Our school usually holds a spring sports meeting each year. The spring sports meet this year was held last Friday. Many students took an active part in it. So did I.

一年一度的运动会终于临了!虽然连日来的气温偏低，但所有的选手都摩拳擦掌准备在竞赛中大展身手，光是想像那人声鼎沸的场面，就令人热血沸腾。

运动会在运动员进场仪式进行下，揭开了序幕，典礼结束接着一连串的活动开始了，首先是打鼓队带来的“起鼓、祈福”，为本次大会带来满满的祝福。紧接的班上参与的第一项竞赛活动：“旗正飘飘”，在全班引颈期盼，同心协力下，由本班为主体的小队，在场上获得了胜利。陆陆续续的表演结束后，再来就是精采的田径赛项目，每一位选手卯足全力的在比赛中争取最好的成绩，过程紧张又刺激，一时之间忘却了北风凛冽，心暖呼呼的。

在一连串精彩的表演和刺激比赛中，结束了上半场的活动，大伙在经过休息及用餐，养精蓄锐备足了体力，接下来要迎接的是紧张的四百米接力，因为我参加了这项比赛，在比赛中我们这组得到了第三名。“呼!”比赛前我的一颗心都快跳了出来。在稍事休息后，大家期待的大队接力开始了，每一位同学都为自己的班级加油，个个也都卯足了全力替自己的班级争取冠军，结果我们班得到了第一名，大家都很高兴能够的到这么好的成绩，也为比赛画下完美的句点。

比赛虽然很累，但是大家还是觉得很开心，运动会就在大家愉快的心情中结束了。俗话说：“胜不娇，败不馁”，输的人再接再厉，赢的人也不要骄傲，期待下一次的比赛到来。

我们继续坚持比赛。虽然，最后我们以一球惜败，但我觉得，值了，因为我们一直在不懈拼搏，坚持到了最后一刻，不像有的人半途而废，没有坚持拼搏的耐心，就算取得了成功也不光荣。

通过这场比赛，不但增强了我们两个班之间的友谊，更让我明白了坚持的重要性!坚持，不放弃，虽败也犹荣!

Everyone always has a good Sunday. On Sundays, everybody does some things

what he like.Last Sunday, Jack had a relaxing Sunday. He got up 6 o’clock. After

breakfast, Jack played basketball with his friends. They were very happy. Then

he played the guitar in the room. And he sang songs very loudly. Though it’s

very relaxing for him, it also make very noisy for neighbors. Maybe he should

turn down the music. At noon, jack fed his pet cat henry. He is Jack’s favorite.

Jack always play with him on the weekends. At night, he watched TV on the sofa.

At the some time, he ate many delicious snacks. So he really had a great time.At

the of day, jack thought if I always have a relaxing Sunday like today. I will

become the happiest boy all over the world.

Last year, I went to Guilin for travel. On the train, I felt so bored. A

girl who sat next to me was reading a book, which caught my attention. I asked

her about the book, I found that I had read it before and then we discussed

about the novel. We talked happily, when the train arrived, we got off together.

When we got aparted, we promised to keep in touch. We communicated by the

computer. Now a year has passed, we become good friends and I miss her all the

time. She is a genuine friend. I plan to go to Guilin again and then we will

meet.

I like to do all kinds of sports, in the morning, I will do some jogging and in the evening, sometime I will go to the gym with my friends. My favorite sport is playing tennis, tennis brings my life so much happiness, I can watch the match while talking to my friends happily. To do the sport will improve my health and make me catch up with the time.

When I was small, one day, when I went home after school, I felt bored and opened the TV, then I saw the tennis match. Two beautiful girls were playing intensively, the game was so excellent, I couldn’t move my eye away from the match. From then on, I started to fall in love with tennis, I watched many matches and got to know more about the game.

Tennis sport is the combination of power and asthetics. The tennis players dress the beautiful clothes and their power make the ball fly quickly. The other tennis players will return the tennis ball with their rightly power. The game is so wonderful, if we watch the match alive.

There is no doubt that I am a big fan of the tennis sport. I find so much fun from it, it enriches my life.
