On National Day last year,mom and I saw a dog on the roadside.It was thin and poor.It was looking at us for help.It was shaking in the wind.This made me heartached.I asked my mother if I could take it home?My mother said yes.We went home with the dog.We cleaned his body and fur.From then,it has been our family members.Sometimes I got angry at him,but he was running around me to jump.When my parents got home from work,he will go downstairs or stand in the doorway looking at them and meet them.He will use eyes to communicate with us.In the morning,my little alarm clock rang,he would chop my bedside,he didnt stop until I woke up.So I was never late.

水是生命之本，一个人可以几天不进食，但不能几天不喝水，由此可见水对人身体的重要性。

我从小生活在江南水乡，到处是湖泊。夏天时，经常跳进水池与小伙伴嬉戏，在清波荡漾的湖水中玩耍。那是我以为水是无穷无尽，取之不竭的。但现在我了解到水源并不是无穷的，而中国更是一个贫水之国。

从表面上看，中国的水资源占世界的百分之五，位于第六。但实际上，我们的人均水源仅占世界人均的四分之一。近几年来，我国连发旱情，尤其西南地区最为严重。那里的河水断流，一道道干涸的河床，形成一条条深深地沟壑，犹如大地的伤痕。水井干枯，只能打出泛黄的泥水。几个月的不下雨，加上炙热的阳光烘烤，早已将仅有的水源掠夺的一干二净。庄稼没有丝毫生机，无助的农民伯伯坐在田埂上，阳光把他的影子投射到龟裂的土地上，我似乎看见农民伯伯的心也随着裂开了。在云南，在广西，干旱已是十年一遇，甚至百年一遇。486万头牲口因缺水而死，31万人靠送水度日。不仅仅是我国，在世界各地都有非常严重的旱情。1968年至1973年，非洲撒哈拉因旱灾导致20万人丧生。西非地区有20个国家3000万人缺水。当我们无忧无虑地享受着丰富的水资源时，有些人为取一桶水却要走十几公里，甚至几十公里的路。水资源的缺乏，让我深感震惊，我也对过去浪费水的行为感到羞愧。

3月22日是世界水日，我们所有小朋友都要为保护水资源出一份力。节约用水，从我们自己做起，从日常的生活中做起。洗手时，把水开小一点，不要浪费。每天洗脸后的水，用来浇花。无论在家里，还是在学校，看见漏水的水龙头都要关住。一点一滴，我们从小处做起。水资源是有限的，让我们行动起来，以节约水源为己任，千万不要使我们的眼泪成为最后一滴水。
