1.象喝水时，先用鼻子吸尽水面的灰尘，噗地吐到一边去，等水干净了，再喝，喝足以后，就使劲地咝咝从鼻子里往外喷水，简直像用胶皮管子洒水一样，弄得头上、胸前到处是水，为的是使身体凉爽些。来到象房，我们看到一头年轻而健壮的象，它有着墙壁似的躯干，柱子似的腿，蒲扇似的大耳朵，白玉似的大牙齿。大鼻子又粗又长，能伸、能卷，非常有趣。
