My college is inside the biggest university of Guangxi so that everytime I have to across a big campus to go out. At first I am upset about that, but later on I get used to it. My college looks modernization in general. When I arrive at the school gate, the first thing is the boys’ dormitory and then is the playground. Look up! I see the canteen. I see the girls’ dormitory turn left. But where is my classroom? I look around but can’t find it. It turns out that it is separated by burrows. It’s strange, right? While I go across the burrow, I see another two big playgrounds and a tennis court at my left side. What is in my right side? Turn right, I see rows of teaching building connecting with the library. This is mycollege. I like it not only because of the evironment but also the people there.

我的大学是在广西最大的大学里面，以至于每次我要出去的时候都要经过一个大校园。一开始的时候我很烦这一点，但后来我习惯了。整体来看我的大学是现代化的。我到达学校门口时，映入眼帘的是男生宿舍，然后是操场。抬头!我看到 了食堂。左转我看到了女生宿舍。但是教室在哪里呢?我环顾四周，却找不到。原来它被一个地洞给隔开了。很奇怪，对吧?我走过地洞，我看到了另外两个大操场，一个网球场在我的左边。在我右边的是什么?向右转，我看到了一排排的教学楼连接着图书馆。这是我的大学。我喜欢它，不仅仅是因为那里的 环境而且还是因为那里的人。

Both the teachers and students there are very nice. My roomates always help me in the daily life, the thing they usually do is wake me up in the morning. Other classmates always help me, when I meet trouble in study. My teachers are all kind and knowlegeable. Especially my head teacher, he talks with us and plays sports with us in order to make us get used to the new life.

最近，我有幸读了明代著名作家施庵爷爷写的《水浒传》，深有感触。

《水浒传》是中国最早的用白话文写成的章回体小说，主要讲述了一个官逼民反的故事。不学无术的无赖高俅因球踢得好，被封为太尉，他倚仗权势压榨和迫害民众，激起了民众的反抗。反抗者包括了及时雨宋江、智多星吴用、行者武松、豹子头林冲等一百零八位英雄好汉。但是最终，他们的起义没有成功。

《水浒传》全书重点描写了一百零八位梁山好汉。每个人物都描写得栩栩如生，脾气性情各不相同。连大评论家金圣叹都赞美道：“《水浒传》真是一百零八人，一百零八样。”接下来就让我介绍介绍我印象最深的人物吧！

”明知山有虎，偏向虎山行”说的就是武松，武松是我最喜欢的人物。“只见武松跃起，闪到老虎背后，老虎前爪伏地，用后爪猛掀过来。武松又纵身避开······”这是武松打虎的精彩片段，从这个片段中，我们仿佛看到了武松打虎的精彩画面。作者将武松打虎的过程描写得惟妙惟肖，让我看到了一个英勇无畏的武松，尽管他看见告示上写了山上有虎，也不退缩，勇敢前行。这个片段也让我看见了一个不仅力量大如牛，而且还富有智慧的武松，因为他面对强大的老虎，不是硬拼，而是智取。武松不断躲闪，耗尽了老虎的体力，然后将老虎打死。再后来，武松还把恶霸西门庆打死了，一共为民除了两大害。武松这种为民除害的行为令我佩服。

除了武松，吴用和晁盖等人也是“明知山有虎，偏向虎山行”的绿林好汉。他们冒着极大的风险去劫取那些腐败朝政上的贪官污吏搜刮来的民脂民膏。这民脂民膏是送给权臣蔡京的，护送这生辰纲的是武艺高强的青面兽杨志和一伙强壮的军汉，可见取这生辰纲的不易。最后，吴用等人智取了生辰纲，并将这些不义之财发给了穷人们。这个故事写出了当时朝政的腐败无能，也写出了这些绿林好汉路见不平、拔刀相助的精神和推翻腐败统治的决心。他们冒着这么大的风险去劫取生辰纲，事后还接济穷人，他们的一举一动都令我钦佩。

在我们的生活中，有许许多多像武松和吴用这样“明知山有虎，偏向虎山行”的英雄，还有白衣天使、消防战士、警察叔叔等等。其中我对钟南山爷爷印象最深。2020年，面对新型冠状病毒的肆虐，耄耋之年的他冒着被传染的风险奔赴武汉，抢救病人，真是令我感动。是《水浒传》让我明白了遇到困难要像武松和吴用那样勇敢面对，只有用“明知山有虎，偏向虎山行”的心态面对困难和挑战，才会迎来胜利的希望。

I am a student in a college, and Im very happy becouse of my good life in my college.

