The Advantages of Doing Physical Exercises

As the proverb goes, “no one knows the value of health until he loses it.”

From this, we know

that health is very important to everybody. But how to keep fit? Many

people believe that sports can offer people health and pleasure. As far as I

concern, I think doing physical exercises have lots of advantages.

Last night, I ate a lot of food, such as KTC and ice cream, before I slept,

I ate some cold food in the fridge. At midnight, I felt my stomach hurt badly,

my family was woke up, they sent me to the hospital. After seeing the doctor, he

told me that I had eaten too much food, what’s more, the food was not healthy,

so it hurt my stomach. Since then, I realized that I should not eat the rubbish

food often, I should keep the healthy diet. Now my diet is regular, I won’t take

in much food before sleeping, my body is becoming healthy. In the morning, I eat

an egg and make sure I take in enough vitamins. Even when I see the rubbish food

is tempting, I take no hesitation to say no to them. I am so proud of

myself.

Today is Thursday, and the school has a spring sports meet. I woke up early in the morning, because it was my first time after school, and I had to play. Im excited and nervous.

The students came to school early in their uniforms. After a while, the opening ceremony of the games began. With the high national anthem, we lined up to the playground.

The game officially began. The first event was our first year relay race. Bang gunshot, athletes like the arrow as rushed out. At the other end of the runway, taking over the students to lean forward to stick immediately after flying in general run. It was my turn, and although I was nervous, I managed to catch it and ran across. The cheers and cheers of the field were higher and higher, and the runners ran one after another. benefits of reading.

without going out. Secondly, reading is a good way to improve reading and

Nowadays, there is a growing focus on health care. People are pursuing a

Should students make friends on line? Some people say yes. The Internet

helps make many friends. Chatting on line, students can express their feelings

and opinions more freely, and even get help with their foreign language

studies.

Others, however, think students should not. They say making friends on line

is a waste of time, which should be spent more meaningfully on study. Besides,

some students, get cheated on line.

It is my opinion that students should place their study, health and safety

before other, things. As for friendship, we can readily find it in our

向日葵

A sunflower is a kind of beautiful and useful plant. Its face is round and golden, looks like the sun. Thats why people call it sunflowers.

向日葵时一种美丽而有用的植物。它的脸时圆形，金黄色，看上去像太阳，这就是为什么人们叫它为“向日葵”。

It faces the sun all the time during the day. When autumn comes, sunflower fruit is ripe. People like eating them in their free time. Whats more, people can also make oil from them.

Zhang Ying is my good friend. She’s in Class1, Grade4 in Tianjiao Primary

School. She’s a model student. She’s smart and she’s helpful, too. She often

helps teachers and young students at school. She is good at Chinese, math,

English, arts and crafts, music and so on. She has a lot of hobbies. She likes

painting and drawing. And she likes listening to music, having picnics with her

parents. Oh yeah, she likes fishing, too. But she doesn’t like playing

basketball, football, table tennis or volleyball. Zhang Ying is the best friend

of mine. I like playing with her. We always work together and help each

other.

I like running because I think it’s a funny and easy sport. I can do it by myself. I was not very healthy when I was a little child. So my father took me running with him. He said it’s good for me. At first I didn’t like it at all. But after a few weeks I felt great when I was running. Therefore I go to running every three days. Now some of my classmates run with me. We always talk to each other. I like this sport.

上午，我们测量了身高，体重，一分钟跳绳，立定跳远，五十米短跑和仰卧起坐。我印象最深刻的是测五十米短跑。我们跟着江老师来到红色塑胶跑道，心想：我上一次在体育课上测的成绩是9秒4，这一次一定要发挥好。没想到，跟我一组的都是跑得最快的女生，我的心砰砰地乱跳，天哪!怎么办呀?轮到我们这一组了，当裁判员老师说开始时，我用了全身的力气向前冲，但还是跑不过遥遥领先的杨培艺。成绩出来了，我很不服气：有什么了不起，我将不信跑不过你，我要努力。

下午，我们参加了团体赛——40人钻呼啦圈。我们班在赛场上排成一条长龙队，比赛开始了，同学们快速地将呼啦圈钻过自己的身体，传給后面的人，我非常激动：我们班一定要得第一名。站在前面的同学都已经把十个呼啦圈全部传給了后面的同学，可后面的同学还在激烈的比赛中，已经完成任务的同学为了让后面的同学钻得更快点，就大声的叫起来：“三五班加油!三五班加油!”在一浪又一浪的加油声中，比赛终于结束了。当宣布三五班第一名时，大家兴奋地大叫：“耶!”

