9月20日是第八个全民国防教育日。这天，我们在班主任黄老师的带领下，来到淮北武警二中队体验军营生活。

军营楼房的四周用白色栏杆围着，院内显得十分简朴和整洁，我们被这里的严肃的气氛所感染，好奇心也油然而生。几位武警叔叔出来迎接我们。他们首先向我们介绍了每个人身上佩戴的警衔标志，然后带我们来到宣传橱窗前，向我们讲解了那些图片，我们从中了解和感受到了人民解放军和武警战士平时不怕苦不怕累，刻苦训练，关键时刻不畏艰难，挺身而出，为人民服务的精神。

接着，一位武警叔叔教我们叠被子。他一边做示范一边讲解，不一会儿就把被子叠得像一个大大豆腐块，整齐漂亮，我们都十分惊叹佩服。做完示范后，我们男女生分组比赛叠被子，于是，大家齐动手，在叔叔的指点下，好不容易才把被子叠起来，比赛结果当然是我们女生先胜一筹！

过了一会，两位叔叔拿来两支步枪，让我们体验一下军事武器。那几个从小就喜欢玩枪的男同学，见了真枪别提多兴奋了，他们左看看，右摸摸，简直是爱不释手！叔叔把枪首先递给我，我接过枪，觉得它沉甸甸的，心也顿时紧张起来，虽然这枪没有子弹，但可是真家伙啊！叔叔耐心地教我如何持枪、瞄准以及怎样扳动机关，我心里真高兴！
