笑翠鸟，别名笑狗鱼鸟(laughing jackass),是澳洲独有的鸟类。它的叫声嘶哑(hoarse)，因而在电影和电视中表现丛林的声音时，它的叫声通常被用作背景音。它的身长有46公分，体重约500克，是翠鸟(kingfisher)家族中体型最大的一种，主要生活在澳洲东部，但现在已经被成功引进澳洲西部。它不吃鱼，主要捕食老鼠、小鸟、蛇和昆虫，但在西部，它们也捕食鸡和鸭子。

我邻居家养了一只大狗，每天我和朋友都要和大狗玩上一阵。

这只狗的毛发雪白，像披了一件白色的大衣。眼睛又大又圆，像两颗黑色的宝石，在眼眶里滴溜滴溜地打转，好像在想什么“鬼点子。它的眼下还有一个黑黑的鼻子，下面还有一张三瓣嘴，还有强壮的四肢，短短的尾巴，看起来威风凛凛。

但是它非常的贪吃，有次，我和我的朋友在玩游戏的时候，一边吃零食，它就跑过来用头来蹭我腿，用可怜兮兮的眼神看着我，仿佛在说：“给我一点吧，我太饿了。”我问我的朋友：“它不是才吃过一大盆点心吗？”“是呀，谁让它贪吃呢！”邻居说。于是，我把半条牛肉干给了它，没想到的是，一秒钟它就吃完了，又盯着我手上的牛肉干，没办法，我只好也给了它。

它不仅贪吃，还很好动，而且“武术”练得可强了，它冲上去迎敌的时候，一会儿用“降龙十八掌“，一会儿又是飞毛腿，把另一只狗打的节节败退，没过一会儿就跑了。有时他又是一匹“千里马”，我们等它一不注意，一下骑到它背上，坐上它一跑一跑的，跑了好久都不觉得累，真是一匹真正的“千里马”！

这就是我的动物朋友，它叫“乐乐”，它是多么的活泼啊！

冬天来了,北风呼呼地吹着,地上都是落叶,小动物们都忙着准备过冬的食物.小蟋蟀很无聊,就想:那我就去拜访一下朋友吧!
