On May first, my elder brother, grand-mother, aunt and me went shopping, we bought: lollipops, bananas, ice creams, chocolates, milk,

Last summer, intolerable heat, so mom and Dad brought our family went to see the ice sculpture museum.

As soon as we walked into the ice sculpture museum, we felt the chill of the inside, and I knew it was only minus six degrees Celsius. Were just like going into a big fridge. Ice sculptures in the ice sculpture hall are lifelike. It stood the ancient "Four Beauties": Sha Shi, Mochizuki Pipa Wang Zhaojun, Diao Chan, Yang dancing, all lovingly pathetic. The side see also the twists and turns of the bridge deck and handrails, sparkling, shining. There are all kinds of ice sculptures at the side of the bridge. It was found that the eaves of a unique Pavilion were flying, the pillars were beautiful, and the chairs were exquisite, so that people could not help sitting down and resting for a while. It is a special day today. My mother sent one hundred basket of red bayberries. I like to eat red bayberries. It tastes nice. When they arrived in Shanghai, they were still fresh. But most of them would be sent to my mother’s business friends. I chose the best basket of red bayberries to eat. I put the rest in my refrigerator. Red bayberry is my hometown’s special product. It is well-known in china. Many people like to eat it.

今天，我过了一个快乐的“五一”节。姐姐回来了，父母带我们去公园玩。

一进公园，我们就被这里热闹的场面吸引住了，小朋友玩碰碰车，有的在玩小火车，还有的在滑旱冰……大家脸上都漾溢着幸福的笑容。我和姐姐急忙跑过去加入他们的队伍。

我们先奔向碰碰车去，姐姐开车水很高，在好几辆碰碰车夹击下，灵活的躲来躲去，有时还能腾出空来故意去撞别人的碰碰车，看着大家躲躲闪闪，东倒西歪的，我们乐坏了。下了车我们往里走，看见在浅浅的游泳池里有手摇桨的小浮艇。一开始我不敢上，可是看到姐姐稳稳的坐在她那支小船里，我也心动了。我让老爸把我抱上船虽然还是有点害怕，可是我并没泄气，一下下地，按着老妈的指导摇着船桨，小艇在水面上开始稳稳的前进了，没一会儿就在水面上进退自如了，我感到很幸福和自豪。

最后，我们又去给石膏雕塑涂颜色。我们选中了一只小猪的笔筒，给它涂上金黄色的小帽，紫色的裙子，红亮的皮鞋然后坐在翠绿的草地上搂着洁白的笔筒，漂亮极了。看着我们最终的作品这么成功，我俩高兴的又蹦又跳，象一对快乐的小鸟。

这就是我快乐的“五一”。

今天是一年一度的国际五一劳动节，我原以父母会带我去玩，但出乎意料的是，父母让我去做农活。

这天下午，我与爸爸、妈妈、奶奶、二姑、二姑爷，还有妹妹们一起来到河边。欠先拿出打菜籽的工具，接着展开油布。我与妹妹们的任务是：拔菜子干。二姑爷说：“兰兰，你数最大，你当大队长。”说完，便各自忙开。

我与妹妹们也开始干活。起先，我们都信心十足。平时懒散的林林也干得很认真，一会儿来个“力拔千斤”，一会儿来个“倒拔垂柳”，可上劲。可是，好景不长，不多久，一个个手脚发软，满头大汗，先前的那股兴奋劲不知跑哪儿去，一个个死皮烂脸的。爸爸看见后，笑嘻嘻地说：“快加油!干完活后我们就去买冰淇淋。”听这句话，我们姐妹几个顿时浑身来劲，半个小时后，我们终于完成任务。为能够早些吃上可口的冰淇淋，我们又帮着父母打完菜籽。回家后，妈妈拿钱给我们买冰淇淋。当我吃着这可口、美味的冰淇淋时，心里真是美滋滋的。

这个五一节虽然过得要比往年辛苦，但是却让我受益匪浅，我深深地体味到劳动的艰辛，但比艰辛更难得的是那份劳动的快乐。

A happy Day

It was sunny and very hot today. I got up early and helped my parents cook breakfast. Then I washed the dishes and cleaned the room. After a short rest I did my homework in the morning. In the afternoon I went swimming in the nearest swimming pool with my friends. It was really cool to swim in such a hot day. I surfed the internet and read a storybook in the evening. Dropped in at National Library to see the National Book Exhibition which will close today. Suprised at the fact that so many kinds of books are published in our country. Thought the childrens books with many pages of colorful illustrations were made very nicely. Bought a copy of the Chinese version of English and American Short Stories at a 20 per cent discount. Am going to read this through in this good season for reading.

信步走到图书馆看即将在今天结束的全国书籍。惊奇的是发现我们国家竟然出版了这么多种的书籍。我觉得富有多页彩色插图的儿童书籍印刷的相当精美。我买了一本打八折的《英美短篇小说》中文版。我要在这读书的好季节里将它读完。
