Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reservoirs out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. The pollution of water is equally harmful. The whole ecological balance of the sea is being changed and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless.

Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know, massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence. The news that Mr Cai had passed away was known, and I fell into great

sorrow. The sound of the rain knocking on the window was so mournful that it

deepened my distress.

My memory brought me back to the class when I saw him for the last

time.

That evening it was raining, too. We started our lesson as usual at a

quarter past six. I sat in the first row, and I saw Mr Cai press his stomach

best students.” I think I should work hard at English and live up to his

expectation .

I have lost a good teacher. Tears will dry up in time, but the memory will

stay for ever.

Today is Saturday, I don’t need to go to school, so I decided to take some morning exercises. Early in the morning, I went out of the house and looked around, the city was so quiet. With few cars, the air was fresh, I felt so comfortable. Besides the people who took the morning exercise, I found some people who worn the orange uniform, they were working. This was the first time for me to see the cleaners work in the morning, they were easily neglected, because they worked so early and when the time for people to go to work, cleaners rested. Watching these cleaners working, I feel so thankful for them, they were doing the greatest job. People praised them as the city’s dressers, they kept the city clean all the time and brought comfort to people. They are the respectable people, we should applause for them.

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. i wake up 11 oclock am everyday, after a washing, i have a good lunch with my parents. next i play computer games till the time to have supper. after have dinner. i go on playing till 2 oclock am, and then go to sleep with tired. this is one dull day of my winter vacation.

But i havent bored all the time. sometimes i read the books, sometime i listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. and i also meat some of my good friends during the vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether. and i watched the spring festival party of the cctv in the last seconds of the 2004 year! i think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

去年的时候，爸爸买了一栋度假别墅，成为全家假日休闲的好地方。

到了周六下午，爸爸开车到了别墅，这栋别墅四周都是田园，视野非常好。再向前望去，便是连绵的青山，若是由后方阳台向左望去，田园的背后是热闹的市区。

太阳渐渐落下，我站在阳台眺望，直到天涯的云，已经被太阳染成了火红。在田间的流水，也似乎流着红红的火，太阳已经落下，天空位置较低的云已经失去光彩，但是更高远的云却仍旧艳红，这时月亮已在红霞之上微笑。

夜里，我们到了市区的夜市，这里虽然没有很大，但是贩卖的商品却是琳琅满目。我们找了一家牛排摊，也许肉质并没有那么精致，却便宜、量又多而美味。我们总是在夜市里逛一、两个小时才回家。

住这里，起床都特别早。这时太阳还没出来，而窗景之外，是伸手不见五指的浓雾。于是我穿好了鞋子，走在乡间的小路上。在朦胧的雾中，空气非常清新，四周优雅的树形，让我有如身在仙境。回到房前，太阳出来了，雾也散了，白白的山岚挂在山腰。

吃了早餐，走去自己最爱的花园，在那里有葡萄树、樱花树，也有曾出现在《天龙八部》的方形竹子。看着这里美丽的花花草草，不免觉得心旷神怡。

别墅，没有电视和电脑的干扰——可以使我好好享受田园之美，同时也可以抒解一周来的疲劳，体验“采菊东篱下，悠然见南山。”的田园生活。

Chinese New Year starts with the new moon on the first day of the new year

and ends on the the full days later. In china,people regard Spring Festival as

the most important thing.People studied and worked throughout the year.No matter

how far and how busy, they must do their best to go back home.Thats a tradition

and now becoming a habit. During this time,transport is extremely busy.Although

the way is difficult,it cant reduce the urgent feeling of going home.I cant

describe this feeling,only the people that experienced it can

understand.Actually,on one hand,people miss their family,and they need to get

comfort in the family.On the other hand,getting together is a symbol of

blessedness and auspiciousness.People in other country dont have this

consciousness that going home is necessary.For example,American could celebrate

the Christmas in everywhere they like or with anybody.This diversity is

On Spring festivals eve,the whole family prepare the dinner.Of

course,dumplings is essential.In the

evening,family members always sit at the television and watch Spring

Festival Gala.At 0:00,people set off firecrackers and fireworks,at the same

time,children pay New Year,s call to old people.The old people give money to the

children as a lunar new year gift.Usually,people stay up late or all night.

