有关资料显示，1994年7月，淮河上游的河南境内突降暴雨，颍上水库水位急骤上涨超过防洪警戒线，因此开闸泄洪将积蓄于上游一个冬春的2亿立方米水放了下来。水经之处河水泛浊，河面上泡沫密布，顿时鱼虾丧生。下游一些地方居民饮用了虽经自来水厂处理，但未能达到饮用标准的河水后，出现恶心、腹泻、呕吐等症状。经取样检验证实上游来水水质恶化，沿河各自来水厂被迫停止供水达54天之久，百万淮河民众饮水告急，不少地方花高价远途取水饮用，有些地方出现居民抢购矿泉水的场面，这就是震惊中外的"淮河水污染事件"。

在日常生活中，我们也经常会发现水污染的例子。我每次去沿江公园散步，都会发现松花江面上有行人随手丢弃的饮料瓶、塑料袋等垃圾，美丽的松花江就这样被污染了。

现如今，工业越来越发达，人类的生活需求越来越高，有些工厂为了图省事，直接将未经处理的工业废水排入江河之中，导致了水的污染。有些农民大量使用化肥、农药、除草剂，从而造成了农田污水。由于人们过多的砍伐树木，造成了水土流失。

水虽然很普通，却是大自然赋予人类最保贵的财富。随着人类对水的需求量急剧增长，作为生命之源的水资源已造成严 重短缺，有些地方已闹起水荒，一向温顺的水向人类敲响了警钟。我国是世界上12个贫水的国家之一，有300个城市缺水，近50个城市严重缺水，18个沿海 城市中14个缺水。而30年后，我国人均水资源占有量将从现在的基础上在减少五分之一，缺水问题将更加的突出。缺水现象不仅在中国，也是一个世界性的问 题，因此从1993年起联和国将每年的3月22日定为世界水日。

here are many kinds of animals in the world,but not only the humans.we live in the same world,and we should be friends.as everybody knows,the humans are the rulers of the world today,so we should protect our friends--the animals!

But how to protect them?as first,i think we must stop killing the rare birds and animals,especially the young ones.the second,we have to protect the environment,to make the sky blue,to make the grass green,to give the animals a comfortable space to live

As we know water is made up of our life,we could not leave without water.No water will no we.

Water is needed more and more,because our industry and agriculture produce developed fast.Somewhere water are scare,and some rivers are no water in them.But just little water is polluted,more waste water did not handled and discharge into river.

Around us there are a lot of students dont pay attention to save water,for example: after they washing their face and rinsing the mouth,they dont turn off the water tap .Let the water flowing day and night. What a pity!

It was a fine day today and the sun was bright. I visited Beijing Zoo with my classmate, He Song. The animals were so interesting that all the people loved them. When a bear asked for some food by waving its ann, a visitor threw something to it. At once I went up to him and said without thinking,Dont do that. Its bad for it. 据我所知：我国是一个干旱缺水严重的国家。我国的淡水资源总量为28000亿立方米，但是，我国的人均水资源总量仅仅只有2300立方米，为世界平均水平的四分之一，是全球人均水资源最贫乏的国家之一。然而，中国有十三亿人口，是世界上用水量最多的国家。有人说：“浪费一滴水无所谓，我们不缺这一点，水龙头一开，水哗哗地流淌出来。”真是如此吗?不，一个个鲜活的事例早就否定了这一切。

人类不爱惜水资源，不保护生态平衡，终究还是尝到了自己种下的苦果。如今，很多人天天喝着受污染的水，咀嚼着受污染的粮食。人们在享受现代工业文明的同时，也遭受着水污染带来的威胁，由此而造成社会损失和经济损失非数字可以罗列。这是大自然对人类的报复，是对人类咎由自取的大嘲讽!

从电视上了解到：有只千斤重的大海龟，近几天来，它一直食欲不振，不肯进食。周围的工作人员心急如焚，找到兽医，原想为它做b超。可由于体积实在太重，连兽医也没有办法。几天后，大海龟死了，它悲惨地死去了。当工作人员将它解剖开时。才发现，原来大海龟的胃边，缠绕着一只黑色的塑料袋。据说，就是因为海水浑浊不清，大海龟看不清食物，才将塑料袋吞进了肚子里，导致无法进食，悲惨死去。
