first, by traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. we will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots.

second, we will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel. we can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people, taste different foods and local flavours if we like. in this way, we can understand how differently other people live.

third, travel will not only help us to gain knowledge of geography and history and other knowledge, which will arouse our deeplove :for our m0therland, but also will help us keep healthy and make us less narrow-minded. travel does benefit us both mentally and physically.

ShenZhen is the youngest city of China. Though it has a history of 7,000 years, its true development didnt start until 1980 when China start its refom and openging policy, so I believe most of of the Chinese will recognize it as the youngest city. I love traveling. Traveling not only broadens my horizons but also opens my eyes to the world. Whats more, it refreshes me. Today, I went to drive in Monument Valley. We almost bumped our butts off. We made our own monument. We went in Monticello to go tothe restroom. It was a science lab. I copied a wolf on a computer. Today, I hiked on a trail in Arches national Park. It was the longest trail I ever hiked on. It was a rocky and dangerous mountain. I was extra exhausted. When I was at the top, WOW! It was an arch called Delicate Arch. It looks like Athena looking over everybody’s eyes to see if they are obeying rules. How can a loose little arch stand so high. So today was a miracle.

Summer comes , and the weather has become irritating. My big sister suggested going to Hainan for a good relax. I thought about it for a while and agreed. Hainan is really a good place, where palm trees are abundant.

We went to a park where we enjoyed cool palm drinks. We also went to visit the monkey island. The monkeys were really cute to look at.

It is universally acknowledged that tour can make people feel happy; traveling is a good way to relax oneself. Tourist data shows that people in China made a great contribution to the world tourism, and it’s more and more popular for people to go out for vocation. Though reports criticized that tourism had brought harm to the environment, I still believe in the rising pace of tourism.

Well, there is no denying that at this moment, tourism has caused some problem to the environment, but what I want to emphasize is that such damage are raised by people, as long as we improve the environmental consciousness of our citizens, as well as perfect the public facilities, such as adding more dustbins to convenience tourists; building cafeterias to offer meals to them. It is good for us to go out to feel different culture atmosphere, and to see different local conditions and customs, but remember, protect our nature resources.

Last winter holiday, I went to Harbin with my mother. It‘s very cold in winter. There is snow and ice everywhere and you are always in a white world. You must wear warm clothes. The most exciting thing is playing with snow. Skating is also very interesting there. I will always remember Harbin, for the snow, the ice and all the beautiful things. I love Harbin.