On lunar New Years Day, the Chinese family eat vegetarian dumplings which

imply they will plain and neat in this year. People change their new

clothes,this stands for a new beginning.Next,people visit relatives with some

gifts.The second day is son-in-laws festival,the husband and married women

visit their side of the family.In a word,Chinese attach great importance to

记忆的沙滩上，波浪冲刷着回忆的贝壳，我捡起一颗，打开一看，哦!那是一个让我感动的日子……

一天晚上，肚子阵阵剧烈的疼痛把我从甜美的梦中揪了出来，我痛得在床上翻来覆去，终于，忍不住了，捂着肚子冲进了卫生间，吐了……

第二天早晨，没精打采的我老早就醒来了。妈妈昨晚得很熟，没有发觉我生病了。但天气好像发觉了，变得阴沉了许多，太阳好像也怕被我传染，戴上了口罩。我不想让妈妈操心，硬着头皮吃了饭，迎着刺骨的寒冷，走向学校。

在学校里，老师讲的课我无心听下去，只因这可恨的肚子又开始打内战了。轮到班主任的课了，我更加强忍着听讲，总担心老师那双慧眼瞧出我的心不在焉。可偏偏越加掩饰，就越容易露馅。

“方嘉惠，回答我刚才的问题。”

“……”

我根本无心听讲，老师提的问题我怎么会知道呢?老师开始批评我，我心里有一种说不出来的难受。

刚刚坐下来，还没等凳子焐热，我就当着老师的面来了个“一泻千里”，“噗”的一声吐了满地，全班同学的目光不约而同地向我看来，我捂着嘴向外面跑去，背后传来老师响亮的声音：“这孩子，生病了也不早说……”

随着一声“报告”，我走进了教室，老师依旧在讲台上热情地讲着课，被打扫过的地面是那么干净，同学们的神态依旧是那么专注，只是在我的课桌中央多了一杯冒着热气的茶水，里面装着琥珀色的液体，闻起来，香香的;尝起来，苦苦的;回味起来，甜甜的……

我感受到了!它不仅是一杯苦茶，它还是一份无言的关爱!

终于受不了，我开始发抖，鸡皮疙瘩都起来了，我却不愿低头认怂。心中正埋怨天气的残忍时，伙伴不动声色的把她的外套脱给我。“赶紧穿上，如果着凉了，我可是不负责的!”伙伴边说边把她的外套往我身上套。“不用了，我真的不冷!”我故作倔强地说。伙伴的嘴巴撅起来了，足以挂上一个大大的红苹果。我知道，伙伴这是生气了，于是我便乖乖的穿上那件“美丽”的外套。

这难道不是生活的美丽吗?

穿着伙伴“美丽”的外套，我们肩并肩的前行。路边，一个小吃店散出阵阵诱人的香味，把小伙伴的脚绑住了。她望着橱窗里的美味，驻足不前，眼里散发出阵阵光芒，嘴巴不停的蠕动着。“走吧，我请你吃，就当我报答你的‘借衣’之情了!”

小吃店的老板是一位白发苍颜的老人，脸上挂着平易近人的笑容。他热情的为我们张罗着座位，和蔼地说：“来，先坐下，我先给你们倒杯热茶，暖暖身子。”说着便娴熟的给我们倒了热茶，我细细的品味着这杯沁人心脾的热茶，感受到了一份热情和真诚，感受到了生活的美丽……

这正是生活的美丽。

在我们的生活中，有着太多太多值得收藏的美。但快节奏的生活，使很多人忘却了品味和享受，更是忘了生活的美。

Last Qingming Festival,i return home to worship my grandfather.Qingming

Festival is a folk Festival.In the past,the Qingming Festival was called "Arbor

Day". But Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any underbrush

that has grown. Weeds are pulled, and dirt swept away, and the family will set

out offerings of food and spirit money. Unlike the sacrifices at a familys home

altar, the offerings at the tomb usually consist of dry, bland food. One theory

is that since any number of ghosts rome around a grave area, the less appealing

food will be consumed by the ancestors, and not be plundered by strangers.

With the passing of time, this celebration of life became a day to the

honor past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese believed that the

spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. Sacrifices of food and

spirit money could keep them happy, and the family would prosper through good

harvests and more children.

