private cars. The demand for a means of transport is met by making millions of

bicycles available. Riding a bicycle has a lot of advantages over driving a car.

car, one tends to gain weight. Besides, it is nmch more economical to ride a

Since I was very small, my parents sent me to learn painting. They thought

I could understand art and mastered one skill. This experience brings me the

sense of art. I have my own understanding of it.

I like reading very much during summer vacation. Let me tell you something

about my reading.

One day, I just finished my meal and went to the front of the bookshelf to

Mid-autumn Festival

At this time the people always eat the moon cake, to enjoy looking at the moon, the family member reunite, because that day moon is roundest.There are also many wonderful stories about midautumn festival,too.It comes today! I bought some firecrackers and lanterns.After the big dinner,I hang up the lanterns togerther with my sister and then shoot off firecrackers with my family.It was really funny.We was eating mooncakes as well as watching TV.I had a good time with the big family .I love the festival ,it stand for the tuneful of us.

And I also meat some of my good friends during the vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether. how time flies! i’m very glad to hear from you again. you want to know what is going on in schools in china? in a word, everything has changed. every school takes part in the campaign of reducing learning load. in the past, i used to study until 11:30 on weekends. but now i can arrange things on my own, such as reading books, visiting museums, or taking computer lessons in my weekend days. in the evening i can watch news on tv or read newspapers. what’s more, my parents support me. they said although i was a student, i didn’t have to work all day long. i think the idea of reducing learning load is well accepted by everyone.

Its almost the end of April. Summer has come to us in my city. In south,

summer always comes earlier than north. It has been hot for about half a month.

The highest temperature reached 37 degree. Now, there are much less people in

the street. People are not likely to go out during the summer. Its so hot

outside. Swimming is the most favorite activity in my city. The pools are always

full filled with people. Parents often take their children to swimming pool at

night. Personally, I do not like summer, because its too hot and the sunshine

is strong. I sweat a lot and that makes me very uncomfortable. Therefore, summer

is tough time for me and I always expect winter to come.

Recently, we have little time to keep close contact with nature. We spend

too much time on study or working. We almost forget that how green the grass is,

how beautiful the flowers are, and how sweetly the birds are singing outside our

windows. A saying goes, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". It means

that we need to relax ourselves and go out to breathe more fresh air. We can

also climb a hill in the suburbs.Its good for our health.
