THE GOAL IN MY LIFE

Changes in My Hometown

Great changes have taken place in my hometown these years. There used to be old and low houses on the streets,but now you can see people live and work in tall buildings. In the past, you could always see rubbish everywhere. But now the environment is clean and tidy. Many trees are planted on both sides of the street, so the air is very fresh.There were not any buses in my hometown, so most of us used to walk to work or go to school by bike.However, life is much better now. Last summer holiday, I visited to Xiamen with my parentsby plane. My

English teacher once told us that Xiamen is a beautiful city that worth of

visiting. We stayed there for four days. We lived in a small fishing village. On

the first day, we visited to Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. Xiamen

University is consideredas the most beautiful and romantic campus in China.

Indeed, its fantastic and its buildings are distinctive. On the second days, we

enjoyed the scenery of Jimei District. On the third day, We visited to Gulangyu.

Its amazing and I like it very much. There are many small specific stores.

Buddhist temple in Xiamen.Xiamen Botanical Garden, known as the Wanshi Botanical

Peace Stone. In the past decade, Xiamen has changed a lot with rapid advancing

Today, as the development of technology, people can change their faces by doing plastic surgery, because of the commercial ads, people are highly effected by the exaggerated facts that they can be the shining stars. So people pay special attention on the outlooks, they want to look perfect, as far as I am concerned, the true beauty is nothing with perfect looking, only the inner beauty makes you shining. In the fairly tale of Cinderella, the prince chooses the poor girl instead of the beautiful girls, because he admires Cinderella’s inner beauty, though she is nobody. Though it is just a story, it tells people that inner beauty makes one outstanding. People can make their faces perfect, but there is no way to fulfill their inner beauty by technology. 我是英语课代表，所以在英语方面我是一向不敢有一点怠慢的，在之前的每一次考试中，我也是有惊无险的坐在第一名的宝座上(在这里说一句实在话，这真的是很累，每次都得付出那么多，我也都是有一些厌烦了)。但是上次的期末考试，确实让我栽了个跟头，我的英语成绩一向是维持在140分左右的，考试这次竟然130分都考不到，这让我有些惊讶，更有些害怕，在几天后的通英语老师的交谈中，我也是从她的眼神中看到了一丝失望，这让我下定决心在今后一定要更加发奋学习。

当然，在英语方面，我也是犯了一些原则性的错误。前几天，老师突然在早上检查起了作业，要知道平日里老师是很少用课堂上的时间来做这样耽误时间的事的。可是那天，也是因为我的一些失误，作业有些未完成的没有告诉老师(再说句实话，告诉老师，真的很得罪人，就是因为怕得罪人，所以.....可是，世界上哪里有不自私的人啊?!!)也是被狠批了一顿，并跟着他们被多布置了几遍作业。对此，我很是心服，我也当然知道这是不对的，是害了同学。可是我却是因为怕得罪同学，我觉得这是我思想上的问题，今后我也应当正确承担起课代表应付的责任，真心为同学服务，所以，这也应了一开始我就说的话，老师对一切同学都是一视同仁的!

这便是我的英语老师，一个能够一视同仁，为同学着想，一个真正让我心服的老师!

I am studying in a middle school now, my school is near my home.

I love my school, I can learn a lot in my school. The teachers teach me knowledge about math, Chinese and others things about life, these are important to me, I become mature. I make many friends here, the first day I come to this school, I get to know my deskmate, in a few days, I get to know my classmate, now I have a lot of friends, I feel so happy.

In my school, the equipment is modern and we can use the newly invented resource. The environment of my school is also beautiful, the trees are tall, the grass is green. I love my school so much.

My name is.... I am eleven years old this year. I am tall and thin with two big eyes.I like reading, collecting stamps, playing the piano, playing table tennis, traveling and so on. I also like eating meat because it is delicious. I am interested in maths and English. I study hard every day so I am good at maths and English. I also like playing basketball on weekends with my friends. My favorite star is Yao Ming. I admire him very much.

Last week, my friends asked me to spend the weekend in the house that near

the lake. It is one of my friends’ house, where their families often spend the

holiday together. Though the house was not big, the environment around was

really beautiful. In the daytime, we walked around the lake and appreciated the

beauty of nature. At night, we made some food and barbecued. It was such a happy

time that we sung and danced. We talked about our future thoughts. Before we

went to bed, we watched movies together and discussed the plot. This is the most

wonderful moment for us. We share our happiness and have no annoyance.