体质达标运动会，不仅能让我们强身健体，而且还能让自己在比赛中知道:班集体的荣誉是要靠每一位同学共同努力才能取得的。

Many years ago, when the first computer came into being, many people

predicted the age of computer has come. Now only two decades passed, here comes

the new age of cellphone. Lets look at how people depend on the phone. They use

cellphone to work and to communicate with families and friends. With the

development of technology, online payment is popular and people just need a

cellphone to pay all the bills. How convenient it is. We are lucky to live in

the age of technology. But at the same time, if we dont control ourselves, we

will lose in the technology world, such as some children overuse cellphone and

learn nothing at all.

It has been two years since I first got to university. Some of my

classmates say that the college life is boring, because they have plenty of time

but do not know what to do. However, from my point of view, the campus life in

college is interesting and colorful as long as you make it meaningful.

In the first semester in college, I didnt relax and I still worked hard as

I was in the senior school. I usually spent two hours in study at night and I

went to the classroom forautonomous learning.But the difference is that I have

many extracurricular activities. For example, I went to the English Corner

regularly on Tuesday night, in which I could practice my spoken English and make

friends with common interests.

Besides, I join the Student Union of my department. In the Student Union, I

have a group of workmates who work hard together and support to each other.

Actually, it looks like a big, warm family that we can share our lives together.

During various activities, I realize the importance of team spirit that helps us

go further.

Finally, college is great stage to improve a student and show ones

abilities. In college, I know more about our society and get more channels to

explore the outside world. I realize that I am not only a student but also an

adult who is preparing to step into the society.

In short, I cherish my life in college campus and I will try hard to make

it colorful as well as meaningful.

Nowadays many countries in the world have passed laws to ban smoking in public places. Some smokers claim that their rights are infringed if smoking is forbidden in public places. However, most non-smokers regard the ban as good news. As far as I’m concerned, smoking should be banned in all the public places such as restaurants, theaters and public squares.

On the one hand, smoking is harmful both for smokers themselves and others. It is reported that every year smoking causes millions of death around the world. On the other hand, smoking pollutes the air. Just imagine that you sit in a restaurant full of smoke, how can you enjoy your meal there? Besides, smoking is bad for the elevation of a country’s image in the world.

I believe if smoking is banned in all the public places, most of us will breathe in more fresh and clean air. And the health condition of all the people will be greatly improved.

10月20日，我们期待已久的运动会终于开始了！

早晨七点半左右，同学们聚集到操场上，平时冷清的操场沸腾起来！今天的同学们个个精神抖擞，朝气蓬勃！首先入场的是鼓号队，他们演奏着铿锵有力的乐曲走过主席台。舞蹈队挥舞着彩绸入场，像一只只偏偏起舞的蝴蝶。跟在后面的是各班的同学们，踏着整齐的步子，喊着响亮的口号，脸上洋溢着欢乐的笑容。

比赛开始了！哦！原来是我们班的李泉霖出场了。这也是我们班的一员大将，一定能为我们班争彩！“李泉霖，加油！李泉霖，加油！耶！”我们班的李泉霖，真不愧为我们班的一员大将啊，取得了第一名的好成绩。一阵微风吹来，树枝随风摆动，好像是在为她喝彩呢！

咦？王佳明去哪里了？哦，是比赛去了。同学们都希望它能为男生争光。但是，当他和别的班的同学站在一起时，我们就有些心灰意冷了。他的个子，比别的男生矮一头。夺冠是没希望了，但是重在参与嘛。只要他尽力了，就是最棒的。

在运动会上，有一件事让我印象颇深……我们班的女飞人——姚明新，刚刚跑完400米，不知怎么的，肚子突然疼了起来。这可怎么办？下面她还得跑800米呢！看来，800米她是跑不成了，可谁来代替她跑800米呢？问唐甜，唐甜不愿意；问石媛媛，石媛媛不愿意；问李泉霖，照样不愿意。这可怎么办？别的班的同学来催了，谁跑啊？最后，姚明新忍住疼痛，坚持跑完了800米。当她跑过红线是，全场爆发出雷鸣般的掌声。

这届运动会，意义非凡啊！

今天，是我们学校一年一度的秋季运动会，同学们兴高采烈地早早的就到了学校。上午的项目有60米、100米、400米跑步，跳远、擂球和迎面接力赛;下午是集体项目，有跳绳和拔河。

