As far as I’m concerned, volunteering is a good way for us to build self-esteem and self-confidence, too. Also, when offering others help, we ourselves will have a sense of satisfaction. Therefore, volunteering is of great benefit not only to others but also to ourselves.

In modern societies, it is increasingly popular that young peopleVolunteeron weekends in the local community service center to help the people in need. If all the youngsters do it in a regular way, the benefits are obvious to both the community and these young adults.It can be argued that the advantages of doing unpaid community service are enormous. 在功课繁重的学习中，图书馆是我进修的好场所，它带给我许多知识。因每天下课常出入图书馆的我;被老师选为小志愿者，心中无比的高兴，因为终于有机会替大众服务了!

当上小志愿者的第一节下课，图书馆一切的事物对我来说;都是一个问号，替别人影印资料时，一不小心!按错一个钮，出纸的地方出现了一张只有资料四分之一的纸，使我得自己掏腰包了。

牺牲午休时间 去图书馆工作的我，更加谨慎的补书，眼见这么多破烂的书，心想“能有这么好的读书环境，竟然不好好珍惜”心中一股气愤涌上心头。一天，在整理书时，见到了 一位在破坏书的人，走上前去原想臭骂他一顿，但一想到孔子说：“道之以政，齐之以刑，民免而无耻。道之以德，齐之以礼，有耻且格。”我也不生气了，只好用 道德来规劝他，才能在没人的时候，也不会再破坏书。

忙碌之余，老师也叫我们看书，以增广见闻。在搬那沉重的书时，其实，想想看，这不但帮老师省麻烦，也增强自己的体力，一举二得，有何不可呢?

身为小志愿者的我，虽然累了一点儿，但替老师分担了许多事物;我也很快乐，因为“助人为快乐之本”呀!

When the bell rang, I came to the class 3 (6). Their top really loud, so I wrote on the blackboard "good to do morning reading, praise". 我每天做梦都想当服务队员，这个星期我终于实现这个梦想了。

我的值位是三(6)班和在一楼黑板报处，看有没有人在奔跑和不能让同学们擦到黑板报。今天，我早早地起床了，本想多睡一下，但一想起我要当服务队员，就立马起床了。

我一出门，看了看天空，好像天还没亮，但我要做服务队员，所以我立刻跑到了学校。

我一到学校交好作业，就到了黑板报处。那里有点冷，但我心里想，我是服务队员，我必须要为大家服务，这点冷怕什么。这时，有一位小朋友走了过来，向我敬了一个不太对的队礼，于是我对这位小同学说：“你敬的队礼不太对。”于是我手把手把教了他一下。这位小同学对我说谢谢。

铃声响了，我来到了三(6)班。他们的读书声可真响亮，于是我在黑板上面写了“早读好、表扬”。我走了一圈，地面没有一点垃圾，于是我在黑板上又写了“地面干净、表扬、服19”。三(6)班的同学读书声越来越响了，可能是因为我写了表扬吧。

这几天的服务让我感到做好服务队员可真不容易啊!