In the morning, I always go to my college by bike and watch the sights on my way to there. Then, Ill have lessons, this isnt a boring thing, becouse the teachers in my college are all friendly and funny, thier lessons are all interesting and relaxing, of course. So, I like to have lessons. After a happy morning, a happy afternoon will come. I dont have to have lessons in the afternoon. So, I often spent time with my friends to make our friendship much and much. I am convinced that few books are as good as this one. To be honest, I hadn’t maintained that this book would appeal me before I read it. However, I was absorbed in the book from the first chapter to the last one. Why this book has appealed to me that much? I asked myself. This book is not my type of reading for only romantic books could draw my attention successfully. Then I came into a conclusion that it is the friendship and familyship fascinated me.

To the world you are one person, but to the person who loves you, you are the world. Amir was Hassan’s world. Amir’s name had been the first word Hassan spoke. Hassan threatened brutal Assef for the sake of Amir. Hassan never failed to run the kite to please Amir. Hassan sacrificed himself for Amir’s house. These are more than a friend would do. Amir didn’t deserve what Hassan did to him. I thought his meanness caused Hassan’s tragedy. But after I finished the book, I realized it is not Hassan’s tragedy, it is Amir’s. For what he had done to Hassan, he had led a live with regret and suffered endless sleepless nights. His going back to Afghanistan is not only a journey physically but a journey to atonement. Hassan’s son, his nephew saved, Amir’s sin was finally washed. Like the life of circle, Amir ran kite for his miserable nephew.As Hassan did to him, he said “for you , a thousand times over” to Sohrab.Though the book doesn’t give us an accurate ending whether Sohrab came into life again. I am sure love can cure everything. Only when Sohrab lives a happy life as Hassan hoped can Amir’s sin washed up.

The friendship between Hassan and Amir moved me. I believe All the people who read it is going to be touched just as I am. This book does make me think the good and the bad ,what’s wrong and what’s right, the cruelty of war . Few books can exert an influence on people nowadays, this book sure does.

The author pays homage to Hans Christian Andersens compassionate tale with this faithful adaptation. Kids can relate to the ducklings dilemma; part of the growing-up process is pulling away from those around you and developing a strong sense of self. Children have also witnessed or experienced the teasing that is part and parcel of childhood.

The glowing watercolors, filled with intricate details, make each blade of grass visible, and the delicately drawn, nearly transparent mosquitoes are as ethereal as they are in life. The subtle details incorporated into the scenes--a frog catching a passing fly at the pond and a tiny mouse perched by a crate in the old womans cottage--make children take another look.

One day he heard a sound of whirring wings, and up in the air he saw a flock of birds flying high. They were as bright as the snow that had fallen during the night, and their long necks were stretched southward. Oh, if only he could go with them! But what sort of companion could he be to those beautiful beings?

Oliver Twist one of the most famous works of Charles Dickens’ is a novel reflecting the tragic fact of the life in Britain in 18th century. The author who himself was born in a poor family wrote this novel in his twenties with a view to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in London. The hero of this novel was Oliver Twist an orphan who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime. He suffered enormous pain such as hunger thirst beating and abuse. While reading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver I was shocked by his sufferings. I felt for the poor boy but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill. To my relief as was written in all the best stories the goodness eventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end. One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs. Maylie and Rose and began a new life. He went for walks with them or Rose read to him and he worked hard at his lessons. He felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty. How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. Although I don’t think goodness is omnipotent yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded. For me the nature of goodness is one of the most necessary character for a person. Goodness is to humans what water is to fish. He who is without goodness is an utterly worthless person. On the contrary as the famous saying goes ‘The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose’ he who is with goodness undoubtedly is a happy and useful person. People receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself.

