To tell you the truth, I dont like the Spring Festival at all. When I was young I liked it very much,because I could had something tasty to eat during the Spring Festival,and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes,too,I also could had much free time during which I could did something I liked to do. Firstly, I cant have a good time during the Festival. Every New Years Eve something unpleasant often happens. Once I quarreled with my second brother.

My son Joey was born with club feet. The doctors assured us that with treatment he would be able to walk normally — but would never run very well. Two weeks later, the names of the team runners were called. Joey was number six on the list. Joey had made the team. He was in seventh grade — the other six team members were all eighth—graders. 我的儿子琼尼降生时，他的双脚向上弯弯着，医生向我们保证说经过治疗，小琼尼可以像常人一样走路，但像常人一样跑步的可能性则微乎其微。琼尼3岁之前一直在接受治疗，和支架、石膏模子打交道。七八岁的时候，他走路的样子已让人看不出他的腿有过毛病。

邻居的小孩子们做游戏的时候总是跑过来跑过去。毫无疑问小琼尼看到他们玩就会马上加进去跑啊闹的。我们从不告诉他不能像别的孩子那样跑，我们从不说他和别的孩子不一样。因为我们不对他说，所以他不知道。

七年级的时候，琼尼决定参加跑步横穿全美的比赛。每天他和大伙一块训练。也许是意识到自己先天不如别人，他训练得比任何人都刻苦。训练队的前7名选手可以参加最后比赛，为学校拿分。我们没有告诉琼尼;也许会落空，所以他不知道。

他坚持每天跑4~5英里。我永远不会忘记有一次，他发着高烧，但仍坚持训练。我为他担心，于是去学校看他，发现他正在一个人沿着长长的林荫道跑步呢。我问他感觉怎么样，"很好。"他说。还剩下最后两英里。他满脸是汗，眼睛因为发烧失去了光彩。然而他目不斜视，坚持着跑下来。我们从没有告诉他不能发着高烧去跑4英里的路，我们从没有这样对他说，所以他不知道。

两个星期后，在决赛前的3天，长跑队的名次被确定下来。琼尼是第六名，他成功了。他才是个七年级生，而其余的人都是八年级生。我们从没有告诉他不要去期望入选，我们从没有对他说他不会成功。是的，从没说起过……所以他不知道，但他却做到了!

Every May in Chinese lunar calendar is Dragon Boat Festival, do you know anything about it? Let me speak for you.

Once upon a time, there was a patriotic poet Qu Yuan, once he went to Beijing to go to work, see a decline of state variable, then vote Miluo River to commit suicide. Before he died, he wrote a poem. People in order to commemorate the patriotic poet, the annual Lunar New Year in May at the beginning of a dragon boat festival.

The main contents of the Dragon Boat Festival is the dragon boat racing, zongzi.

Dragon boat racing scene is very lively, crowded shore. Just listen to the sound of gunfire, paddled boat people desperately, but the river is full of cheering.

Rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves, is for filling, with glutinous rice. When the package is very sticky, not professionals, but the package is not good!

The annual Christmas carnival comes again! Everybody happy rich robes, ready to celebrate Christmas.

In our class popped up an elegant princess and a handsome prince, and a lovely elf tree, bad wizard, cool without face, kind man wizards and the ancients, and so on, all clothes are carefully designed, really very good, our sweet teacher, is dressed as Santa old woman, together with our Christmas, ready to end, we are mighty to the playground.

In this years Christmas carnival arranged many wonderful performances, there are jumping rope team fancy rope skipping! Their performance to my eyes for one of the bright, the podium and lively kindergarten children, brought exciting dance for us, there are some popular pop songs from sixth grade, make me crazy, shows a than a wonderful festival, Christmas carnival is really very busy this time, is also my primary school life last Christmas, I will be fine to this unforgettable memory in my childhood memories in the box.

Thank the teacher always encourages us to participate in many activities, let us childhood full of laughter, let me can always be full of bags and benefited from these activities more gave me many precious memories.

一年一度的圣诞嘉年华又来临了!每一位同学欢天喜地换上华丽的衣裳，准备庆祝热闹的圣诞节。

我们班上蹦出一位高雅的公主和帅气的王子，还有可爱的树精灵、厉害万法的魔法师、耍酷的无脸男、善良的巫师及古人等等，大家的衣服都是精心设计，真的十分出色，我们甜美的田老师，则是扮成圣诞老婆婆，与我们一起迎接圣诞节，整装完毕后，我们浩浩荡荡的往操场集合。

今年的圣诞嘉年华里安排了许多精彩无比的表演，有跳绳队的花式跳绳哦!他们的表演令我的眼睛为之一亮，主席台上还有活泼可爱的幼儿园小朋友，为我们带了精彩的舞蹈，还有部分六年级带来的流行劲歌热舞，令我为之疯狂，表演节一个比一个精彩，这次的圣诞嘉年华真是热闹非凡，也是我小学生活里最后一个圣诞节，我会好好的将这美好难忘的回忆收进我的童年回忆箱里。

感谢老师总是鼓励我们参与许多的活动，让我们的童年充满欢笑，让我总是可以从这些活动中收获满行囊，更给了我许多弥足珍贵的回忆。

Some people think that keeping pets is a good thing. They say that it is an

hobby which should had. They also claim that pets make lives more colorful and

entertaining for both women and men.

有些人认为养宠物是一件美好的事情。他们说，(养宠物)是一个应该拥有的爱好。他们也声称养宠物可以使生活更加多彩，并给男人和女人带来更多趣味。

On the other hand, there are many people who say that pets should be

banned. They point out that pets are responsible for disease which hurt

property, and for injuries suffered both by the people who kept them and by

innocent other people. They also say that pets are a waste of money and

resources.

My own point of view is that we should had the hobby of keeping pets. While
