The Chinese have specific way to celebrate their new year. If you walk down the street in Chinatown during Chinese New Year, you see a variety of ancient traditions such as red banners, firecrackers and lion dance performances, streets are filled with lively celebration.

However, legend has said that the new year has not always been a time of festivity. An Asian Chinese story told a chilly start to this festive holiday, it begins with an ancient Chinese beast called Nian.

Every New Year Nian would rise from swelling in the sea to ravage Chinese village in livestock and hurting people. The villages soon found out from a wise gray-haired old man that the only way to scare the beast away was to set off firecrackers and light lamps and to hang red banners on each door. As the story goes, this was the beginning of a tradition that would last thousands of years.

So this story leads to the creation of many of other traditions for celebrating Chinese New Year. lets take a look at some of these traditions.

In this period of communication, computer has been used in all kinds of fields widely, and plays a particular role in our lives. Especially computer has become more and more important in educational field, therefore dozens of people considered teachers could be replaced computers that will go with the current of the times. The main reason is that peoples brain better than computer. Firstly, people design all kinds of computers programs. Secondly, computer doesnt have logistic ideation. Computer only can defend on that designer inputted computers programs to judge a questions right or wrong. In other words, computer cant defend on thinking that computer independently analyzes a questions right or wrong. In case, designer inputted programs that are wrong. Another reason is that computers programs designed software of education that could be amended difficultly. If software of education of bugs were found, commonly these of problems couldnt be solved in the classroom. The software was amended that means total of program were corrected, not only parts of program were ed or amended usually.

Last but not the least reason is computer is mechanical, it couldnt be suited all kinds of students and different demands. As students intellect is different, same of software couldnt base on every status of student to set a perfect project.

In conclusion, computers couldnt instead of the position of teachers in the classroom, however computer is an absolutely good helper for teacher.

I have a lot of aspirations. but what i desire most is to have no examinations.

We are always told that examinations aim to check what we have learned. but i dont think so. examination is not the best way, especially in the primary school. examinations, composition examinations in particular, will bring students, teachers and parents a great deal of pressure. to cope with the examination, some students just remember the model essays by rote. it will do no good to the improvement of writing.

来到小河边，一阵风吹过河面，河面上立即荡起了一圈涟漪。在阳光的`照射下，河面上的波纹好像是闪着亮光的银子。有一只水鸟扑地钻进了水里去了，河面上立即飞溅起一颗颗水珠，在阳光的照耀下，仿佛是一颗颗闪着耀眼的珍珠在跳动，不一会儿水珠便落到水里去了，河面上又溅起一串串细细的水花。

可这南方的冬天，一没雪，二没那酸菜汤，再加上屋里又不供暖，坐在屋里瑟瑟发抖。

这样一想，我更怀念我的我的家乡了，还有那让我魂牵梦绕的冬天了！

I think reading as the most rewarding entertainment activities in my spare time.

Not only does reading provide me with a wide range of knowledge, it also broaden my mind towards the world. Different sorts of books contain various thoughts of life, work, relationships and cultures. When reading a novel, I can experience joys and tears of the characters through one story after another. When it comes to a biography ,I can even speak to the great person as if he stood towards me. Don’t always regard reading as tools to prepare for exams or show off how knowledgeable the person is.

A true reader is the person who shows knowledge naturally while communicate with others. Reading indeed has an important impact on people’s behavior, which is the reason why I will never give it up.

家在岩坦，是一个美丽的山村。家门后就是一座小山，山上长满了树木，是个如诗如画的地方。

Since I was very small, I was very shy in the public place, so I always

avoided giving performance in front of so many people. Though I tried hard to

get over it in school, I still felt uneasy in the public place. When I came to

the job market, I realized that I must get over my fear, or I would lose my

stage.

I still remembered the horrible experience for my first interview. Early in

the morning, I got a called that I was given a chance to the job interview. I

felt so excited. When I came to the company, I found there were other six young

people competed with me, then I started to feel nervous. The employers asked us

to sit in the round table and introduced ourselves one by one. When it was my

turn, I lowed down my head and spoke in low voice. Then the employers continued

to let us give speeches in the stage. I lose confidence and made the horrible

performance.

This interview taught me a lesson that I must get over my fear, or I will

lose chances. So I practise hard and dare to stand in the stage.

Nian Gao:The northerners eat Jiao Zi, but southerners like to eat Nian Gao, which translates to "New Year Cake". In Chinese, Gao is a homonym for high. Nian Gao is also called Nian Nian Gao, which is a homonym for "higher each year", symbolizing progress and promotion at work and in daily life and improvement in life year by year.

Nian Gao is a sweet, sticky, brown cake made from rice flour and sugar, a kind of glutinous white cake in the shape of rectangle. Often given as a gift, it is delicious when steamed, fried, fried with eggs or even eaten cold.

Henan has a humid warm-temperate climate. Dry and windy in winter and spring, the province is hot and rainy in summer and bakes in strong sunlight during the autumn months. The remains of some of the earliest human settlements have been unearthed here, including the over 7000-year-old Peiligang Culture Site, the 6000-year-old Yangshao Culture Remains and the 5000-year-old Dahe Culture Remains. All these cultural remains have profound significance in the history of Chinese civilization.

Luoyang City has been the capital of nine dynasties since the time of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770BC-221BC). There are many historical sites to be viewed in Luoyang as well as the opportunity to purchase replicas of the famed Tang three-glaze horses. Luoyangs Longmen Grottoes, famous for its grand treasure trove of Chinese Buddhist statues, are located 12km (7 miles) south of Luoyang. First sculpted and chiseled around 493 AD when the capital of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) was moved from Datong City to Luoyang, the grottoes of Luoyang house an awe-inspiring collection of sculpted Buddha and other religious subjects.

