Generation gap refers to the misunderstanding between the old and young.

The term came into fashion after the 1980s. However, in recent years, the

phenomenon is getting more and more fierce.

How does generation gap come into being? The first reason is that the two

generations have grown up in different ages, thus they have different attitudes

toward life. Secondly, due to having little in common with each other, they are

unwilling to sit down and talk face to face. Besides, as modern life is so

stressful, both of them are so busy with their study or work that they have not

enough time to exchange their ideas.

To bridge the generation gap is not easy at all, but we can do something to

Early in senior high school, we longed to be enrolled in a university. Now

the dream has come true. But how do we college students like our campus

Certainly, some relish it, finding it colorful and rewarding. Besides

study, they spend considerable amount of time improving themselves in various

aspect. Yet others do not think much of their college life, thus do not benefit

as much. In their eyes, the university is just a bigger high school. The only

difference is that they have more time at their disposal without parents looking

As to me, college life is ideal if only I have abundant books to read, some

bosom friends to keep me company, a couple of conscientious professors to

在热闹的开幕式中，一年一度的运动会又开始了!我是现场播报员陈泓宇，接下来就让我来播报一下战况吧!

首先是男子跳高比赛，我们班的温翔宇表现十分优秀，他一路上过五关斩六将，勇往直前，可是在进前五的时候，脚底踩滑了，导致没有进到前五名，真是太可惜了!

最精彩的要数女子跳高比赛，我们班的唐钧雨一个猛冲跑过去，然后纵身一跃，居然以1米21的惊人成绩打破了学校记录!真是不可思议!赛场内一阵阵热烈的掌声。

紧接着是男子200米的比赛，我们班的舒子恒跃跃欲试。可是在比赛中他竟然发挥失常了，不知怎么的，居然被第一名甩了20多米远，最后遗憾的得了个倒数第一!同学们的心情失落到了极点，而我没有灰心，我相信“失败是成功之母!”

终于到了期待已久的女子200米比赛，这次出战的是我们班跑步最快的女生—廖晨雨。她似乎为了挽回我们班的荣誉，一直拼命的往前冲，一下子超了两个人!可惜“强中自有强中手”，前面三个人一直把廖晨雨拖在后面，虽然她拼尽全力，但最终还是以第四名的成绩跑完全程。

好了，说了这么久运动会总有我一份吧!这不，轮到我跑400米“大显身手”了。我站在起跑线前，等待着裁判员的枪响。顿时我感觉空气的流动声都能听得到，心砰砰直跳。这时，只听“嘭”的一声，枪声响了!我立刻发疯似的冲出去，可是我的对手们实在是太强了，他们一会儿就反超了我，把我甩到最后，结果我也以倒数第一的成绩告终……

虽然这次运动会我们班的成绩不尽人意，可在比赛中却体现出了运动员们永不服输，勇往直前的精神，他们虽败犹荣!让我们，真诚的向他们致敬!

During my secondary school years I often liked to go to the recreation room to play table tennis. Some of my classmates were very good at this game and I often tried to compete with them to improve my skill. In high school I spent many hours playing outdoor sports. I enjoyed team sports like basketball and volleyball. In my senior year I started to practice tennis. Sometimes I would find a partner to play tennis with me, but as yet I am not very good at this sport. Tennis requires great strength in the arms and legs as well as strong concentration on the game.

最令我高兴的是下午的集体跳绳比赛，我们不仅得了第一，还把她们远远地甩在后面，我们225个，她们还不到200个，好开心呵!我是队员之一呀。拔河比赛是我最伤心的事，我们从一年级开始，就没有赢过一次，这次也输了。还好，在老师的拔河赛中，我们班的老师赢了。

这次运动会，虽然有烦恼，可更多的是快乐。

Every year, my school holds sports meeting in about September, I am very exciting about it, I can watch the wonderful game and dont have class. Today is fathers day, when I went to school, I heard my classmates were

discussing about what to buy for their fathers. Some suggested to buy food,

others wanted to do something special by themselves. At last, an idea occurred

to my mind, I could cook a dinner for my father. So I rushed home after class.

My mother was preparing dinner. I told her my idea and she supported me. I did

“嘟”哨响了，我们班的同学喊的加油声响彻云霄，我们班选手的劲更大了，他们俯下身子，拼命向后拉去。可是三零四班的劲也很大，等绳中央的铁锁快超过他们班那条线时，我的心就像打鼓一样“咚咚”敲个不停。但是我们班又来了个三百六十度大回转，等铁锁快超过我们班那条线时，我们个个都胜利在望，喊的加油声也更大了。“嘟”哨停了，我们赢了，我和同学们紧紧拥抱在一起，这时候我的心里就像喝了蜜一样甜。

比完拔河，我们又进行了很多项目，到了傍晚放学时，运动会结束了，我们度过了愉快又兴奋的一天。

我运动，我快乐，我运动，我健康。参加阳光体育，争做阳光少年。只有运动，才能让我们的身体茁壮成长。我以后一定要加强体育锻炼，希望在下一届的运动会上能够多参加一些比赛项目，为三零二班争光!

In my city, it’s so cold and wet in the winter that makes the winter days

much harder to get through. It rains a lot in my hometown, both during the

summer and the winter. I like the cold weather, but not the wet, because it

prevents me going out for fun. It’s much colder when it rains. Besides, when it

rains, the outside is all wet and dirty that makes you keep your foots in door.

And the whole city seems be covered by heavy fog. I always feel upset in such

weather. In one word, the weather is really bad in my city and I don’t like it

at all. I hope I can move to somewhere warmer and less rain.

and practical experience, and each has its own advantages. The knowledge we gain

from books and formal education enables us to learn about things that we have no

opportunity to experience in daily life. We can study all the places in the

world and learn from people we will never meet in our lifetime, just by reading

about them in books. We can also develop our analytical skills and learn how to

view and interpret the world around us in different ways. Furthermore, we can

learn from the past by reading books. In this way, we won’t repeat the mistakes

of others and can build on their achievements.

