1、明确说明对象：说明对象就是文章要说明的某个事物，要解释的某种现象，要阐述的某种道理。

2、快速判定说明对象的方法：

①看题目，不少题目本身就是本文的说明对象。如《中国石拱桥》、《看云识天气》等；②抓首括句和中心句。说明文往往运用这种句子来突出所要说明的事物和特征；③根据文章内容概括。

3、概括说明对象特征的方法：

①从标题着眼。有的标题直接指出说明对象的特征；有的标题由生动形象的比喻、拟人的修辞手法说明事物的特征；有的标题在指出说明对象的同时也指出其特征；有的标题用设问句的形式，引导读者有针对性地把握说明对象的特征。②从分析材料入手，注意抓文章中的关键句、中心句。如：《中国石拱桥》一文中这种桥不但形式优美，而且结构坚固和我国的石拱桥有悠久的历史两句，就点明了中国石拱桥等特点：形式优美、结构坚固、历史悠久。③借助说明内容，概括说明对象的特征。如：永定河发水时，来势很猛，以前两岸河堤常被冲毁，但是这座桥却极少出事，足见它的坚固。桥面用石板铺砌，两旁有石栏石柱。每个柱头上都雕刻着不同姿态的狮子。这些石刻狮子，有的母子相抱，有的交头接耳，有的像倾听水声，有的像注视行人，千态万状，惟妙惟肖。这段文字没有关键句，但用了作比较的说明方法和形象生动的描写。例如：拿两岸的河堤常常被冲毁与这座桥从没出过事作比较，是为了说明卢沟桥结构坚固的特点；用排比、拟人的修辞手法描写柱头上石刻狮子的情态，是为了说明卢沟桥形式优美的特点。

二、如何判断说明顺序

要想准确把握说明顺序很简单，只要明确各种说明顺序适合哪类说明文就能很容易判断出来。常见说明顺序有：时间顺序、空间顺序、逻辑顺序。

时间顺序：凡是事物的发展变化都离不开时间，如说明生产技术、产品制作、工作方法、历史发展、文字演变、人物成长、动植物生长等等，都应以时间为序；

空间顺序：按照事物空间存在形式，由内到外、由下到上、由前到后、由远到近等依次进行说明，一般适用于说明某一静态实体（如建筑物）、事物的形状、构造特征等；如《故宫博物院》、《核舟记》都运用的是空间顺序。

逻辑顺序：按照事物内部联系或人们认识事物的过程来安排说明顺序，通常包括从概括到具体、从整体到局部、从现象到本质、从主要到次要、从原因到结果、从特点到用途、从简单到复杂。如《中国石拱桥》、《苏州园林》都是运用逻辑顺序。

事实上，时间顺序多用表时间变化的词语；空间顺序多用表方位的词语；逻辑顺序多用表逻辑层次的关联词等。阅读中如果注意这些标志性的词语，也能很快判断出说明顺序。

三、如何判定说明方法，并分析其作用：

1、想要快速准确的判定说明方法，只要熟练掌握各种说明方法在文章中存在的形式即可。常用的说明方法有：下定义、举例子、作比较、打比方、分类别、画图表、列数字、引用（引资料）。判定说明方法较分析说明方法的作用容易的多，在这里就不多赘述。

2、分析说明方法作用的答题模式。

列数字：本句使用了列数字的说明方法，科学、具体、准确地说明了的的特征（或事理）。

举例子：本句使用了举例子的说明方法，具体、有力地说明了的的特征（或事理）。

下定义：本句使用了下定义的说明方法，科学准确地说明了的含义。

打比方：本句使用了打比方的说明方法，把什么比作什么，生动形象地说明了的的特征（或事理）。

分类别：本句使用了分类别的说明方法，条理清晰地说明了的的特征（或事理）。

作比较：本句使用了作比较的说明方法，把什么和什么作比较（对比），突出（强调）了的的特征（或事理）。

画图表：本句使用了画图表的说明方法，直观形象地说明了的的特征（或事理）。

引用（引资料）：本句使用了引用的说明方法，增强了说服力。注：引用这种说明方法如果用在文章的开头，还有引出说明对象的作用。

四、如何品析说明文语言的准确性

1、抓修饰、限制性词语，揣摩其准确性、严密性

说明文语言的准确性往往体现在一些副词、连词、形容词、数量词以及限制性词和短语上，如只有、全、最主要、最等，这些词语从时间、范围、数量等方面起到修饰限制作用。

2、抓模糊语言的运用，体会其准确性

如大约、可能、左右等。

3、考题形式

①加点字有何作用？②加点字或词语能否换成另一个词？并说明理由。③加点词（限制性）可否删去？为什么？

4、答题模式

①准确（生动形象地）说明了的的特征（或事理）。②不可以换；原词的意思是，所换之词的意思是，换了后意思就变成了；与实际不符。③不能删除；如比较、几乎、相当等词表程度；大约、可能、左右等表估计；多、有余等表数量；若删去，原来的意思就变成了，与实际不符，太绝对了；体现了说明文语言的准确性和严密性。

我的家乡，有成千上万的宝物散播在大街小巷，而我独爱各式各样，口味不同的糖。

龙须糖、粽子糖，两者都因其形得其名。龙须糖外层有千丝万缕的白糖，很像龙须；粽子糖看上去就是迷你粽子，晶莹剔透，玲珑可爱。这两种糖都很甜，每当我心情苦闷时，含一两颗，心情顿时好了许多。

但这两种糖可不能多吃哦，会长蛀牙的。我再来介绍两种好玩的糖。

麦芽糖。苏州的麦芽糖可好玩了，它不是小贩卖的一块块的硬邦邦的糖，而是由两根竹签缠绕住的软糖。

其实，它应该就是硬邦邦的糖熬化后的样子，相当于物理上说的熔化，变成糖糊后还要继续以一定温度加热。要不然，它们又会变硬的。如果你要买，卖糖的店主就会用两根竹签伸到糖糊中，绕出一团给你。不仅便宜，还超好玩，绕来绕去它就是不掉。小时候见别人吃时，我还以为这是胶水。

红糖画。在山塘街，有位阿姨传承着这个绝活———在板上用糖画画。她的摊位有一块小转盘，盘上是各类动物。你可以去转一下，指针停在哪一处就做哪个动物，也可以做自己的生肖，或者干脆把想做的动物告诉她，她就会在板上放根竹签，用红糖熔化后的糖汁勾勒出美妙的图案。

这个糖画很美，美中不足的是易碎，由于只有一根竹签支撑，所以吃时一定要很小心。

这两种糖最大特点是好玩，当你无聊时，不妨买一份，说不定还能给你点儿小灵感。