离开母校差不多两年，我却始终难以忘记母校的生活。为了铭记母校，我保留下一本德育周记，这可是初三时的“得意之作”。

化学才开设但又是初三考试次数最多的科目，而且化学老师也是逢考试必公布排名的人。因此，我每逢老师都心有余悸，害怕自己成了“尾巴”。某一节化学课是一次复习阶段的单元测试。当时的题目相当容易，我得到87分。发试卷那天，老师仍然公布了名次。我好几天都只是远远地盯着那张纸，心里踌躇不定：究竟看不看呢?终于，我说服了自己——自己的成绩不错，排名一定靠前。

走到跟前一看，靠前名次没有我的份，再往后一看，一下子惊诧住：我排在倒数第六名。我瞟了瞟“尾巴”，也是惊讶不已——又是杨。

我实在无法抑制心中的郁闷，便激起诗人惯有的多愁善感，拿起一支属于自己的笔，去解读自己的内心世界。我在周记里表露了差生在考试挫败前的无奈、无助、孤独，也有积极的一面，并在结尾写道：

我们不得不向前挪步，哪怕我们起步慢了。我们仍然要用汗水和泪水去书写咱们的生活。

当翻开发回来的周记，发现胡老师在最后一句的下面画了波浪线，批道：“令我赞赏。”接着几行生动的点评映入我的眼帘：“同在蓝天下，同是一朵花。要记住：你是一朵花，一朵不会凋零的花，即使是，花凋了有果，果落了有籽，籽落了生根。”这番话使我感到丝丝惊喜，胡老师以长辈独特的眼光发觉了我的长处，我写作的自信最初来自于胡老师的这句话。

像胡老师所言，天底下每一个人都是一朵花，但并不是每人都是一朵不会凋零的花。这需要我们一如既往地为花朵挥洒汗水和泪水。人生难免有挫折，站在痛苦的边际上，不要丧失目标，停

止

奋斗。我们要擦干鼻涕、眼泪，不怜惜汗水和泪水，踏着先前曾经摔过跤、印满了冷暖的脚印继续前进。人不是为失败而生，你可以被消灭，但不能被打败。要记住。你是一朵扎根深处、循环不息、生机盎然的花。

现在，我仍不丢弃老师的忠告。我觉得，不只是自己为花朵，老师的话也好像一名在平凡岗位上辛劳了二三十的园丁精心栽培出来的一朵花，而园丁则慷慨地赐给了我这个毛头小孩。我实在感激不已。我希望，在不久将来，在迎来人生的春华秋实、花芳果香的丰收季节时，我的第一朵鲜花应当敬给我那可敬而又可爱的胡老师。

前几天,我们来到了雨花营地，开始了我们那累而快乐的`军人生活，以下使我映像最深的三件事。

站军姿我们刚到那儿，总教官就让我们立正半个小时，并且不能动。我听了，本以为肯轻松。可是，还没有到20分钟的时候，我顿时感到天旋地转、双腿发软，眼前的一切一会近，一会远。我那机械支撑的身体也开始左右摇摆。我缓缓地举起手，教官看见了，把我送到了医务室。医生摸了摸我的头，说是早上没有吃饱，有些低血糖了。信号刚才报告得及时，不然就要晕倒了。说着，她倒了一杯糖盐水给我喝，以补充体力。回到寝室，大家都很关心我，我非常感动。上厕所第一天晚上，教官对我们说：“晚上去上厕所一定要轻开门、轻走路、轻上床，明白？”“明白！”我们回答，半夜，我去上厕所。

突然，我一个黑影正在蹑手蹑脚地向前走。我以为是贼，生怕被他看见。可就在这个时候，口袋里的笔掉了下来，那人听见了，我急忙躲到墙后，他回头一看，没有发现我，便继续向前走。我探出头来，见他像厕所方向走去，便开始跟踪他，不想却和他碰了个正着，我们两个都吓了一跳，可定神一看原来是隔壁班的刘志凯，他也认出了我。我们不约而同地说：“吓死我了，还以为有贼呢！”回学校第三天下午，我们要返校了。这时，几位女同学哭了起来。慢慢地，越来越多的同学被感染了，也开始号啕大哭。

这一哭久久不能平息，直到我们回到学校了还能听到“乐教官、李教官”之类的声音。在军营里我们不但学到了许多知识，还体会到了军人铁的纪律、和那流血、流汗不流泪的精神。