Practical experience, on the other hand, can give us more useful knowledge.

It is said that one learns best by doing, and I believe that this is true,

whether one is successful or not. In fact, I think making mistakes is the best

way to learn. Moreover, if one wants to make new advances, it is necessary to

act. Innovations do not come about through reading but through experimentation.

Finally, one can apply the skills and insights gained through the study of books

to practical experience, making an already meaningful experience more

敢死队员1号：小心翼翼型

这位队员一边看着书，一边虎视耽耽地望着老师。瞧，他刚翻一页，就抬头看看老师，接着又翻一页，然后有抬头望望老师，这样重复循环，真不知道他把内容看进去没有。看见老师的目光没有扫向他，他赶紧抓住机会连翻几页，然后突然抬头，盯着老师。

敢死队员2号：动作怪怪型

这位队员可有点怪了，看着书，一会儿掏掏鼻子，一会儿打打哈欠，一会儿摸摸耳朵，一副惟恐天下不乱的样子，好像不让老师发现他的举动就不甘心似的，真是个怪人。

敢死队员3、4号：谈天说地型

这两位同学有些不把老师放在眼里了，边看书边聊天。我隐隐约约听见他们说冒险岛OL，说漫画内容，说小说，说娱乐咨询，就连老师和同学的目光扫向他们，也无济于事。

敢死队员5号：边学边看型

这位同学好像有些明白学习的重要性，看了几分钟的书，马上立起来听老师的讲课。课上一半时，老师为了扫查班上的敢死队，把同学们一个叫起一个问问题。这下可让这群敢死队员们开始惶恐不安了，他们连书都顾不着看呢。而这位队员呢，看一会儿就学学，这一招算是对他的MISS了。

敢死队员6号：理直气壮型

这位同学可是班上的霸王级分子了（注：别乱想，不是我啊），他可是一人之下，几十人之上，谁敢对他不敬，他的落雷马上就落在你头上了，（注：我已经欠了他3顿打了，要不是我能帮他弄电脑作业，我早就魂飞天了）因此每人敢告发他。不知是她的好运还是老师放水，他这样看了一堂课，竟然都没半点被批评，真太不公平了！！

谁知道，老师从天而降，为了抓住敢死分子，居然来个背后突袭，到所有座位后边地毯式搜索。5名敢死队员唰地一声，在同一时间内放下书，装起乖乖。只有敢死队员6号稳如泰山，而老师的目光明明瞄准了他，可老师却好像在放水一样，竟纵容他在自己眼皮子底下活动，真气死人了！而其他5位的敢死队员便无机可乘，只好乖乖停课，唯独6号占了便宜。

Its Sunday today. I got up early and did my homework on the table. All of a

sudden I remembered the mothers day, a picture of my mind, remembering a past

thing that moved me.

Thats the case. After coming home from school that afternoon, my mother came

back. I found that my mother was very tired, his eyes were squinting, and I

yawned. So she sent me to do my homework at home. But I felt very sad to see my

mother working so hard, so I decided to share the housework for my mother. I

began to pick up the stuff in my home, first fold the newspaper, and then the

My dream is to become a successful stateman, helping those people who need

help with their rights. Of course, to be a good stateman is very difficult, but

developing country which needs good stateman,especially in the countryside and

distant villages.

Now I’m a junior student on Grade One, My dream is also that although at

colorful, and I have enough confidence to realize my dream.

我们学校一年一度的运动会开始了。开幕式上，每个班都精心准备了各自的方阵，我们班也不甘落后，拼命的喊着口号：“三六、三六，一枝独秀;非比寻常，实力最强!”

比赛还没有开始，操场上已经是人山人海了，参加比赛的同学个个摩拳擦掌，准备迎来一次新的挑战。大家在操场上做着各种热身活动，都有一种不拿第一誓不罢休的气势。

比赛开始了，随着裁判员一声枪响，同学们像打出的子弹一样飞奔而出，你追我赶，誓不罢休。领先的同学疯狂加速，落后的同学穷追猛赶，一丝机会也不放弃。

要说比赛最精彩最激烈的还是我们班姚磊同学，一声令下，站在起跑线上的同学立马缓过神来，像兔子一样窜了出去。一开始，我们班姚磊就一路领先，我们高兴的大喊。可是，慢慢地，后面的同学快要超过他了，我们特别急，拼命喊道：“姚磊，加油!姚磊，加油!”终于姚磊坚持到了最后，取得了第一名，等他回来我们全班同学都向他竖起了大拇指。

这次运动会不仅让我们增强了体育锻炼，还让我们得到了快乐。虽然团体成绩并不是很好，但友谊第一，比赛第二。

周二上午，学校举行了体育达标运动会，同学们听了这个消息，十分激动，不停地叫着。太阳公公被同学们的吵闹声，涨红了脸，便在天上烤起了“云羊”，热得我们直冒汗。

当我听到广播里说，三年级到田径场去参加比赛时，我十分紧张，心怦怦地跳个不停，像怀了个小兔子一样。

同学们在老师的带领下，有秩序地来到田径场。当我看到别的班的同学在比赛时，我的心情渐渐平静下来。

轮到我们班比赛啦!当裁判员老师吹响哨子时，我飞快地跳绳。但我跳到筋疲力尽时，我心想：坚持就四胜利，一定要为班级争光!旁边的同学不停地喊着：“三(2)班加油，三(2)班加油……”

我坚持着完成了比赛，成绩是119个。这次比赛，我们班取得了优异的成绩，我们没有辜负老师对我们的期望!