因为我胖，上午没有我的项目，可是我为参赛的同学加油助威也很高兴，我们班取得了非常好的成绩：女子60米跑步第一名和第三名都属于我们班，女子400米更厉害，前三名都是我们班的，还有迎面接力，我们整整赢了他们半圈。可提到我们班的男同学就不好意思啦!唯一上了名次的揭宗康居然犯了规。

最令我高兴的是下午的集体跳绳比赛，我们不仅得了第一，还把她们远远地甩在后面，我们225个，她们还不到200个，好开心呵!我是队员之一呀。拔河比赛是我最伤心的事，我们从一年级开始，就没有赢过一次，这次也输了。还好，在老师的拔河赛中，我们班的老师赢了。

这次运动会，虽然有烦恼，可更多的是快乐。

本周星期五，我们学校将要举行了一年一度的运动会。

这一天终于到了，我们怀着激动而又急切的心情，到达了操场，只见操上人山人海，非常热闹。

运动会开始了，第一个项目是50米短跑，你瞧，我们班的阳军杰已经摆好了姿式，只等着那声惊心动魄的发令枪响。“砰”，随着枪声的响起，运动员们都向终点奔跑。只见我们班的`阳军杰箭步如飞、天马行空，他像一支离弦的箭，闪电般的向终点冲去，其它选手也你追我赶，眼看我们班的阳军杰快要跑到终点了，可是4班的大个子又追了上来，于是，他和阳军杰进行了一对一的较量，但他们俩的实力差不多，没有高低之分，他们俩同时跑到了终点，在欢呼声中，他们走上了领奖台，把跑步第一名的奖状给领走了。

旁边的跳高比赛也开始了，只见一个大哥哥冲向跳高台，轻松的一跑一跳，就跃过了横杆，这时，一位较胖的大姐姐，她使劲一跳，差点把栏杆压断，起来后，她说了一句：“我还需要继续减肥啊。”我们听了哭笑不得。

我参加的比赛开始了，那就是男子1分钟跳绳，我的心悬了起来，生怕跳不够规定的个数，我们开始跳了，前20秒我的表现还不错，跳了40个，后半段我快不行了，但我仍坚持着，心里想，怎么也得跳够规定的数量啊!比赛终于结束了，但我已经累如一滩软泥，结果出来了，我跳了109个，全班第二名，那一刻，不知为什么，我又来劲了，立刻跳起来为自己欢呼。过了一个下午，运动会在欢呼声中结束了，同学们都筋疲力尽，腿软如泥。

这届运动会虽然结束了，但这届运动会令我至今难忘，因为这届运动会蕴含着老师辛勤的劳动，同学们劳累的汗水，有同学们失败的眼泪，更有那些甜美的笑容和永不放弃的精神。

吃过早饭，大家早早的来到了学校。天空中下着绵绵细雨在老师的带领下，我们排着整齐的队伍，踏着轻快的步伐，来到了学校的运动场。

首先，是我最喜欢的开幕式。向左一看，军乐队人员们昂手阔步的往前走，他们飒爽英姿的排着一支整齐的队伍，真像一个个魁梧的军人。最前面的是那鲜艳的五星红旗，五星红旗迎风飘扬，活像大海的波浪。军乐队后面是花束队，各色各样的花摇着头真想我们打招呼呢!

接着，主持人宣布比赛就要开始了，要求所有的运动员到比赛场地集合，只见运动员们信心满满的迈着大步走了过去，进行自己的赛前准备。

比赛正式开始了。最精彩的是廖涵的1000跑和林龙腾的400米跑。只见廖涵精神抖擞的入场了，裁判员枪声令下，“呼”的一声，廖涵立刻像离弦的箭一样冲了出去。草坪上沸腾了，我们班大声喊着：“加油”“加油”……还有一圈了，还有半圈了，还有十米了，近了，更近了，“耶”我们班的廖涵得了第一名。

接下来，就是林龙腾的400米跑了。“啪”的一声，在一声清脆的抢声下，林龙腾风一般的冲了出去，只听见激烈的加油声，一声比一声高，林龙腾在同学们加油声的鼓励下，跑得更快了。还有五十米了，林龙腾开始了最后的冲刺。我们班得了第三名。

最后，决定胜负的拔河比赛就要开始了，我们的“敌人”脱下了校服，露出了蓝色的运动衫，真像出征的“战士”。而我们班在气势上也绝不输给他们，只见男同学个个摩拳擦掌，摆出必胜的架势。裁判枪声令下，一场精彩激烈的拔河比赛开始了，可我们的“敌人”正处于上风，最后我们只好以失败告终。

比赛注定有胜负，但是只要有不怕苦、努力拼搏的精神，才能够获得成功的喜悦因为失败是成功之母。