Kaifeng, one of the ancient capitals, also boasts the following buildings worthy of a visit: Iron Pagoda (Tie Ta) of the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), Dragon Pavilion (Long Ting) - site of imperial palace of the Song and Jin dynasties - and the 1400-year-old Xiangguo Temple which is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China. Also on view in Kaifeng are ruins of the Shang Dynasty, an important part of human cultural and historic heritage. The Shang Dynasty Ruins, also known as the Yin Ruins, are famous because of the unique style of the large palace and its grand mausoleums, in which emperors of the Shang Dynasty are buried. The bronze vessels of the Shang Dynasty, which were both finely decorated and popularly used by the citizens of the Shang Dynasty, are well-known at home and abroad.

It is really my honor to have this opportunity for a interview,I hope I can make a good performance today. Im confident that I can succeed.

Now I will introduce myself briefly.

I am 26 years old,born in shandong province .I was graduated from qingdao university. my major is electronic.and i got my bachelor degree after my graduation in the year of 2003.I spend most of my time on study,i have passed CET4/6 . and i have acquired basic knowledge of my major during my school time.

In July 2003, I begin work for a small private company as a technical support engineer in QingDao city.Because Im capable of more responsibilities, so I decided to change my job.

And in August 2004,I left QingDao to BeiJing and worked for a foreign enterprise as a automation software test engineer.Because I want to change my working environment, Id like to find a job which is more challenging. Morover Motorola is a global company, so I feel I can gain the most from working in this kind of company ennvironment. That is the reason why I come here to compete for this position.

I think Im a good team player and Im a person of great honesty to others. Also I am able to work under great pressure.

我的外公、外婆是张金人，在他们那里过年可热闹了，放鞭炮、吃鱼糕、吃卤肉，特别是外婆做的炸肉丸子、卤肉最好吃。每年的这个时候，我就会守在外婆的蒸笼旁，等待着外婆新鲜出炉的鱼糕，还没等外婆把鱼糕摆放好，我就会迫不及待地用小手去偷吃，那刚出笼的鱼糕烫的我“嗷嗷”直叫，那鲜美的香味，让我顾不得鱼糕的烫，一口全放进嘴里，“好吃！”我不禁赞叹到。

过年每家每户贴对联也是必不可少的，那红红的对联上写满了祝福的话语，听大人们说过去人们把桃木做成个“符”字挂在门前，每到新年的时候就更换新的，后来慢慢演变成对联这一喜闻乐见的形式。

一天清晨，舅舅和外公把我从睡梦中叫醒，让我和他们下去帮忙贴对联，外公拿着梯子，我拿着剪刀和胶布，舅舅拿着对联，我们一起下楼了。到楼下后，外公把梯子架上，我拿着剪刀和胶布在一旁把胶布剪成一段一段，舅舅拿着对联整理着递给外公，上下左右对齐了，对联贴好了“财源滚滚随春到，喜气羊羊伴福来”对联上的几个大字引人注目，外公站在对联前一个劲的笑，仿佛看见了羊年一家人。这是，灯笼也挂上了，搞定收拾东西上楼去，一上楼，桌子上早已摆放好满满的鱼糕、卤肉、炸肉丸子，我的口水直往外冒，哥哥和我硬是把每个碗里的东西都尝个遍，吃的同时也不忘夸奖外婆做的美味，外婆的嘴都笑的合不拢了。

过年真是一个好日子，为了家人的团员，我们要更加勤奋、努力的学习，让家人们开心，这才叫真正的过年。

早就听说植物园的音乐喷泉很漂亮，但一直没有机会仔仔细细地看看它。这个周末，天气晴好，爸爸妈妈又带我到植物园游玩。这下，我可要好好地一睹音乐喷泉的风采了。

“游客朋友们，音乐喷泉即将开始……”听到喇叭里传来这激动人心的消息，游人们纷纷止住脚步，一道道期盼的目光齐刷刷地向湖面聚焦。“嗖”的一声，只见一条强劲的水柱率先从湖中心蹿了上来，犹如一条白色的小飞龙直冲云霄。接着，又出现了第二条，第三条……看着冲上天空的水柱一次比一次高，人们的欢呼声、尖叫声连成一片。

我一边享受着优美的音乐，一边欣赏着美丽的喷泉，感觉整个人都要陶醉了。看着，看着，我突然觉得这音乐可真像一位指挥家，在它的指挥下，一条条水柱就像一个个活泼的小演员。它们听着指挥，有时快，有时慢，有时高，有时低，有时还手拉着手快乐地跳起了圆圈舞。我又觉得这喷泉就像一位神奇的魔术师。它一会儿用水柱变出一条条拉面，一会儿变出美丽的爱心，一会儿又变出一朵朵绽放的花朵……看，这一排小水柱多么像一个个天真无邪的小孩子，在音乐的魔力中，它们争着跳呀蹦呀，好像在比着高呢……这时候，一阵微风吹来，水便飞花碎玉般洒满四周，如烟、如雾、如尘，在阳光的照射下，一道美丽的彩虹便挂在了我们的眼前，多美呀！

不知不觉中在公园游玩了一个下午，我们怀着依依不舍的心情离开了植物园。回家的路上，我的脑海里仍然跳动着音乐喷泉的美丽景象。
