公务员受到毕业生大规模青睐的理由包括：稳定、工作压力小、薪酬待遇中上，但上岗竞争空前激烈，特别是财政局和税务局等单位更是受到考生的青睐，经常出现几百人竞争一个职位的场景。财政学专业毕业生的对口职位大都在财政局和税务局的税收规划、审计、财政管理等方面。

大家要提前准备公务员考试，及早利用起一切可以利用的资源，查询关于公务员考试的信息和考试资料，心里对形势和考试本身提前有个底。另外，国有资产的一些公司每年都有一定的校园招聘名额，对条件优秀的本专业毕业生来说，相对其他专业的竞争对手有一定的优势，建议有此倾向的同学平时多关注大的资产管理公司的官方网站和历年的校园招聘要求，做到在素质培养上有的放矢。

基本要求：精通财税专业课程、熟悉国家政治经济动态。在校能够发表论文或完成某些课题最好。

三、银行业和证券业

银行业和证券业在中国快速发展，对经济类专业毕业生的需求也逐渐增多。财政专业的毕业生由于其全面的经济知识结构和对国家宏观财政税收的较好把握，所以在银行和证券公司中财政专业的毕业生有比较优势;银行的拨款和审计部门以及证券公司的政策分析、行业分析等部门也需要财政专业的毕业生。银行和证券的工作收入较高，福利奖金优厚，而且还有大量的投资机会。所以对于想得到一份比较固定的工作，并且有中等收入的人来说进银行工作是不错的选择。但对于喜欢挑战和冒风险同时又比较敏锐的人来说，进证券公司很不错，而且证券公司门槛较低。大家可以辅修金融专业。

基本要求：精通财政、税法、金融学、证券投资等财政金融课程，可以辅修金融专业。在校可以考取银行从业资格证、证券从业资格证、理财规划师三级证。

四、报关员、外贸

报关员也适合财政专业的毕业生去做。但这需要进行国家公务员考试。财政专业的毕业生在这一方面还是很有竞争优势的，尤其是进出口税收政策，财政学专业由于外贸专业。

外贸在沿海一带大小城市发展都非常快，对外贸人才的需求较大，而且，浙江、江苏一带民营企业也开始意识到高素质人才的重要性，开始大量招聘有学历的新手，是毕业生们入行的好机会，主要职位设置包括单证员、外贸业务员等等。我校经贸学院开设了海关管理与报关实务课程，大家可以辅修并结合这些课程去参加报关员和外销员考试拿证。同时要重视英语学习，尤其是口语，可以参加我校外语学院的英语口语过级考试并拿证。

基本要求：全面掌握财政、税收、贸易等专业课程，可以辅修外贸专业，精通外语。在校可以考取报关员证等。

五、考研

没有就业压力或需求的同学可以选择考研。财政学专业对口的考研方向为财政学、税收学、国有资本营运和社会保障等方向。本科对财政学不是很有兴趣深入研究的同学在考研学科上可以选择相近专业，如金融、外贸、经济学等。选择的学校可以是财政师资雄厚的7所部属财经类院校，厦门大学、中国人民大学等财政学专业排名靠前的综合型大学以及浙江财经学院、南京审计学院等地方类院校。择校参考标准：财政学专业为该校国家级或省级重点专业、特色专业等，财政学学科带头人学术科研能力强等。

基本要求：精通数学、英语、经济学以及财税专业课程;如果是税收等专业硕士，不要求考数学。

六、其他

其他就业点包括财务会计、市场营销、职业学校或大学教师等等，基本没有脱离经济类就业范围。

财务会计：近些年来掀起的大型企业兼并的浪潮方兴未艾，各大公司纷纷进行合并，中国的企业也顺应国际潮流，逐渐地进行合并、组建更大规模的集团公司。大规模的集团公司为了协调内部财务，一般都设有自己的财务公司。这种财务机构对财政专业毕业生的需求还是比较大的。

大学教师：现在一般高等院校留校任教最低要硕士， 211、985院校一般不留本校学生。本科生毕业进高校目前主要是地方性职业技术学校、民办高等院校、专科类学校等。主要工作一般是做学生辅导员等工作。但是可以利用最初的留校时间攻读在职硕士甚至博士，为以后成为教师编制或进入其他更好的院校做准备。
