Christmas Day is on December 25th. It was originated in the western

country, but today, this festival has been celebrated by the world. For the

manufacturers, they are very happy to make this day as a shopping day. I enjoy

the great atmosphere.

I had a very special Christmas day last year. I experienced the western

style festival. There was a new foreign teacher taught us the lesson. She was

about 50 years old and she was very kind and we all liked her. On Christmas Day,

she brought us the desserts she made early in the morning. We enjoyed the

home-made cakes. Whats more, she invited us to came to her house and spent the

was such funny for me. Though today many people enjoy shopping in all kinds of

有一天，我在路上遇到一只小狗。小狗说：“人类正在砍伐树木、污染环境。过不了多久，我们小动物活不下去了，人类的末日也要来临了。”

我听到这些，简直不敢相信。可是我又觉得小狗的话有点道理，就跑过去告诉正在砍伐树木的人们：“请不要乱砍树木了！”可是没人听我的，他们还在不停地砍到一棵又一棵的大树。在回家的路上，我又看见好多人在草坪上跑来跑去，在把垃圾扔得到处都是。在草坪边上有一块大牌子写着：“爱护花草，保护环境！”这八个字，难道他们都看不见吗？忽然，“砰”的一声，一个人把一大堆垃圾扔进了小河，小河顿时飘出一股恶臭。这时，我发现路边明明有个垃圾桶，可是没有一个人把垃圾扔进垃圾桶，人们把垃圾扔得满地都是，苍蝇在上面嗡嗡地飞来飞去，我还差点被一块香蕉皮给滑到呢！看着这些，我想起了那只小狗对我说的话，这究竟会不会变成真的呢？我一直想啊想

原来是一场噩梦啊，吓死我了！要是人类不保护环境，噩梦就会成真。所以请大家一定要记住这句话：“保护环境，从小事做起！”

环境保护是一个全人类都在面对的艰巨的问题，我来给家乡发展提十条建议。

第一条：少用一次性筷子。一次性筷子如果用得过多，森林的面积就会减少。

第二条：提倡垃圾分类。垃圾分类也能减少环境恶化，垃圾主要分为“可回收垃圾”、“不可回收垃圾”、“其他垃圾”等。

第三条：合理用纸，打印纸张时要双面打印，不能浪费纸张，应该节约用纸。

第四条：不乱丢垃圾。垃圾不能随地乱丢，应及时放进垃圾桶内。

第五条：节约粮食，粮食都是农民伯伯辛辛苦苦种的，要考虑有些地方的人还在挨饿。

第六条：少做私家车。可以多骑环保又能健身的自行车，也可以坐公交车，这样能减少空气污染。

第七条：少用塑料袋，据了解塑料袋是无法分解的。据了解，分解一个塑料瓶需要至少450年！

第八条：政府对工厂排出的废烟、废气、废水等都要采取有效措施。那些不仅会污染环境，还会影响人类的健康。

第九条：少用农药，被农药污染的水是对我们的身体是有危害的，会污染环境。

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. 人们的口袋鼓了，生活富裕了，生存环境却一日不如一日。不要以为钱是万能的，什么都可以解决。有些东西是钱买不来的。如生命，如环境！

如果我们无视环境，不去保护生态，到时人们每天吃着的是毒食物，喝着的是毒水，全部是“黑色食品”，“绿色食品”那将只是个美丽的传说。到时，像“SARS”一样的病毒，就像小感冒一样流行。那时，人们出行都是面戴“防毒面具”，因为大气污染太严重了，不戴“防毒面具”，十秒都活不了！

如果无端砍伐森林，到时“树”将只会在“植物博物馆”能见到。那时“沙尘暴”将是每天上演的必修课。

work and life are ubiquitous, but how can we deal with it? Here are some tips

that I hope can be useful.

Firstly, keep good health. A healthy body is the premise to face presure.

It’s the least capacity to cope with stress when a person is sick. Secondly, to

accept the pressure. The reason why many people can not cope with stress is that

they resist and escape it. Actually, there always is trouble and problems once

we chose a path to go, because almost everything worth doing is not so easy.

Thirdly, solve the problem, rather than complain about it. Many people complain

about the surroundings and don’t think about the solutions when faced with

problems. We all know that complaint can do nothing but only let you down. As

long as the problem not solved, the pressure is always there. Fourthly, tell

others your pressure and get help from them. Lots of pressure can’t be solved by

our own and the rational way is talking the pressure to workmates or friends to

get help from them. But the premise to do so is that we don’t intend to put

pressure to others but to seek help and support to solve problems.

Of course, there also are some other ways to cope with stress, such as

readjusting goal and expectation, playing games to relax, even shopping or

eating. But no matter how, solving the problem that causes stress is the best

way.

As is known to all, waste on campus has become a more and more serious problem. We can easily see many students dump a lot of food in the garbage can. Some students spend thousands of yuan buying fashionable clothes and so on.

The negative effects of waste can be shown in the following aspects. In the first place, it makes some students dependent on their parents for money, which is harmful to their development.

