Welcome to Suzhou. Today I’m your tour guide. Suzhou is a beautiful place in Southeast China. It was built over 2500 years ago. So Suzhou is an old city with a long history. It’s famous for its gardens and Hanshan Temple. We are all proud of them. Many foreign tourists come to see them. In Suzhou, There are lots of old constructions like Tiger Hill, Beisi Pagoda and so on. After visiting them, you’ll be tired. But don’t be worried. There are also lots of snack shops in Suzhou. They are different from those in Western countries. They are much more delicious than some Western food. Suzhou is a modern city as well as an old city. The Spring Festival is a traditional festival for all Chinese people. On

that evening there is a very traditional ceremony----Spring Festival Gala, which

is the favorite for many people. It brings so much happiness to Chinese all

around the world .

When asked about their opinion on Spring Festival Gala, people always

reason differently. Some people deem that it should be cancelled, while there

are also other people who argue that it should be continued.

Some people take it for granted that the Gala should not exist because it

is too boring on the evening of the Lunar New Year. Besides, the form of the

Evening seems the same every year. In comparison, there are, however, a large

number of people who hold a different view concerning this issue, they insist

that the Gala must be continued. They argue that it is one of the most important

celebration customs. And they think the Gala is worth expecting.

As far as I am concerned, I am intending to stand on the side of the latter

group of people. Admittedly, the former point of view seems reasonable, but the

latter is more persuasive. Taking the above-mentioned factors into

consideration, I can safely conclude that the Gala just needs a reform in the

future but not to be cancelled.

There is no doubt that football is the NO.1 sport in the world, though our

football players don’t play it very well, still a lot of fans keep their

enthusiasm on this sport. They watch the matches even staying up. These fans

like to make up a group. They share the same interest and watch the match

together. It is football that brings them together.

The biggest match for football is the World Cup. As it holds every four

years, it is like the biggest event, and the whole world is crazy about it. All

the media are reporting the event and fans from all over the world gather

The Internet is becoming more and more important in our daily life. On the net, we can learn news both at home and abroad and all kinds of other information as well. We can also send messages by e-mail, make phone calls, go to net school, read different kinds of books and learn foreign languages by ourselves. “衣着怪”

什么?何老师衣服也怪?有同学问了，那在座的各位有没有发现，何老师的服饰好似一年四季都没变过——西服、衬衫、西裤和皮鞋，“怪”的地方还不止一处，你仔细看看，何老师的皮带上一直挂着一串钥匙，所以才会在何老师走路时发出“叮叮”的声音，以至于为什么，还是一个谜。

“感情怪”

总算讲到最后一个“怪”了，要说“感情怪”

何老师这变化多端的感情怕是连大侦探福尔摩斯也难以琢磨透啊!

何老师虽说教我们的时间还不长，但他20多年的教学经验以及他对我们灌注的心血足以弥补这一缺陷，他的的确确是我人生中不可多得的导师!

On christmas day, shops are red and green. There are so many christmas cards, christmas hats, christmas dolls and many colourful things. So shops look very beautiful. We can give a card or a doll to our friends and say “merry christmas.” By the way, i think studying can also become much more interesting.

This holiday my sister and I went to Shanghai. My sister had just graduated and she wanted to find a job in Shanghai. My uncle lived in Shanghai, so we lived with him after we got there. On the first day we went to a lot of interesting places, including Waitan and Huangpu Park.

The next few days were spent helping my sister find a job. We read many advertisements in newspapers. My sister failed in getting the first job because they said she was too young. Then we lost our way and couldn’t find the second company. We had a map but the city is so big, so we had to asked someone for help and finally found the second company. The boss had a talk with my sister and asked her to wait at home for their decision. A month later we went home. My sister couldn’t find a job in Shanghai because she was not knowledgeable enough or she didn’t have enough experience.

In this holiday we learned that if we want to succeed in life, we have to work hard and get a lot of knowledge.(约185字)

There are four seasons in the year. They’re spring, summer, autumn and

winter.

Spring is warm and sunny. In spring days, everything in our nature is

green, so we can go out to release ourselves and breathe the fresh air. I think

its a good way to enjoy our beautiful nature.

Summer is hot and rainy, but summer is the best season for entertainment,

because we can go swimming in the sea and enjoy the beautiful sunshine on the

beach. It must be very interesting.

Autumn is very cool and comfortable, and it is also the best season for

harvest. In autumn days, the farmers are busy in their fields. If we had a

chance, we could go to the countryside and pick up some fresh fruits and

vegetables.

Winter is very cold and freezing. In winter, our world is covered with

white snow, so we can either make snowmen or fight with snow. And we can also

enjoy the beautiful ice lanterns in Harbin. But I prefer to go to Sanya during

that time. As its on Hainan Island, the weather is always so temperate. Even in

December, I can still enjoy the green palm trees, the beautiful sea, the sunny

beach and the blue sky. Maybe I can find endless pleasure there.

I am sorry to trouble you, but nobody would come into my mind to help me except you.

You know, I had planned this holiday for several years. A t last, my dream came true. You could imagine how excited I was. My mind was completely occupied with the holiday. I forgot to collect my laundry. I dont know if you can help me collect my laundry. I sent the laundry to the Johns. It is the one down the corner on St. Peters Street. You cant miss it, because the house is painted green-a big green house. I have got two pairs of trousers, three shirts, one T-shirt and a blanket. Call a taxi to send you home. I will pay you back when I am home.

My first stop is London. It is raining. The streets are very clean. How I wish I could have the chance to see the famous London fog. But someone told me that was already the history. One can only read things like that about London in books.
