new high school life is both exciting and challenging for me. first, im in a new environment with my new teachers and new classmates. many of them are all from top middle schools in the area. im so excited to meet them all. the new school building is designed creatively and attractively. i loved it . my new teachers are nice and them teach very weel. they are always willing to answer my questions at the end of the class. second, i have to take some new subjects and choose some subjects myself. i liked that because it gives students freedom and i can develop more in my areas of interest. third, im glad to join into some of the clubs and activities in my school. they are very interesting and i could learn more social experience through those activities. im proud to be in this new school and i wish that i can unleash my potential and achieve my best in this school.

The New Life A few months ago, I was a primary pupil. I had many good friends and teachers that I remember all the time. My new life is very exciting. I’m in Dongzhou Middle School. It’s famous in Jiangsu. It’s bigger and more beautiful than the primary school. I love it very much. I’m in Cla10, Grade 7. It’s a good class. The students are clever, nice, friendly and helpful. I have a lovely family and my families live a happy life. My mother is a farmer.She is fat,but she is beautiful.She has big eyes,a small nose and a small mouth.She is very kind and clever, so she has many friends and she is welcome among my neighbours. My father is a worker. He works long time a day and comes home late. He is always tired.But,my mother often cooks delicious dishes for him and that makes him happy and moved. As for my mother, she regards it as her happiness. I love my parents, although we do not live a rich life, but we are satisfied.

今天是我们星海学校的快乐日，我们举办的活动有：做游戏、吃食、看露天电影。

早上吃完饭后，老师让学生们站好队。听校方老师宣布“快乐日”的流程：上午做游戏，下午烧烤，晚上看露天电影。我们大家都非常开心，希望游戏快点开始。老师宣布完后，我们迅速跑到指定位置。老师分组，我们匇班正好30人，老师说：“10人一组，等一会儿每组选出赢家去那边参赛。”老师又说：“游戏有：喊数抱团、萝卜蹲、各位好汉请抱拳。”老师挑了几个人演示一下，然后老师有待我们做了第一个游戏——喊数抱团。其它两个游戏让我们自己玩，我们男生想闹笑话。玩萝卜蹲的时候，我们男生给自己起了各种怪名字，我给自己起了个“火腿肠”的名字。有的男生起名叫齐天大圣，还有的起名叫猪头……女生们气的要吐血，因为她们是班里最爱管纪律的。我们接下来开始玩第三个游戏：各位好汉请抱拳。本来是：别人请你喝酒，你就说：“不会喝酒。”我偏要说成“拿酒来！”

下午，开始吃零食，刘欣雨把这招学了，俺们请他喝酒，他说拿酒来。我们都把牛奶倒在他头上，我们都哈哈大笑。今天真是玩疯了……

晚上吃完饭又开始看露天电影，电影的名字叫《冲出亚马逊》，同学们看完都不停的鼓掌，因为这部电影里的那些人真勇敢。

这一天真快乐呀！同时也感谢老师们的辛苦付出，带给我们这么多的快乐。

I was happy this summer holiday! Do you know why? Because I had enjoyed a good summer holiday! In the morning, sometimes I went toYueXiuParkto play badminton with my families or friends. We always went to McDonalds to have lunch after we finish the game. My sister and me like swimming, so in the afternoon, we went to swimming with our father. It was so cool! It feels so great to swim in such hot summer days.