I was experiencing the feeling of paradox after reading the book. I felt my eyes wet when I read his stories, about how Mr. Jobs was able to overcome the challenges in life. These are challenges that I, you, and a lot of us will never encountered, but I understand how it must feel to be in the middle of the situations, and how it must feel being hopeless. This understanding has led me to the being moved by Steve Jobs’s bra一veness and persistence. The power of his dream had proved beyond anything, illness, unfairness and death. He continued to love his career even after being diagnosed cancer, and used his power and strengths to change the world by changing how all of us see it.

He was a nerd, a crazy man, a paranoid, but there was no evidence that would show him not being one of the greatest man in human history. Even though people found themselves tired working with Mr. Jobs （he was such a paranoid）， they loved him, as he could bring the novelty to this world and make a difference. To the great man who changed the world with mac and ipod, to the hero of the electronic industry, to Steve Jobs, you will always be my hero.

In the book, and Im impressed with a person, he is silver. Silver looks graceful on the surface, like a gentleman, but hes murderous pirate leader. In the ship as a cook, he, usually, people on board the ship like a family, but, in his convened a bunch of pirates, to treasure island, but decide to deny, and Jim they played out.

Everywhere in our life, but also has a "hypocrite", such as silver we should see through their camouflage, dont be fooled disguise.

周末读了《金银岛》这本书，让我深有感悟。

《金银岛》讲的是一个关于寻宝的故事。一个叫弗林特的海盗船长在金银岛上买了价值70万英镑的宝藏，故事的主人公吉姆偶然得到了一个藏宝图，和一些人一起寻宝。寻宝者和海盗展开了一场生死搏斗，最后，寻宝者终于找到了宝藏。

我最喜欢故事中的吉姆，他聪明机智而且很勇敢，比如说，在他们登上金银岛后，和海盗交战，有一天，吉姆出了他们的营地，到晚上，他却闯入了海盗的营地，海盗头子因为很喜欢吉姆所以没有杀他，想让他加入海盗，他却临危不乱，坚决不加入海盗。他的这一点让我非常敬佩。还有，当帆船被海盗占领，吉姆又把船的锚索隔断，让船随风摇晃，把海盗晃晕，海盗们被晃了一夜，加上喝了酒，第二天船就被吉姆抢了回来。

Mr Shao taught me English when I was in Senior Three.With the bald head and hunchback, the fifty or some man distinguished himself from his counterparts in many ways.

He was so addicted to tobacco that he couldn`t even skip acigarette in the corridor at the interval between two classes. Due to the long time consumption of cigarettes, his teeth had gone totally bad and occasionally let off unpleasant smell which really disturbed us when we were talking to him. At times, he came to recognize it and consequently found out a solution. He suggested we write down our problems and he answer them in the written form. Although I knew all along that he was a careful man, his quotations of five different dictionaries on a single multiple choice problem was still beyond my wildest dream.

What`s more, none of us could imagine how excellent his ancient Chinese literature was. What he tended to do in his class was to recite several segments of the famous ancient prose and then put them into English.  However, under the pressure of College Entrance Exam, the students didn`t seem to be so interested in his performance.  Therefore, he tried to stimulate the class by editions of Times as prizes for answering questions. It worked on us instantly.

On the day of the entrance exam, he waited nervously with us out of the examination room.  He kept reminding us not to drink water in case that we would feel like going to toilet during the exam. Not withstanding his constant claims that we students were far less important than his beloved daughter, we did feel his devotion to us.

Every Girl Can Be A Princess

A Little Princess is a touching novel written by Frances Hodgson Burnett—a famous novelist and dramatist. It obviously contains lots of fancied plots, but the parts it talks about creating miracles, can really reach the bottom of my heart. The book can bring me into a world that is more than reality while reading it. The extraordinary story makes me ponder a lot and gives me a deep impression that every girl can be a princess.

In my opinion, it is impossible for every rich girl to act like a well-behaved princess, but Sara, the heroine of the novel, did it! She was an imaginative little girl who had such intelligent small face and such perfect manners. Sara was a very nice girl who had a gentle, appreciative ways of saying, such as “If you please” “Thank you” which was very charming. So, not only her teachers and classmates liked her, but also her servants liked her. There was a time when Sara became a poor and pitiful servant insulted by the snobbish headmaster of the school. In spite of this, she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured. Sara was confident, brave, optimistic and kind-hearted just like before and she had never given up her enthusiasm of life. No matter when, Sara acted like a princess, and on account of this, she had accomplished a great deal of miracles over and over again.