If they don’t learn to support themselves, they will be “useless people” when they graduate. In the second place, it is not easy for our parents to arrange for our schooling. 几年后，这些果树都成了林，结出了累累硕果。在舅公的影响下，村里的好些人家也种起了果树，才有文章开头的情景。

舅公的故事很是让我感动，他让我明白了要保护水土，首先要保护好树木。因为树木能保持水土，净化空气。只有树木多了，空气才会更清新，大自然才会更美丽。只要我们大力植树造林，水土就不会流失。

我们海西的小朋友，让我们行动起来吧，从小树立环保意识，节约用水，保护水土流失，像我的舅公一样，爱我海西，护我水土，植树造林，呵护自然，留给人类一个美丽的生存空间!把海西的水土建设更加美丽、更加富强，成为世界一流的好海西。

On Saturday morning I always have English classes at school. I study hard in the classroom. In the afternoon I often play computer games. On Sunday morning I often draw pictures. 晚饭时，我看着碗里的米饭问妈妈：“我们家的米里有没有镉？”妈妈笑着解释：“并不是所有的大米里都有镉的，这是老家的大米。”我点点头又看看桌上的排骨：“猪肉能吃吗？”爸爸解释：“上海江面的死猪只是偶然的事件，并不是说猪肉都不能吃了。”

电池在我们的生活中是必不可少的，可是有一些人，用完了电池，就把它乱丢乱弃，污染了环境。为什么废电池会污染环境呢？因为废旧电池中含有重金属，如果把重金属乱丢乱弃，那么对环境的污染将会是相当严重的。所以，当我们看到废旧电池的时候，一定要把它捡起来，让它能不再破坏环境。

随地吐痰是一种不文明的表现，又破坏了环境。俗话说的好：“小小一口痰，细菌千千万。”是啊，如果你吐了一口痰，那么就会有千千万万个细菌在破坏环境。所以我们一定不要随地吐痰。

植树造林，保护环境，是我们大家共同的心愿。那么让我们从现在开始，植树造林，保护大自然，保护好我们自己。为什么非要植树造林呢？第一，为了保护环境。其二，树木吸收二氧化碳，同时释放出氧气。我们每人每年平均排出11吨二氧化碳，但如果我们植树的话，就可以两相抵消。

管住我们的口，不随地吐痰；管住我们的手，不乱扔垃圾；管住我们的脚，不踩踏草坪。

现在，我们的地球母亲正面临着重重危机，而我们这些地球母亲的孩子却满不在乎地滥砍树木，破坏水资源，污染空气····继续破坏大自然，使地球母亲“病上加病”，发出阵阵哭泣声。地球给了世界万物生存所需的各种自然资源，她是无私的；而我们人类却是自私的，不顾后果地破坏大自然，使地球母亲身上变得“千疮百孔”。 说到这，我给你们讲个小故事吧： 从前，有一个很美丽的村庄，村子里来到处都是树。

人们对这些树都非常喜爱，从不滥砍滥伐。最奇特的是：这个村子里的人都能听懂动物的语言。村子里一片和谐，人们和动物有说有笑的。每天过着无忧无虑的生活。 有一天，村里飞来了一只啄木鸟，村长看这只鸟很奇特，再说他们也 没有见过这种鸟，以为是老天爷派下来的圣鸟，就把大家召到一起，说；“大家听着，这是老天爷派下来的圣鸟，大家要好好保护它，一切都听它的。”“行，村长！”“没有问题，村长，您就放一百个心吧！”大家异口同声的说。

这只啄木鸟感到很奇怪，后来人们都称它为“圣鸟”，它便开始有些自以为是了，对自己说：“我是圣鸟，是老天爷派下来的圣鸟！”从这以后，人们就听着只啄木鸟的话。一次，啄木鸟不想待在现在居住的树上了，因为树上太多毛毛虫了。它一时吃不完，夜晚也睡不好觉，就飞到村长家，对村长说：“尊敬的村长，老天爷派我下来是让我看看你们这个村子怎样接待贵宾的，态度好不好，可你们却让我天天睡在有很多虫子的大树上，成何体统！”“行行行，尊敬的圣鸟，我这就让可爱的小鸟把毛毛虫都叼出来。”“不用了，砍了就行了！”“这不太好吧，这样做会破坏自然环境的。”“嗯，你敢抗命吗？”“不想不想，我这就去办。”村长无可奈何地说。

第二天，啄木鸟带着村民来到森林，说：“这颗树有毛毛虫！”于是村民们便一拥而上，七手八脚地就把树砍掉了。以后，只要啄木鸟説哪树有毛毛虫，村民们就会砍掉哪棵树。这个村子的人们一而再，再而三的砍树，没过多久，树就被村民们砍光了。村长和村民们都很生气，要杀了这只啄木鸟，啄木鸟见情况不好，赶紧逃跑了。 从此，这个村子就不再像原来那样和谐了，动物们也远离了这个村子。没过多久，下了一场大暴雨，引来了势不可挡的洪水，使得这个村子被淹没了。 这虽然是一个虚构的小故事，但是，如果我们还一如既往地砍伐树木，破坏地球的生态环境，必将造成悲剧的。所以，就让我们行动起来，切记住：保护环境从我做起！亲爱的朋友们，让我们一起来保护我们这个世代生存的地球吧！

国庆节早上我和爸爸妈妈一起看国庆节大阅兵。

胡锦涛同志坐上车，缓慢的向前驶去。每经过一个，都会高喊“同志们好，同志们辛苦了。”解放军就异口同声的回答：“为人民服务。”然后，我们的胡锦涛同志登上天安门城楼开始阅兵。

解放军一个方队一个方队的大步朝主席台过来。他们步伐非常整齐，铿锵有力。有步兵、炮兵、女子兵、后勤、炮弹等方队，炮弹方队里有最先进的导弹，这些导弹都是我国科学家用汗和血研制出来的。有了这些先进的武器，别的国家就不敢欺侮我们了。

我爱我的祖国，祝福我的祖国生日快乐!我长大了要当科学家，要让世界各国互相帮助，和平相处。
