First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. 十二月三十，正月初一到正月十五是春节。春节有许多民俗，比如拜年、放鞭炮、拿压岁钱……

春节的来历是因为一个故事。除夕节那天，有个叫年的怪兽来村里捣乱。年的样子很凶猛。这时，有一位老人走进了村子。老婆婆连忙劝他赶紧去山上躲避年兽，可是老人却不紧不慢地说：“你若让我在家呆一夜，我一定会把年赶走的。”半夜时分，年又闯进了村里，发现老婆婆家门口贴着红对联，年吓了一跳。突然，院子里传来了噼里啪啦的鞭炮声，年吓得拔腿就跑。村民们回到村里，看见里面安然无恙，老婆婆向村民们诉说了这一切。那天年被吓跑后，再也没有出现。村民们过着安居乐业的生活。

从此，人们每年春节都要放鞭炮，贴对联……
