rapidly epanding industries which involve more and more comple chemical processes will produce large volumes of liquid wastes. many of thesewitt contain chemicals that are poisonous. to feed our rapidly epanding population, agriculture will have to be intensified.

this will involve ever increasing quantities of agriculture chemicals. from this, it is apparent that drastic steps must be taken immediately to develop corrective measures for the pollution problems.

there are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. the first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. this involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal.

the second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained.

liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. only by doing these promptly now can we epect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

As time goes by,there are going to be big changes in our everyday life.For example,when we are hungry,we dont need to cook in a hurry.Just take some pills,and everything will be OK.When we are free,we can go anywhere by spacecraft.It will be very cheap,just like taking a taxi now.And of course,if we want to see what is like under the sea,just travel down there in a flying object like UFO.Maybe there will be a lot of cities and people living there.I think itll be very easy to travel anywhere,not only in our world,but also in space and in the deep sea.

The International Childrens Day (ICD) is celebrated in numerous countries, usually (but not always) on June 1 each year.

The ICD had its origin in the World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children in Geneva, Switzerland in 1925. It is not clear as to why June 1 was chosen as the ICD: one theory has it that the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco (USA) gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in 1925, which happened to be on June 1 that year, and also coincided with the conference in Geneva.

June 1 has since been observed as the ICD by numerous countries, especially by Communist countries; in the Western world the ICD is usually celebrated on other days of the year (if at all)， and there is often little public awareness about these celebrations. Morover Motorola is a global company, so I feel I can gain the most from working in this kind of company ennvironment. That is the reason why I come here to compete for this position.
