可是，我觉得光有分类是不行的，要在垃圾桶上写一些可回收一类的垃圾和不可回收的一类垃圾的种类，不是每个人都想我们一样接受知识多，知道什么是可回收和不回收的垃圾是什么，想那些民工，他们不知道，就会乱丢一气，这样反而不好。不仅起不到环保和垃圾分类的作用，反而会给那些垃圾场的工作人员带来工作的困扰。

此外，我还发现一个蛮严重的问题。

有一天，我和妈妈还有姥姥一起去坐公共汽车，想要去烈士陵园扫墓。开始我们是开开心心的出门啊，可是当我们去公共汽车车站等车的时候，发现旁边有一个垃圾桶，里面的垃圾已经发臭了，路过的行人纷纷五着鼻子绕到走，我们走过的时候一会闻见一股很大的腐臭味。

后来，我在去过的地方，凡是有垃圾桶的，我就仔细观察有没有臭味。经过一段时间的观察，我发现，现在的垃圾桶都是固定的，不像以前那种可以把垃圾倒出来，可是为什么会发臭呢??后来我才知道，原来是因为垃圾桶是固定的，那些环卫工人早晨清垃圾桶的时候，只是简单的把表面的垃圾捡出来，并没有清理到底部。有一次，我就去问他们为什么不把垃圾清理干净?他们说不是不想，是因为垃圾桶是固定的，所以手不能伸到底部，垃圾又不能倒出来，所以就只能把垃圾留在里面了。

由此可见，垃圾桶发臭，不是因为环卫工人不尽责，而是因为垃圾桶的设计有问题。我在此希望，为了oo市的美丽，为了空气的清新，请市长叔叔再叫人设计过一些既实用，有好看的垃圾桶，不要再让那些臭味来污染我们清新的空气。

上次我去了太湖山庄的水上乐园游玩，那里除了游泳池里的水的地方以外，都是一些绿色的脏水。我坐快艇往外面开过去的时候那溅起来的和快艇旁边的水也都是绿色的。而且爸爸吃了在太湖边上的饭店的鱼以后，第二天早上就拉肚子了。可见人们对水的污染是多么的严重啊!有一些工厂，它们常常河道里堆垃圾和大量排放污水，使河里的鱼无法生存而死亡。这一切也是我亲眼所见的，有一次，我和爸爸妈妈正在回家去的路上，我们看到了有一大群人挤在那里。于是我们就停下了车子去看个究竟，我们走近一看才知道，原来是一家饭店养在河里的鱼一条不剩的全都死光了，我朝四周望了一下看到了有一家工厂在源源不断地向河里排放污水。我看了一眼工厂，又看了一眼那些白肚子朝上的死鱼，叹了一口气就走了。

还有一些工厂的大烟囱，每天每夜不停地向外面吐黑烟，天空中有时候还会遮住阳光。这些工厂的黑烟还是下酸雨的主要原因呢!我小的时候在一本《少年科普知识》里面曾读到过一句这样的话：“我们城市上面的大气层没有一天是干净的。”难道我们还能再这样的污染的吗?

一些人为了图个方便，就把垃圾往楼下一扔，就草草了事了，他们是方便了，但是住在一楼和二楼的住户呢?只能整天忍受着臭味的痛苦，你们为他们想过吗?还有一些人大量的砍伐树木，使一些小鸟无法回到找到自己的家，整天经受着风吹雨打，你们又为他们想过吗?

Dear Sir,

I would like to apply for the post of Works Manager, which was advertised in The Guardian of I2 October 2004. I feel that my qualifications and experience are ideally suited for the position.

I was born in 1968, and I went to school from 1973 to 1988. In 1987 I took the General Certificate of Education, and I got good grades in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. After leaving school, I attended the Orient Technical College, where I first studied Fiber Technology and Color Chemistry; later I studied other subjects related to textile manufacture, and in 1991 I obtained the Diploma in Textiles.

After completing my studies, I joined the Top Clothing Company where I worked until 1996. In that year I moved to Prior Productions, who was pleased with my work, and as a result, in 1998, I was promoted to Assistant Works Manager there.

I enjoy my work, and I am prepared to work hard. Moreover, I am sure that Prior Productions would give me an excellent reference. I therefore feel that my application deserves your serious consideration.
