愚者错失机会，智者善抓住机会，成功者创造机会，机会只是给准备好的人。机遇真是“神奇”，它能给“山穷水尽疑无路”的人带来“柳暗花明又一村”的喜悦;它能让商人散尽千金“还复重来”……。“机遇”说起来很神奇，其实它经常出现在我们的身边，而智者能发现它、利用它走向成功。愚人往往错过它却抱怨命运的不公平。其原因就在于机遇只偏爱有准备的头脑，有准备的头脑才能辨识和把握机遇。

中国有句古话：台上一分钟，台下十年功。我们常羡慕别人的机遇好，羡慕命运对别人的青睐、羡慕别人的成功。却没有看到誉耀和鲜花背后所付出的千辛和万苦，甚至要付出眼泪和鲜血。如：航天英雄杨利伟为什么能成为中国航天第一人?中国航天员的选拔要经过“过五关斩六将”的层层考验和选拔，杨利伟之所以能够顺利地过了一关又一关，最终赢得了飞天梦想的机会，这与他从小对自己严格求，天生是个不甘落后的人有着直接的关系。每次的训练他都是全身心地投入，他以自己严肃认真的精神和熟练的技术赢得了教员的称赞，把一切做得精益求精，杨利伟优秀的训练成绩和综合素质，才被光荣地选为“神舟”五号航天飞行员。所以我们想要成功，想抓住机遇，就得从现在开始，像杨利伟那样脚踏实地的在大学中好好学习，认真专研科学技术理论，努力实践，增长才干，做好准备。当机遇轻轻地叩响门扉时，我们就会沉着地应和一声，踩着它的节拍，踏上自己的舞台。千万不要眼睁睁地看着它，在悠忽之间，从你身边姗姗飘过，而你却无能为力。

没有耕耘就没有收获，有人把科学家重大发现、发明的原因归结为偶然的机遇，这实在是一个谬误。法国著名微生物学家巴斯德指出：“在观察的领域里，机遇只偏爱那种有准备的头脑”。试想，如果费莱明不是一个细菌学专家，或者对葡萄菌没有经历数年的研究，或者粗心大意，把发了霉的培养液随手倒掉了，那他还能成为青霉素的发现者吗?试想，爱迪生如果不是通过无数次试验，证明上千种材料不能作灯丝，并一直倾心于此项研究，又怎能发现适合做灯丝的钨呢?

机不可失，时不再来。再如：姜子牙磐溪垂钓数十载才迎来文王的青睐，辅佐周武王攻下殷商的都城镐京,灭了荒淫无道、沉溺酒色的纣王，建立了周氏王朝;诸葛亮高卧隆中数十载，方换来刘玄德“三顾茅庐”隆中对，进而辅佐刘备三分天下。试想，姜太公成就的取得难道仅仅是因为与文王的偶然相遇吗?孔明三分天下的成功难道只是因为刘备偶然听到传闻而三顾茅庐吗?非也，其实他们在机遇到来之前早已胸中韬略万千，他们的头脑早已做好把握机遇的准备。机会总是垂青有准备的人。

现实生活中有些人总是坐着等机遇，躺着喊机遇，睡着梦机遇，做“守株待兔”的人。殊不知如果这样，机遇就会像满天星斗，可望而不可及，即使机遇真的来到身边。他也发现不了，更不用说去捕捉和利用了。

机遇只偏爱有准备的头脑，能否抓住机遇、利用机遇，关键在于人们知识文化思想等多方面的准备，在于勤奋努力。朋友，你准备好了吗?准备好你的头脑，去抓住机遇、利用机遇，获得成功吧!

今天我们踏进了大学的门槛，这里就是给我们做好准备的地方。我想我一定要克服中学时的懒惰，克服自己的任性，克服不爱惜时间的毛病。有句古诗写得好：

我们要细细体会这震耳发聩的《明日歌》，认真理解它的深刻含义，牢牢把握住今天，珍惜当下的大学学习机会，把老师教授的学识和智慧的口袋统统掏空，装进我们的脑袋，成为我们牢牢抓住机遇的巨手，成为我们学以致用的利器。

大学生活是多姿多彩的，但也需要我们把握和深入体会。开朗却不失内涵，野性却不失优雅，自信却不自负，张扬却不狂妄，是我追求的性格。简单冲动、意志不坚定、思想不成熟，是我要克服的弱点。“人生豪迈，年轻没有失败”是我对青春的誓言。青春是我们最宝贵的财富，是我们胆大妄为的资本，是我们异想天开的来源。要想充分挖掘青春的宝藏，那就要好好学习，充实自己。在工作中学习，在教室里学习，在失败中学习，在别人身上学习。

既然我们选择了这所大学，就应该脚踏实地、认真地学习。有人在网络中麻醉自己，逃避现实，填补内心的空虚，但离开网吧，空虚依旧，现状并没有改变。真正能解救你的人只有你自己，药方是学会接受，没有办法改变世界，那就改变自己吧。珍惜你现在所拥有的，最大限度的利用学校的资源，不要让它掠夺你大把的青春，留给你一个大大的遗憾。要知道，大学给你的价值是你自己创造的。

American eating is funny. They eat almost everything with a fork, and it appears that holding a knife in ones right hand longer than a few seconds is considered to be against good table manners.

The system is that if it is absolutely necessary to use a knife, people take the fork in their left hand, and cut off a piece of meat or whatever it is in the normal manner. Then they put the knife down, transfer the fork to their right hand, and only then do they transport the food to their mouth. This is clearly ludicrous(滑稽可笑), but it is considered good manners.

There are several results of this system. First, if it is not absolutely necessary to use a knife, Americans dont use one, because obviously this greatly complicates(使复杂化) things, and you will therefore see them trying to cut things like potatoes, fish and even bacon(熏猪肉) with a fork. Second, towards the end of a course, since only one implement(器具) is being used, food has to bo chased around the plate with the fork - and for the last mouthful the thumb has to be used to keep the food in place, although one is not supposed to do this.

Third, tables are generally laid with one knife and two forks, the outside fork being for the salad. There is no need for foreign visitors to follow the American system and try to eat the salad with only a fork, but if you do use your knife, remerber to save it for the meat course. Even desserts(甜食) (except ice cream) are eaten with a fork if at all possible, and the spoon you see by your dessert is meant to be for coffee (but if you use it for your dessert no one will say anything).

I am . I was born in Changsha. I graduate from senior high school and major in English. I started learning English since I was 12 years old. My parents have a lot of American friends. That’s why I have no problem communicating with Americans or others by speaking English.

In my spare time, I like to do anything relating to English such as listening to English songs, watching English movies or TV programs, or even attending the activities held by some English clubs or institutes. I used to go abroad for a short- term English study. During that time, I learned a lot of daily life English and saw a lot of different things.

I think language is very interesting. I could express one substance by using different sounds. So I wish I could study and read more English literatures and enlarge my knowledge.