After reading this outstanding book, I was shocked by Sara, a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain and tortures, but still had an opposite attitude towards life. What impresses me most is that Sara put on her act of being a princess when she wore thin bottom shoes, wading in the street of London. From my point of view, her spirit of being so strong-minded when she was in hard times is worth admiring.

Truly, every girl is a princess coming into common life. The “princess” I mean is not a princess living in the palace and being regarded as the apple of everyone’s eye. As the matter of fact, the “princess” is at heart. I am in the belief that every ordinary girl in the world can be a princess. The way for a girl to be a princess is quite simple. Just suppose! You can suppose yourself to be a princess, and go about your business confidently without caring how the others would treat you. If you want to have more resemblance to a princess, be more kind and try your best to help the people in need. The most important thing you are supposed to do is that to feel like a real princess at any occasion, particularly when you are involved with enormous melancholy. Do not feel the conditions you faced are extremely wretched and attempt to get rid of the feeling of hopelessness and uneasiness. The less you look like a princess, the more you need to feel like a princess at heart.

Every girl can be a princess if she can do all I mentioned, no matter she is rich, beautiful or not. To speak truthfully, I cannot do as well as Sara. However, I will exert myself on being a princess mentally.

Do not feel depressed any more, to be a well-thought-of princess like Sara. You can do it, because Every Girl Can Be A princess.

The Metamorphosis, written in 1912, is one of Kafka’s masterpieces. It talks about Gregor Samsa. One morning, when he woke up, he found himself transformed into a gigantic insect. At first, his parents and sister were filled with compassion and they cared for him. But at last, they regarded him as a burden, leaving him alone. In the end, he died in loneliness quietly. First of all, the tragedy of Gregor Samsa is just the epitome of Kafka himself. In his whole life, he lived just like an insect. He can’t realize his dream because of the poor situation, and he didn’t have possession of love. So he thought he was small and had no confidence. Although Satan may be an epic machine, he is best portrayed as the tragic anti-hero of paradise Lost. The critics in the world have been concerning the image of Satan in Paradise Lost, whose complexity makes the poem more controversial.The reason why the image under Milton’s pen is so complex is that the Satan attracts the poet’s inner force, which drives him to change the people’s traditional ideas and cause resonance of all the revolutionaries.

the Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingways most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. My first impression of this story was from screen.

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.

For most university students, dormitory life is a new experience. Most students have never lived far away from their parents before coming to university. They have always had their parents to depend on for advice and guidance, and when they become university students, their lives begin to change.

There are striking difference between home life and dormitory life. Student must begin to be responsible for their own action. They must depend on themselves to get up in the morning on, time for class, to eat properly, to keep their clothes and themselves clean ,and to set aside an appropriate amount of time for study and relaxation. They must also learn to take care of their money, making sure to preserve enough for both necessities and for fun.

In general, there are both good and bad points about life in student dormitory. Often, dormitory?rooms are small and crowded. This lack of space can limit ones privacy and make it?difficult for students to concentrate on their studies. On the other hand, in a dormitory, student have a great deal more freedom than?they might have at home. They can act according to their own will and desire than to that of parents.

《英语课程标准》的教学建议中提到“尊重每个学生，建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道。”平时学生如果主动帮我拿教具，我会向他致谢“Thank you”，若不小心撞到了学生，我会很抱歉地道声“Sorry”……虽然是点点滴滴的小事情小细节，但我希望从中带给学生“师生平等”的观念。

老师因为尊重学生而更关注他们的个性发展，学生因为受到老师的尊重会更乐意亲近老师，也就更加尊敬老师，这种心灵上的沟通和交流，一旦形成健康的双向互动，正面效应就会成倍增长，师生关系也会更加和谐地向前发展。

总之，新课程下的课堂教学，应是通过师生互动、学生之间的互动，共同发展的课堂。它既注重了知识的生成过程，又注重了学生的情感体验和能力的培养。因此，我们在教学中对教材的处理、教学过程的设计以及评价的方式都要以学生的发展为中心，以提高学生的全面发展为宗旨，这才是课改的最终目标。
