用电饭锅做饭的任务就交给了我，原本我也是不会做饭的，是吴阿姨的指导下我学会了做饭。阿姨同我说，电饭锅里放多少米，就要相应的加多少水，水不能太多也不能太少，水太多烧出来的饭会太软，水太少则饭太硬，只有加入合适的水量才能做出可口的米饭。经过一个暑假的反复练习，我熟练掌握了用电饭锅做饭的技巧。但是这仅仅是烧饭的一部分，要是再学会烧菜、做面条、烧蛋炒饭就更好了。以后如果爸爸妈妈不在家，我就可以自己烧着吃，爸妈就不用担心我会饿肚子了。其实我很早就想学烧菜、烧面等等，一直没有时间去学，这个暑假我一定学会烧菜。

But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough， most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

On the whole， the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government， the public and the environmentalists.
