I like travelling very much， this years winter vacation I went to wuxi，

Shanghai， wuzhen and zhouzhuang， really appreciate the beauty of them!

Wuzhen is the place where I was like， it is so quiet， so has the charm， let

a person fondle admiringly! It has the very big difference and zhouzhuang，

although is "small bridge， flowing water， somebody elses style， but the quiet

wuzhen is zhouzhuang not comparable! Wuzhen is not so busy， zhouzhuang so noisy，

was a great idea. After he had finished school, he immediately ran home to get

materials which were toys and prepared the other things too. When he was ready,

he began to make up a routine. But he couldn’t think of anything except playing;

when it was the day before it was time to put on the show, the little boy still

didn’t come up with any routine; and so he thought and thought. When his parents

said that it was time to go to school to put on the show, the little boy was as

nervous as a chicken in a forest with a wolf beside it.

His parents said that if he couldn’t think of any routine then he will just

have to read a book. The boy had no choice, when he finished he came up with a

routine he went to school just in time for the show.

He loved making a routine by then, from that time on he loved reading, and

when he was bored of playing he began to read.

It was a long four years. Even after I had actually graduated, the

nightmares began to haunt me, the university would call to say I hadn’t truly

graduated. There had been a mistake and there was just one more class I needed

to take. I was always so relieved to wake up and realize that it had only been a

bad dream. In reality, I had completed every course needed for my degree, and I

was a full-fledged college graduate!

Now, the rest of my life loomed ahead of me. Sometimes a bachelor’s degree

prepares you for a specific occupation——you train to be an accountant, you

graduate and get a position in an accounting firm. Often, however, your stint in

college only prepares you to make further decisions regarding your future.

You’re pretty sure what you don’t want to do!

During my senior year of college, I had toyed with the idea of changing my

major. At that point, I had finally discovered what captured my heart. But,

wanting to finally be finishing school was a stronger pull. So, I took a few

courses in physiology and exercise science, but not enough to receive a degree

in physical therapy. That would require advanced schooling, beyond my bachelor’s

degree——and I just wasn’tready to tackle that. Having completed my B.C. degree,

I didn’t have any intentions of furthering my education.

So, I did the safe thing and got an office job——the very thing I was sure

that I didn’t want to do! I detested the office policies, the suits I had to

wear and the downtown environment that I had to drive to every day. I knew this

was not where I belonged.

But god knew what path my career was to follow. A position opened up at the

most exclusive health club in our city, so I applied. This was my kind of

environment——an active, vibrant kind of place——completely at the opposite end of

the spectrum from the office environment where I found myself. The position

required that I work Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. Perfect, I thought! I

could keep my office job Monday through Friday and work at my dream job on the

weekends. This arrangement lasted several months until, eventually, a full-time

position opened up and I was able to resign from my office job.

Over the next few years, I worked my way up the leader, gaining experience

in several different departments. I found my niche as the director of member

services——catering to our clientele and providing them with numerous

cutting-edge programs. I would have stayed at that job forever——it seemed to be

the pinnacle of all my dreams fulfilled. Here were fellow employees who had a

passion for the same things that I did——health and fitness. Yet again, god had

other plans for my life.Within two years, a newer, bigger, better and more

state-of-the-art health club facility was built——just five miles down the road.

And, in turn, the owner lost many members to that club. And, in turn, the owner

lost thousands of dollars. One by one we were each laid off.

After trying unsuccessfully to land another similar position elsewhere, I

knew what I had to do. Go back to school!thanks!

Youth Day (青年节) in the Peoples Republic of China is on May 4. It was

Chinese intellectual revolution and sociopolitical reform movement (1917 –

21)。 In 1915 young intellectuals inspired by Chen Duxiu began agitating for the

reform and strengthening of Chinese society through acceptance of Western

science, democracy, and schools of thought, one objective being to make China

strong enough to resist Western imperialism. On May 4, 1919, reformist zeal

found focus in a protest by Beijings students against the Versailles Peace

Conferences decision to transfer former German concessions in China to Japan.

After more than a month of demonstrations, strikes, and boycotts of Japanese

goods, the government gave way and refused to sign the peace treaty with

Germany. The movement spurred the successful reorganization of the Nationalist

Party and gave birth to the Chinese Communist Party. See also Treaty of

advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?

I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone

should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any

special meaning to you?”

For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2008 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift.

Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the

love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain

is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming

his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning,

however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games wwaving its hand. After

chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic

Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort

to others.

At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and

everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and

give a big smile to challenges.

My idol in my heart is liu xiang. He is the world famous athlete. In all

kinds of game， he has won 50 gold MEDALS， 13 silver and 6 bronze MEDALS.

In the 2004 Athens Olympic Games， he won the mens 110 m hurdles hurdles

world champions at a stroke， become the pride of Chinese people， but also the

pride of Asia.

Because of hard training and competition， liu xiang has left a lot of

injuries， especially tendon injury is serious. In 2008 the Olympic Games， liu

xiang as pain failed to enter the finals， I regret to quit.

He to the United States after treatment， and participated in many

international and domestic competition， repeatedly won the champion， second，

third， also broke the records.

This years London Olympic Games， liu xiang took part in the game again，

sadly he injured in the preliminaries and fell， but he stubbornly stood up， with

one leg hard to jump to the end， he occasionally to stop pain， take a deep

breath.

Although many people have criticized him， because liu xiang out of the race

but I think hes achievements and fight for the honor is the vast majority of

people cant do it. His spirit is worthy of my study.

We both in learning， and doing other things， not to need the indefatigable

spirit?

I am in real life， whenever encounter difficulties to retreat， the thought

of liu xiang， the tenacious spirit， will inspire me to go to overcome. So， he is

my idol in my heart.
