I love my hometown. She is where I have lived for 18 years with my patents, my good friends, and my teachers who have supported me. She has almost all my memories. No matter where I would go I will never forget her. Yes, everything that it gave me could be given by other places, but my love won’t be changed, because it is my hometown.

It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV.

Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

这是我第一次投稿，是第一篇我向网络写下的文章。说好听点，这是我到达梦想之路的起点——成为一个作家的开始；说难听点，这就是一次试水。毕竟，自己这几两肉，自己还是知道的。

我之所以将标题起做“起点？终点？”，是因为有人都问我同一个问题：“孩子，你长大以后想干什么啊？”

我虽然嘴上说不知道。可是回到家躺到床上，一闭上眼睛，这个声音就不住地在我的耳边徘徊。于是，我心里就琢磨：“这，是个不小的问题。我已然是高一新生，离成年，走向社会也不远了。我人生事业真正的起点在哪里呢？”

那晚，其实是无眠的暗，我眼皮子根本没有闭严实。

第二天早上，我从床上坐起来，瞥见床头那本没读完的书。我把它拿来只是想随便看几眼就放回去，不想却看到这么一句话：“若，万事不先有一个起头；那，你如何才能知晓其终点是怎样一帆风景。”这句话是一位垂危的父亲在病床上，对着自己胆小的小儿子说的。读完，我不仅没有得到满意的答案，反而又开始忧伤起来：我的终点在哪里？我知道，所有人的终点就是死亡，我纵使有着富可敌国的金银，一人之下万人之上的权杖，也走不出死亡的影子。原来我们每个都在死亡的影子下长大。

我想了很久很久，忘了学习和生活。

直到被父母批评的时候，才发现我忧郁的那阵子什么事都没做。成绩是直线下降，个人卫生是一塌糊涂，在学校更是无人问津的地步——我思考那会儿谁也不搭理！

顿时，我才发现想这些有的没的是真没用，不如先做好眼前的事！我不能盯着远方的诗干瞪眼，我也得着手打理眼前的苟且啊！

我恢复正常生活的同时，也得到了关于起点的答案：也许当一名作家是件有意思的事。通过文字的方式，向世界表达出心中所思所想，撰写自己的文字。我不知道自己有没有天赋，但我就是想试试。大概什么时候就成了呢！

至于终点，我暂时得到了这样一个结论：终点，是我们谁也无法触及的。因为这个终点，也许是另一段旅程的起点。死亡不是，死亡就像一种解脱。你看医院里那些受病魔摧残的病人，死亡对他们来说，是一只隐形的援助之手。
