That was the first time that I celebated Christmas Day. My friend aksed me

to take part in Christmas party. At the party we danced and celebrated with

carols. I knew some new friends. We exchanged gifts and said best wishes to each

other. I had a pleasant time.

There was once a little boy that wanted to be a good captain, but he knew

that he was too poor for that; and so he made up a plan to go a world called

Penny. It was a funny name but he didn’t mind. He also thought that his family

wouldn’t let him to go on such a long trip, for Penny that world was a

hundred100 miles more away. It was a very, very long journey for a boy only 10

years old to do.

He insisted that in the night where nobody could find him gone; and so he

set off in 1981, where he could find some kind people in New York. He got his

purse, and set off on his journey a day before the year; he went off at March,

starting with bare feet; he met on his way a little girl wishing so much for

money, and he picked up his purse; but found out that he had but only a little

bit of copper coins, there was not enough for her.

He stopped a while for about 10 days to find a job to earn money; he was

always kind, and was willing to help others when they are in need. At last he

got 100 cents with was 100 silver coins, and that paid the little girl

wealthily, he still kept the copper coins in emergencies.

After two more days of journeying, he found a place where it was icy and

cold, he knew that he couldn’t make it to Penny in time, and, so, made a

comfortable shelter to stay in until spring; where he came out happily, and

started off in 1982. When he at last reached Penny, he found a good job, and

paid it off with the copper coins.

He preferred the money to his whole family, and got $100 in return to the

kind people with which helped him when he was like, in trouble or something

like. That, it was good that nobody ever questioned him where he was that whole

time when he went back; but he was still glad that he got to help his family.

When he recovered, he felt a little bit sad, and lay down; the next morning when

his parents came into his recovering house to take him home to rest and play,

they found his two hands clasped on his white covered sheet bed, as if dead.

This place comes where his parents were shocked; they knew that this was

the boy’s last sleep, the cried bitterly all night long, while there was still a

smile on the hero’s face.

My birthday is on Sunday. My parents are going to have a birthday party at

home. I invite my friends to come to the party.

At the party. They give me many small presents. Such as cards, picture

books, pens.

They sing Happy Birthday to me. My mother makes a big cake for me. I cut

the cake into small pieces and give them out. we sing and dance.

We have a good time at the party.

Today is Childrens Day. Early in the morning, I feel so excited, because I

know the teachers have prepared some surprised for us. We dont have class and

My new teacher is science teacher. He’s very strong. He

Both President Bush and Secretary of State Powell have expressed their sincere regret over your missing pilot and aircraft. Please convey to the Chinese people and to the family of pilot Wang Wei that we are very sorry for their loss. Although the full picture of what transpired is still unclear, according to our information, our severely crippled aircraft made an emergency landing after following international emergency procedures. We are very sorry the entering of Chinas airspace and the landing did not have verbal clearance, but very pleased the crew landed safely.

We appreciate Chinas efforts to see to the well-being of our crew. In view of the tragic incident and based on my discussions with your representatives, we have agreed to the following actions:

Both sides agree to hold a meeting to discuss the incident. My government understands and expects that our air crew will be permitted to depart China as soon as possible.

The meeting would be April 18, 2001.

The meeting agenda would include discussions of the causes of the incident, possible recommendations whereby such collisions could be avoided in the future, development of a plan for prompt return of the EP-3 aircraft, and other related issues. Dear Sir,

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

Now I am ten years old, I always wish I can grow up soon, so that I can

make my own money. With the money, I can travel around the world and learn a lot

of culture. I want to know more about the world. So I have read many books about

little boy didn’t like reading; at last became so nervous in his show that he

had to read a book that soon became a famous writer.

There was once a little boy that loved to play, but the only thing he

didn’t like was to read a book. When he was bored of playing, he did not go to

read a book, but to play video games. One day his parents became sick of this

habit and so thought of a plan to make him like reading.

And so one day when school was over, the boy’s parents went to his school,

and found his teacher and said, “Dear teacher, I am wondering if by any chance

you could help us with a little small problem.”

The teacher agreed, and so they told them their problem. The teacher

remembered all that she needed to do, and waited until Friday arrived. When it

was the last class of the day, she told the whole class that each one of them is

going to put on a show for the whole school. The little boy thought that that

was a great idea. After he had finished school, he immediately ran home to get

materials which were toys and prepared the other things too. When he was ready,

he began to make up a routine. But he couldn’t think of anything except playing;

when it was the day before it was time to put on the show, the little boy still

didn’t come up with any routine; and so he thought and thought. When his parents

said that it was time to go to school to put on the show, the little boy was as

nervous as a chicken in a forest with a wolf beside it.

His parents said that if he couldn’t think of any routine then he will just

have to read a book. The boy had no choice, when he finished he came up with a

routine he went to school just in time for the show.

He loved making a routine by then, from that time on he loved reading, and

when he was bored of playing he began to read.

After and few years he became famous and was very proud of that day’s

lesson.
