The quality of human life has improved greatly over the past few centuries, but Earth is being harmed more and more by human activity. As we develop our technology, we demand more from our planet. Eventually, this will harm people as well.

Our planet gives us everything we need, but natural resources are not endless. Strip mining devastates whole regions, leaving bare and useless ground. Deforestation removes old growth trees that cant be replaced. Too much fishing may harm fish populations to the point where they cant recover. With growth comes pollution. Companies and communities dump waste into water. Landfills are full of trash. Emissions from factories pollute the air. Barrels of industrial waste and worse, radioactive waste, have no safe place to go. If were not careful, we can harm our planet beyond repair.

People need to respect the Earth and try to preserve it. If we dont, what kind of future will we have?

all around the world, which shows that our Chinese culture become much more

popular than ever. As one of the four ancient civilizations, China has long

history and creates many splendid cultures. The ancient culture once had great

Christmas Day is on December 25th. It was originated in the western

country, but today, this festival has been celebrated by the world. For the

manufacturers, they are very happy to make this day as a shopping day. I enjoy

the great atmosphere.

I had a very special Christmas day last year. I experienced the western

style festival. There was a new foreign teacher taught us the lesson. She was

about 50 years old and she was very kind and we all liked her. On Christmas Day,

she brought us the desserts she made early in the morning. We enjoyed the

home-made cakes. Whats more, she invited us to came to her house and spent the

day with her. Then for the first time, I ate big turkey, which was so delicious.

The turkey was filled with many stuffs and the flavor was so good. After dinner,

was such funny for me. Though today many people enjoy shopping in all kinds of

Consequently, they are intimated of receiving negative comments for doing the right thing. However, our society is waging a campaign against environmental pollution. People learn the harms of un-degradable lunch boxes and other polluting wastes. Laws in many countries prohibit or limit excessive use of polluting bags. Companies are continually replacing the old materials with more environmental friendly and recyclable kinds. Scientists have developed more effective technologies in waste treatment. As time goes by, more and more people put high priority on the protection of environment for a healthier life.

To sum up, people produce huge amount of garbage and the environment is seriously polluted because of lack of financial resources, sense of responsibility, or efforts. But the world will not turn into a “throw away” society if people put in sufficient efforts to protect our environment.

Panda is our country’s treasure, we should protect it. nowadays, we see

from the TV that panda is less than before, it is not only because of the damage

of the environment, but also the weakness of the panda. Everybody loves panda,

it is so lovely, a panda has two black eyes, it is very lazy, it likes sleeping

all the time. When we see its round body shape, we can’t help loving them. In

order to see the lovely animal, we need to protect them. We must protect the

environment, like not to throw the rubbish away, not to cut down the trees. We

condemn such behavior that killing the animals. Protecting the animals is

Today, with the fast development of science and technology, the artificial

intelligence has gone much further than people can imagine, such as the robot.

Now the first robot is admitted to be a citizen, which scares so many people.

Many scientists had predicted that someday robots would replace human being not

only in physical work, but also in minds. How terrible it would be. It is said

that scientists saw two robots discussing by creating a new language, then they

decided to turn down the machine and made them stop working. They knew clearly

the danger may happen in the future. Most people have thought about

self-consciousness that robot may have some day, but scientists still have a lot

of passion in searching the robots. They want to complete everything. But no one

can make sure what they can bring for human being.

每个月的15号，爸爸都会带上我回老家。 On the 15th of each month, my dad will bring me back to my hometown.

爸爸说有两个原因，一是回来看望奶奶，二是给村上的池塘清清垃圾洗洗……

我心里觉得很奇怪，为什么池塘也要洗澡呢?爸爸告诉我：“如果你十天半月不洗澡会怎么样呢?身体臭臭对不对?那池塘也是一样，那么多的垃圾被扔到里面，也会臭臭哦，那么池塘里的小鱼和其他小动物也会被污染的，我们也就吃不到干净的小鱼小虾，不能用干净的水洗米洗菜，也不能下池塘游泳了哦。“

Last week, I visited the geological museum with my best friend, Liu Bing.

It was my first time to go there. The moment we arrived there, we found that the

building was grand. When we walked into it, there was a big hall in front of us.

And then there were several rooms to show different kinds objects. There was a

clothes and shoes in the old times. The next room was for collecting the daily
