On Spring festivals eve,the whole family prepare the dinner.Of course,dumplings is essential.In the

evening,family members always sit at the television and watch Spring Festival Gala.At 0:00,people set off firecrackers and fireworks,at the same time,children pay New Year,s call to old people.The old people give money to the children as a lunar new year gift.Usually,people stay up late or all night.

On lunar New Years Day, the Chinese family eat vegetarian dumplings which imply they will plain and neat in this year. People change their new clothes,this stands for a new beginning.Next,people visit relatives with some gifts.The second day is son-in-laws festival,the husband and married women visit their side of the family.In a word,Chinese attach great importance to Spring Festival.

With the coming of National Day, I have a one week holiday. I really expect to it, because I want to have a short trip during these days. I will travel to JiuzhaiValley with my parents for three days. I have heard that the scenery of JiuzhaiValley is very beautiful in autumn and it’s the best time to travel there. Autumn is my most favorite season so I want to enjoy the beauty of such a wonderful place. I do some preparations for this trip. For example, I search the Internet to see the travel raiders and I have known where the most attracting place is and where to live in. I am sure it will be a wonderful journey. There are only several days for the coming trip, but I have been too excited to wait.

随着国庆节的到来，我有一个星期的假期。我真的很期待，因为我想要在这几天有一次短途旅行。我将和我的父母去九寨沟三天。我听说秋天的时候九寨沟的风景最美，秋天是去那旅游最好的季节。秋天是我最喜欢的季节所以我想要去这样美丽的地方去享受美景。我为这次旅行做了一些准备。比如说，我在网上搜索了旅游导航，我知道最有吸引力的地方是哪里以及住在哪里。我确信这将是一次奇妙的旅程。还有几天旅行就要到来了，可是我已经兴奋得等不及了。

我国有许多传统节日，比如元宵节，重阳节，端午节。但最盛大隆重的节日莫过于春节了。

Waking up on New Year, everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to

their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in

red paper. People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for

breakfast, as they think "jiaozi" in sound means "bidding farewell to the old

and ushering in the new". Also, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot

from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure.

Southern Chinese eat niangao (New Year cake made of glutinous rice flour)

on this occasion, because as a homophone, niangao means "higher and higher, one

year after another." The first five days after the Spring Festival are a good

time for relatives, friends, and classmates as well as colleagues to exchange

greetings, gifts and chat leisurely.

China has 56 ethnic groups. Minorities celebrate their Spring Festival

almost the same day as the Han people, and they have different customs.

A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of  a new year，I cant help thinking about my plan of next year.

Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success.”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，Im quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others.

But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible. While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it.

The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is

observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an

exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half

a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung

up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival

atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional

decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up

Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

过年喽!过年喽!家家户户都忙着贴春联，放鞭炮，好不热闹!

我家也不例外，爸爸忙着贴春联。你瞧，上联然而春安夏太，然后下联然而秋吉冬祥。忽然我看见爸爸把福贴倒了，我忙喊：“福倒啦，福倒啦”。我这才恍然大悟，原先福倒了就然而福到了的谐音啊!

贴完了春联，该吃年夜饭了，我坐在饭桌旁，看着这些美味家肴，垂涎三尺。最后开饭了，我狼吞虎咽，好不费力气就把一碗饭消灭了，大家看着我这狼狈样，哈哈大笑。该敬酒了，我端起酒杯对爷爷说“祝您福如东海长流水。”之后我又祝奶奶寿比南山不老松。然后我学着大人的样貌，喝一口，咂砸嘴，好酒好酒。爷爷笑呵呵地说：“我们的小乖孙子长大了，会用对联了。”奶奶脸上笑得乐开了花，说：“祝我们的小孙子学习进步，天天向上。”

吃完年夜饭，我们心满意足的离看饭桌。来到了院子，然后就看见夜空被好多烟花划破，真然而比星星还亮啊!爸爸也搬出了花炮和许多的烟花，爸爸顺手拿起了一个窜天猴，嘭，啪，说时迟，那然而快，窜天猴直奔夜空，顿时变成了一朵美丽的烟花，飘向了银河……然后我也手痒的拿了一个小闪光棒，不停的摇转，散出了无数的小星星……突然一个烟花哑了，过了1，2分钟还没炸，爸爸不耐烦了，拿起竹杆就捅，可竹杆刚碰到花炮，就突然炸了，爸爸的眼镜吓得滑了下来，我看到爸爸这样貌，笑得人仰马翻。同时，我也记住：笑归笑，乐归乐，然后但要记住安全。

放完鞭炮该爬门了，听说这样会长高，我每年都爬门。炮放过了，然后门也爬了，该拿红包了，爷爷给了我一个红包，神秘的对我说：“必须要放在枕头下哦，这样能够给你带来好运!”

该回家了，我和爷爷奶奶一一告别。一路的烟花照亮了我们回家的路……
