第一，要交诚实守信的朋友。诚实守信是做人的根本，一个人不守信用，那就相当于没有了品德。而且如果交这些朋友的话，自己也会比较诚实。诚实，主要体现在赴约的时候，如果本来两个人约好的时间见面的话，但是他（她）却没有来，就失信了，这样的朋友不值得交。

第二，要交与自己的性格相符合的朋友。交朋友，如果你们性格不和，那就经常会在一些事情上产生分歧，就会经常吵架，这样的友谊并不长久。
