I think reading as the most rewarding entertainment activities in my spare time.

Not only does reading provide me with a wide range of knowledge, it also broaden my mind towards the world. Different sorts of books contain various thoughts of life, work, relationships and cultures. When reading a novel, I can experience joys and tears of the characters through one story after another. Sichuan is located in the Upper Yangtze Valley in the southwestern part of the country. i like my school life very much,it is very interesting.i usually reach school at half past seven.then we do morning exercises at eight oclock.we have eight lessons every day.the lesson begin at a quarter past eight.my favourite subject is english.i can get a lot of english knowledge from our teacher.our teacher are very good-natured.they are always kind to us.i also like our outdoor activities.when we have outdoor activities,everyone in the playground is active and lively.how happy we are in our beautiful school!i love the life in my school!

在噼里啪啦的鞭炮声中，我们迎来了新春佳节。今年新春佳节我们提前回到奶奶家，除夕之夜，大家聚在一起热热闹闹，好不开心。团圆饭过后，我们几个小孩决定包饺子给大家吃。过年包饺子本来是北方人的习俗，但今天我们也兴一兴这个习俗。

一开始，堂哥和面，堂姐准备肉馅。看着堂哥用力的来回揉压面团，我们也跃跃欲试。但是他觉得我们太小，不够力气，就没让我们掺和。到面和好后，他却犯难了——原来他试做的几个饺子皮根本不象饺子皮的样：有些又大又厚，有些又太小太薄。这时，我跳出来说：“让我试试！”我心里想，堂哥力气大也是个麻烦，这下可以看我的了。我先从大面团里分出几份小的，然后用擀面杖开始擀，不快不慢，不轻不重。不久，那一团团小面粉在我手下成了一块块形状相近，厚薄适中的饺子皮。堂哥看着这些圆圆的饺子皮，脸上露出了惊讶的表情。

刚好，堂姐从厨房里端出准备好的饺子馅，为了节约时间我们决定边做饺子皮，边包饺子。于是，一边，堂弟帮我把面团分成一小份一小份，我只负责擀饺子皮；另一边，堂哥堂姐也在合作，一人放肉馅一人用饺子器包饺子。由于他们那边用上了饺子器，包饺子的速度很快，一开始我们这边还差点跟不上。可是我们也不甘示弱，我找出一套擀饺子的更好方法，加上堂弟的帮忙，速度也越来越快，最后竟然还超过了他们包饺子的速度。

等所有面团都擀完，一共包了六十多个饺子。水一烧开，我们就把饺子一个个下锅。之前我们还担心饺子下锅后会煮烂，那样我们花的工夫就会白费。但这些担心是多余的，饺子出锅了！不仅没有烂，而且一个个圆鼓鼓的，香喷喷的，令人垂涎三尺。我们把饺子分好，配上热汤，端给大人们吃。他们一个个都夸口称赞，我们的心里也乐滋滋的！

经过今天这次包饺子，我知道了一分耕耘一分收获，知道了父母平常的辛劳，更明白了只有劳动最光荣。
